Ce condo de 1000 pieds carrés est une propriété 5 étoiles à Dana Point Headlands avec PATIO ET SALON FACE À L'OCÉAN avec de fabuleuses vues côtières rénovées en 2017. C'est le meilleur qu'il obtienne!. Vous pouvez vous détendre sur la terrasse avec un verre et REGARDER LES VAGUES et si vous avez de la chance, vous pouvez voir les DAUPHINS jouer dans les vagues. Le soir, vous pouvez regarder le COUCHER DU SOLEIL sur l'océan.
Le bâtiment appartient à notre famille. Les photos ici représentent l'unité # 3 ou «The Contemporary» qui dispose de 2 chambres, une avec un lit king size et la seconde avec un lit queen. L'unité dispose de 2 salles de bain complètes.
Il y a un PATIO avec une magnifique vue sur l'océan qui mène à la grande salle avec une cuisine ouverte et une salle à manger. Le condo avait deux salles de bain complètes et une laveuse et une sécheuse à l'intérieur de l'unité. Il est situé au deuxième étage.
Il y a une table et 6 chaises dans la salle à manger. Il y a aussi un deuxième grand patio avec un barbecue et une table à manger pour 4 ainsi qu'un grand coin salon pour 4.
L'unité surplombe Strands Beach - à seulement 1/4 mile au sud du célèbre hôtel Ritz Carlton et Salt Creek Beach Park, et est situé à côté du chemin de la plage au sommet du bluff. C'est très calme, paisible et sûr. C'est vraiment l'un des endroits les plus inoubliables que vous trouverez. Le condo est meublé impeccablement et a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances ... Vous pensez peut-être que vous êtes au Ritz Carlton. ... apportez simplement votre brosse à dents!

I absolutely loved staying here and did not want to leave.. the view takes your breath away and the location is incredible. Jill was a delightful host and could not have been more gracious or accommodating. I also really enjoyed her beautiful artwork that made it even more beautiful. I definitely will be returning!

We stayed here for four nights in-between our son’s swim meets. It was beautiful! If you want a break from reality I’d recommend coming here, having a cup of coffee (or wine) on the patio as it overlooks the beach. It was beautiful! You can hear the waves from your bedroom. The property manager was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The beach is walking distance from this condo, we would load up our items and spend hours on the beach. We can’t wait to go back!

Excellent Accommodations!
Our unit was beautiful, tastefully decorated and with all the comforts of home. We cooked and grilled several times during our stay and had everything we needed. We also were fortunate enough to stay during the 4th of July weekend and saw the fireworks show all along the coastline. The view was phenomenal. Our unit was also provided binoculars so we were lucky enough too see a school of dolphins while sitting out on the deck and sipping our morning coffee. Our host was amazing she made us feel welcome but never infringed on our privacy, it’s a trip we won’t soon forget. We definitely plan on returning!

EXCEPTIONAL VIEW & LOCATION
The view from this suite is incredible! It is one of a few houses on top of the bluff facing the ocean, beside a nature preserve. We were able to watch birds fishing, dolphins frolicking, and even spotted whales from the deck. It was incredible! It’s a short walk to the marina, restaurants, and the incredible sea wall and beaches. We loved being able to walk the paths and hills each day. The area is incredibly quiet so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space for 2 couples or a small family. The one surprise was that the master bath has actually been renovated and it wasn’t shown in the pictures (if you go through the whole virtual tour you can spot it)!
We really enjoyed our stay even though it was unseasonably cool in California the week we were there. Someone else suggested bringing a jacket or something to block the wind when you sit on the deck and I’m so glad they did. The wind can be quite gusty coming off the open ocean.
We had a delightful week and staying in this suite was a big part of it!

Incredible view but fell short
We rented this condo for over a month 11/12/21-12/18/21
The ocean views at this condo are absolutely incredible. The Wi-Fi is fast, working washer and dryer in the unit, the location is top-notch, newer flooring, gas fireplace, interesting art, and nice art lighting. We saw fireworks twice from the small shared entrance/balcony overlooking the ocean.
The condo/host DID NOT provide the privacy or hospitality one would expect of a $10,000+ month-long vacation rental. . The unit is not luxurious. The interior was crammed with too many knickknacks, too much furniture, old kitchen utensils; there were multiple old and redundant kitchen appliances taking up cupboard space. Broken garbage disposal (a post-it note over the switch let us know), old dated range hood, etc.
As far as I’m concerned, the back patio was dated, worn, loud, unusable and unsafe (imagine a large unstable plywood divider-that fell over multiple times-on a dingy patio overlooking a home under active construction. )
I think it’s fair to mention, the owner/neighbor has two small dogs that bark a lot but didn’t really bother us.
(For reference, we stay at VRBOs semiannually and have always enjoyed our experiences.)

I am amazed at this review. These renters were some of the most inconsiderate people I have ever met. They left their dog alone numerous times and he howled for hours until they came back. I had to call them at dinner three times to ask them to come back and take care of their dog. They hit the wall in front of the house and denied hitting it although they were the only ones who could have done it and their was paint on their car. They are not honest and kind people.
These renters removed seven garbage bags consisting of sheets, blankets, towels, pillows, vases and all cleaning supplies under sinks and art objects and put them out on the patio the first day they arrived. They claimed the wife was allergic and that that they did not want any of these items in the unit. This was totally unacceptable as I had to move them to the garage during their stay. I never would have let them rent the unit under these circumstances. They were the most inconsiderate md unhappy people I’ve ever met.

