Charmant chalet inspecté et autorisé par la ville de Dana Point. Pas un condo / appartement mais une maison. Pas de murs adjacents. À distance de marche du port / marina avec une grande variété d'activités récréatives, de boutiques et de restaurants. Très confortable chalet de 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain dégage une bonne énergie comme décrit par certains clients. Parking dans la longue allée. Meubles de patio confortables dans la cour arrière. Un lit queen dans la chambre principale et un lit gigogne dans la deuxième chambre se déplient en 2 lits jumeaux. Il y a deux grandes commodes identiques dans les deux chambres. De plus, il y a 2 canapés pliants (futons) dans le salon. Près des commerces et services. La région est connue pour son climat parfait. Il fait rarement chaud ou froid. Nous mettons constamment à jour la propriété pour l'améliorer. La plupart des feuilles que nous fournissons ont un nombre élevé de fils. Les animaux seront considérés au cas par cas. La ville de Dana Point est très stricte en matière de nuisances sonores. Veuillez prendre connaissance des réglementations de Dana Point concernant les nuisances sonores. Il n'y a jamais eu de problème de sécurité. Cependant, pour que nos clients se sentent encore plus en sécurité dans le nouvel environnement, nous avons installé une caméra à l'extérieur UNIQUEMENT!

Very cute and well maintained cottage wit easy access to many great beaches,shops and restaurants.

Great little cottage convenient to everything in Dana Point. Very clean, very comfortable beds, most of what you need in the kitchen. Took advantage of the back patio to read in the afternoon, very private. The neighborhood is very quiet. Walkable to restaurants, and everything in the Lantern district. Great communication from the host. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Great Cottage in an excellent location!

It is always great to know that our guests enjoyed their stay. In the description of the house it is clear that there is no a/c but the house has many windows and fans in every room. When the windows are open and the fans are blowing the Pacific ocean breeze is exhilarating. Considering the rate, proximity to the water, the long driveway and a yard in the back the house represents a superb value. We are striving for 5 stars every time and will do our best to achieve it.

Alex was very easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. The house was very clean, it is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, the harbor and the beaches. San Juan Capistrano is so vibrant now with great downtown happenings and this house is so close. Thank you for a great stay!

Charming beach cottage

This home has a fantastic central location in a quiet neighborhood. The house had plenty of parking and garage . We had everything we needed and felt at home. Alexander was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend this Home. We hope to return again soon.

Dana Point vacation

Pros Great location in Dana Point Very clean and quiet Room for one car in driveway, possibly 2 small cars. Cons Description says it will sleep 6, we booked for 5 and paid the extra charge. However there were only 4 bath towels and minimal bedding - luckily 3 of our party couldn’t make it - I don’t think it would have worked for 5. It was fine for two. Very bare bones amenities in terms of toiletries and some of the nice touches of home, however the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils The outside areas could use some attention

The driveway next to the house is quite long. 2 big cars can easily fit in. Visually it may look shorter than it is but in reality it is long. Once the porch is passed 2 more cars can fit in. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom (for 2 guests), in the second bedroom a bed unfolds into 2 twins and in the living room 2 futons that can be unfolded as well. Since everybody is different and we cannot possibly guess the usage of toiletries. Therefore, it is stated in our home page that we provide the starter kits. In the outside area we have a table and an umbrella for 6. Glad you enjoyed the location and proximity to the water/Harbor. Thank you for the 4-star review. Please come back. You can rest assured that next time around will do our best to earn a 5-star review from you.

Summer stay

My little family stayed at this place for a week during July. It is in a great location at Dana point and close to doheney beach. The place was very clean, back patio was nice and there was even beach chairs, umbrella and a few toys for the beach. Having a washer and dryer was very nice. We did have to use fans at night to keep the temperature down and the one time we were there during the day time it did get quiet hot in the house. We were there during one of the hottest times of the year. I recommend this place for those wanting a close beach experience and a nice quiet neiborhood. We did end up driving to the beach due to having so much to carry.

A lovely little home base

This humble cottage is located on a quiet street and within walking distance to the Dana Point waterfront. I enjoyed watching 4th of July fireworks from the park overlooking the waterfront. The home was stocked with many basic necessities and if I needed anything, I need only ask and was quickly accommodated. For the heat intolerant, there is no AC. The breeze through the open windows were adequate enough due to the low humidity. We did have what I believe to be record temperatures on one day of my stay where my phone thermometer 🌡 registered 105. On that day, we hid in the shade of the small palm tree out back, with cold drinks and ice compresses. That was NOT typical weather for Dana Point. I only mention this at all for people with medical issues who may need to consider this. If I could make a request for this VRBO, I would request steak knives for the kitchen and a small container kept in the garage that someone might use to soak their feet on a hot day. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to sail. I’m hoping to return to this VRBO. It felt like Home.

Thanksgiving in Dana Point

We drove out to visit our son who is stationed at Camp Pendleton. The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving with my wife, our daughter, son, and the family dog.

If you don't mind staying in a dump this is the place for you.

Our stay here was awful.I don’t suggest bringing a pet since the yard is not enclosed. This place is basically an old dumpy place but it was clean. There is no air conditioning so it was unbelievably hot. I would not recommend staying here.

The beach cottage was as advertised. Older property in a quiet neighborhood. Quite small, very clean. All that I require. Walking distance to the harbor. Clean and comfortable cottage

The cottage was very clean and comfortable In a very nice neighborhood right off of PCH. Convenient to stores and restaurants. A bit of a distance to the harbor but lovely views for most of the walk. I’m always grateful when owners are open to allowing dogs since they are furry family. I would definitely stay here again.

Dana Point Cottage

We really enjoyed this property. It was cute and comfortable and the perfect distance from so many things. The patio was awesome and a great way to unwind after the day. The only things we didn't have were wash clothes and dish towels. The only improvement I could suggest was maybe some weather stripping on the exterior doors - you could see light on all sides. Definitely would stay here again!

Beach House in Dana Point

Our VRBO stay in Dana Point was a wonderful vacation for our family. So close to the harbor and beach and an unexpected bonus that the Whale and Dolphin Festival fell exactly the time we were there. The beach house was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there except a stool to reach the tall cupboards in the kitchen. A handicap for us short people. We casually looked for one but did not find it. Perhaps next time we will gift one to the house. Definitely will consider this property again.

This house is owned by my Mom. I manage it. It is cozy and very comfortable. It is within the walking distance to shopping, restaurants and recreational activities. Practically all guests have been saying that the location is superb.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The location is hard to beat. Please read the reviews. There is a great variety of all kinds of activities, beautiful Harbor/Marina and of course the beach. Doheny Beach is very famous but I prefer the Strands Beach which in my opinion is wide and spectacular. The adjacent Salt Creek beach is spectacular as well.
