We really enjoy the old-school cottage charm. We especially enjoyed the patio and the wooded area is just beautiful. Proximity the beach canât be beat.
Hidden Gem minutes walk from the beach which saves $$$ on parking fees.
A little dated but for location and price is reasonable.
Outdoor warm shower very welcome after swimming in sea.
Only slight issue is the damp and lack of ventilation.
Even clean unworn clothes ended up smelling of damp, towels did not dry after showers, and house had that âholiday beach home not used over winter dampâ smell (even though we went in July it was not ventilated.
Unit B was very clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. A small back patio area was private and very quiet. Nice restaurants and a small market less than 5 minutes away. Best of all, it was just a couple hundred yards from Nauset Beach!
Pros: proximity to the beach, outdoor patio, privacy snd quiet neighborhood.
Cons: outdate decor, but we knew this going into it, and the inescapable smell of a dank basement. I think a couple dehumidifiers would help and new air conditioners as they too smelled of mold.
This is a well equipped and furnished apartment on the ground level of a two-story house. Everything for a nice beach-stay was provided. The only complaint we had was that the bed was too firm for us. Also, not so bad, was the thudding around upstairs when those tenants arose a 6 am.
We had a nice stay as a family of 4 with two young children. The property was clean and had everything we needed. However, communication was difficult. I tried calling the 1-800 number to get more info on check out procedures, and was unable to get through to anyone. We also did not have phone reception, so my husband and I could not send or receive texts or phone calls unless we drove away from the property.
This house had everything we needed for a great vacation. The location was great. It was a short walk to Nausset Beach down the hill (about 6 minutes). Orleans is centrally locatedclose to many attractions and points of interest. The listing indicates that there is a view of the ocean from the yard. That was not the case. Also the listing indicates that the fridge has an ice maker and it doesnât. These are very minor issues and do not detract from the positive features. The upstairs was also occupied while we were there and we never heard any noise from the other guests. All in all a great place to stay.
Unit is the beasement of a pretty typical Cape Cod Cottage. Was spacious for a 2 bedroom. House was clean but did smell musty...just like most properties of that age on the Cape.
Location was a pretty short walk to one of the better beaches on the Cape. Only downside was our road was very hard to see pulling onto Beach Road and we were occasionally caught in beach traffic just getting back to our rental.
Short drives to Orleans, Chatham, Eastham made ot a pretty convenient location for our family.
The property is built into the side of a hill rendering the unit we occupied a semi basement. The unit had a very musty odor. My spouse noted the carpeting in the bedroom to be wet. This was closest to the wall against the hill.
Our stay was great! The house was very roomy and comfortable. We loved the close proximity to Nauset Beach. It was quiet and secluded. We also liked that Provincetown was only 40 minutes away.
This condo has a huge kitchen for stretching out to cook and to eat. It is located just footsteps from Nauset Beach, one of the best known beaches on the Cape. A good size living room for TV or readers makes evening down time comfortable. Window AC units are available, although we only used the one in the bedroom. A great place to stay for nine nights.
House very clean, no cellphone service mostly and unable to use gas grill. The grill was not clean. Nauset Beach is beautiful and could walk to the beach.
When we went in, it appeared that someone had showered. Wet rug. Wet walls. But otherwise very clean. Lots of room. Kitchen. Washer dryer. Love that the beach is a short walk away
Roomy rental a few steps from gorgeous Nauset Beach
Big kitchen well equipped, washer and dryer, clothesline, WiFi, other well thought out touches. Beautiful Nauset Beach just a 10 min walk away with lifeguards 9-5 and weekend food trucks and early morning yoga. Quiet residential neighborhood.
Fantastic location super close to Nauset beach, our kids loved it. This house is under 10 minutes away from the bay side beaches on the other side of the cape as well as tons of shopping and restaurants. The only minor inconvenience we found was we had no Verizon cell service at the house so we couldnât make calls but the WiFi was great!
Great location - just a bit of a musty or mildew smell
The location can't be beat and the pictures are definitely accurate. The only real draw back was the musty/mildew type smell that was pretty prolific and slightly off-putting.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great! The only minor inconvenience was we had no Verizon cell service at the house to make phone calls but WiFi was great.
