Excellent location nice quiet residential neighborhood . Short walk to the beach. Tai thoughtfully provides essentials for your stay. We look forward to staying there again.
We had a smooth check in/check out process. Tai was very helpful and friendly. This place is a prime location..the beach is football field away, Off street parking, beach toys, towels, full kitchen-dishes, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, filtered water, bathroom toiletries, hot shower,
air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable tv, the bed was super, super comfortable! Store and gas station, McDonaldâs (yuck) is within walking distance, the town of Kailua is a short 10-15 drive. This place will not disappoint. We definitely will be returning.
Thank you Tai!
Amazing place to stay and Tai was the best host! 2 min walk to the beach.
Super easy check in. Tai was very responsive and hospitable. The studio had everything you needed and he provided even bathroom toiletries which Iâve never gotten in an Airbnb before. Had a bunch of beach stuff to take. The bed was comfortable as well. Perfect little getaway! We look forward to staying here again.
Had a wonderful time. Great host. Looking forward to staying here when return for our next visit. The studio was nice and roomy with a full size kitchen. The bonus was the beach being right down the road. FYI...I grew up in WaimÄnalo, we were there to visit my mom ( she lives in Hale Aupuni).
We had a fantastic stay, only a 2 minute walk to the beach. And what a beach! Sand and waves, not a rock to be found. Safe and current free area with fun waves big enough to keep teenage boys entertained for hours. The room is a studio, not a single bedroom unit - and a tight one at that. But it was well furnished and the host was friendly and accommodating. Great find if you plan to spend your stay outside. We loved it!
Great location; walking distance to local beach, 5min drives to other spots good for snorkeling and grocery store. This studio had everything we needed; full kitchen, AC, instant filtered cold or hot water dispenser, beach towels, boogie boards. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I are super low key and like to make dinner every night with fresh food from the local market and be in quieter areas of the island and this was it. Tourist traps like shops and restaurants are far enough away but not too far by car if you wanted to go.
Our stay there was awesome. It's equipped with everything you may need. Great place to stay if you want to get away from the city. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Tai.
We had a blast. The property is small but super nice to be close to the beach. The beach was more local so it wasnât overly populated. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all necessary items
It was ok. The location for beach time was excellent but the property needs some work.
It was not all it was advertised to be. I never found the hot tub or pool but it was close to the beach and the landlord was friendly. There is obvious construction in and out of the unit. The AC was only partly working. I was out most days so it was not bad for evenings but it was not as comfortable as it could have been. It was a bit out of the way which was really good for me. Very relaxed. The neighbors were loud late one night but overall good neighborhood. For the price I think you can do better but it would be worth seeing after the work on the place is finished.
Tai was a great host and this place was large enough to accommodate 4 people if needed. Room was very clean and was stocked with all the essentials. Can't say enough about the bed. Super comfortable ( I have a bad back) and made the room that much more enjoyable. Oh yeah, the AC made the evenings that much more enjoyable.
Waimanalo has probably the best beaches on Oahu. Uncrowded, enough shade if needed, and offers surfing and snorkeling. Tai's place was only a couple hundred feet from the beach.
Couple things about Waimanalo. This is a very residential, working class area. If you want night life and lots of restaurants then Kailua is a few minutes away. There are a few places to eat and shop very close by if needed. There are pros and cons and I will take the pro side. We spent our days all over the island and it was nice to have a local store (Shima's) and quiet time at the end of the day. You get a true Hawaiian experience with the views and nature all around.
Wamanalo is on the Windward side and an easy drive to the rugged coast and Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. Spectacular drive.
This was a great spot for my wife and I and our 6 month old when I was working for a week on Oahu. A quiet, out of the way spot half a block from the beach. I'd stay here again. Thanks Tai!