The garbage disposal stopped working right before they arrived and I asked them if I could have it fixed while they were there and they declined the offer. It was fixed immediately after they left.
The unit is the same exact size as my other units with the same amount of furniture. These people do not have very good taste as the unit is beautifully decorated. Please see other reviews.
I am sorry that these people came to stay. They are not welcome back.

Unfortunately there are always people who are never happy. We have never had spiders in our properties. The condos on the hill all have ants in the summer as we live on a hill with many ants that come out in the heat. We have the units sprayed regularly during summer to control the ants which is a part of living on the beach in Southern California.
The parking ticket is the guest’s fault as there is no parking across the street from the condo on Friday mornings. We have parking on the property for all of our guests.
The photos do match the property except for the couch which has now been replaced.
Our units are professionally cleaned after all of our guests leave and we have never had any complaints about this before. Furthermore, the guest left the property a few hours early and we are not overpriced. The units similar to ours next door are charging between $40-200/night more than ours and are not any different - in fact ours have original art and are equally upgraded and renovated in the past couple of years. We charge less because we can and have three units to rent. We prefer to have clients stay with us because they lobe our units and appreciate the care we take in making them as nice as possible so that they may have a wonderful experience at the beach. We live here and enjoy sharing this magnificent property with others.

5-week stay
Only redeeming quality was the view. Unit tiny, not 1,000 sqft and was supposed to have a/c but owner pulled a bait and switch at last minute. Said kids would be staying in unit and we would be happier upstairs. Never said it had no a/c. Never saw a child in 5 weeks. Lots of junk in unit. Also owner came in when we were at dinner without our permission to get one of her many paintings stored behind beds and couch. It was not our cup of tea. Will never use VRMO again.

This review is inaccurate.
The unit IS approximately 1,000 sqft, actually it is 970 sqft. In addition, it has 2 patios, one about 180 sqft and the second, about 60.
The ‘junk” referred to in the review consisted of 7 large garbage bags of items taken from the unit and deposited by this woman to my outside patio. The bags consisted of the bedding for the king and queen beds as well as extra sheets and bath and beach towels. She also removed all of the cleaning products under the sinks and miscellaneous art pieces in the apartment. I was not happy. She should not be doing this.
I did move her upstairs about 2 weeks before she arrived. She was ok with the move. The upstairs unit rents for more than the downstairs units. There was no extra charge.
I NEVER go into anyone’s unit without permission. She did give me permission to go in the unit and remove one piece of art behind the queen bed.
We do have a/c in the downstairs units but no one uses it. I also live upstairs and do not have a/c and we do not need it. I don’t even use the fans. Beachfront property has a natural breeze and it is always cool here.
I have many repeat visitors who love being here as do I . I’m sorry that she was unhappy. I think VRBOs are not a good match for her. I wonder what is. Please read my other reviews.

Dana Point lookout
Yes the view was fantastic! The condo was clean, well appointed and quiet. It is located a short walk down to the water... Also there is a beautiful trail that over looks the water in a protected nature area just steps away. The docent told us that the discovery of tiny little mice had the power to protect the area from development... There is a great coffee shop and restaurants with in walking distance near PCH. I just would wish for a closer Whole foods...Jill was very helpful and showed us her art studio in the back... we shared a common art bond.

Looks just like the Pics!
We came to Dana Point for a family wedding at The Ritz but wanted something different from a hotel experience. The location was perfect because we could see The Ritz from the balcony. The pathway to the beach is just a few steps from the condo. The pathway consists of a trail part of the way down and then steps the rest of the way. It is a workout coming back up but totally doable. The condo was immaculate and the parking is good. Don't be afraid to book this unit with your family or with another couple as there are 2 bathrooms and there is just the right amount of seating in the living room which is roomy. Jill was there to greet us when we arrived and she was very friendly. We stayed four nights and the condo had everything we needed. This is a building with 4 units. Jill lives in the building and we had the upstairs unit next to hers. The two lower units have air conditioning and would be great if you are coming during one of the hotter times. We were very comfortable in our unit (The Contemporary) and the thermostat never got above 72. If you have never been to this area it is very dog friendly, everyone walks everywhere and the area is just very neat and clean. Laguna Beach is just a few minutes away as is San Clemente and you can take a ferry to Catalina Island from the Harbor which is very close. We flew into John Wayne International and I would say it was about a 30 minute drive to the condo. The airport is very clean and not very crowded so it was a good experience as well. A few of the hotel guests came to visit us at the condo and they were a bit envious. I wish we could have stayed a few more days as there is so much to do and see. Don't be nervous about booking this vacation home as it was a great experience for us.

We have owned this property for 20 years and take great pride in keeping it in excellent condition. I am trained as a scientist but about five years ago started painting. All of the units have original art, either mine which is very contemporary or that of my mother’s which is more traditional. Having grown up in Mexico, I am fluent in Spanish and after living in Paris for a couple of years, I am also fluent in French. We’d love to have you visit our little piece of paradise.

This property is in one of the most beautiful settings in the world, close to world famous art center Laguna Beach and San Clemente, home of the former President Ronald Reagan. It is also the home of the new Strands development, 10-20 million dollar oceanfront homes which are adjacent to our property.

We have spectacular sunsets over the ocean and a front on view of Catalina Island which you can see from your patio. On certain days you can see dolphins and surfers in the waves below. What is not to love?
