Great location

Property was very nice and located close to most things you would want to do. Unfortunately the restaurant onsite Cinnamons was closed down and the only dining onsite is a overpriced, underperforming restaurant.

Perfect size, great amenities, close proximity to the things we wanted. The check in process was great and easy to use. Paul, our checkin contact, helped us out with any questions we had. Everything was done with an efficient approach. Will definitely stay again!

Great location, well appointed suite

This suite was perfect for our stay with our two kids (9 and 12). The full pullout was easy to work for them and the king bed was great for us. It’s not a spacious suite per se, but the balcony and view of the harbor, the location next to Hilton and it’s amenities, and the well appointed kitchenette made it ideal to access food and multiple swim spots (pools, Hilton’s lagoon and the beach) all by foot. We’d definitely stay here again.

We especially liked our first check-in arrangement...go directly to the room..no waiting in line. Staff so gracious and helpful. Couldnt ask for a better view off the balcony with a joyful expectation of a 'green flash' sunset. Great location a little away from the 'teen' crowd in center Waikiki.

Really enjoyed the place but had no basic amenities thankfully we were able to get some coffee for morning and got a message to buy beach towels for a souvenir. A little disappointed as all of our other locations had amenities such as coffee spices beach chairs and towels along with other items we hadn’t expected. It was a beautiful location to stay otherwise!

The Ilikai Marina view

This was a second choice since the first choice was cancelled by manager of the condo. While the condos were suppose to be similar, there were differences. 1st choice was on the beach, 2nd was 5-10 mins walk. No view of the beach from the 2nd only the marina. There were some visible spots in the carpet and the furniture. The rug needs some upgrading. The place was clean and the air conditioning was working but loudly.

Aloha: we never 'cancelled' the first condo, there were maintenance issues and we then offered her another unit at the same property so she could be accommodated. This was a xmas booking. She was happy to take it, and was under no obligation. We also sent her the specific pix of the unit and she was happy with it. There is absolutely no difference in the views - both have beautiful, full ocean/marina views. The original condo was in the exact same location. and the other unit she had, has the same, exact views. For all other upcoming renters, Please look at all our other reviews...all of our clients really enjoy the property and point out home much they love the views. We're a short stroll to beaches, additional shops & great restaurants Mahalo and Aloha, ray/hawaii rentals.

Overall Great Stay For The Money

We had some initial issues with accessing the property as the email with the door code wasn’t delivered prior to our arrival. This meant we had to book a hotel the first night. The host comped us for the issue and communication was good for the rest of the trip. We were happy to have the space and a place to we could cook meals. For some reason there were only 3 chairs instead of the number in the picture, but we made due with a stool. As stated in other reviews, the bed was uncomfortable. The sleeper sofa was actually very comfortable. There was loud construction noise in the mornings starting around 7:30, but they were doing renovations on the Chart House, which is entirely out of the host’s control. Many things made our stay convenient- like a laundry facility, clothes drying rack, beach chairs, and there were even blow up mattresses. We didn’t use these, but if someone really hated the mattress at least they have options. I would stay at this property again because of the value for the money and the proximity to everything. The view of the fireworks from the balcony and the quick walk to the Hilton Lagoon make it a good option for families. We saw sea turtles and seals at the beach closest to the marina. We also really appreciated the cleaning supplies. It was nice to be able to sweep the floors through the week and keep our space tidy. There were plenty of dishwasher pods for the dishes and even some laundry soap under the sink in the bathroom.

This person reviewed the wrong property..the same person who booked our condo then canceled 2 hours later, 1 day prior to arrival. Studio in a great location

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Check in was easy and the location was great for us. We don't mind a short walk to the beaches--5 mins in one direction and 15 minute walk in the other direction. Walkable to restaurants (Breakfast at Goofy's cafe was awesome) The breakfast at Cinnamons was also very good. The unit is right next to the elevator but we didn't notice it at night. Nice view from the lanai which we enjoyed very much. Plenty of nice quality bath towels and 2 beach towels. Some of the cons: (these are intended to be helpful more than critical!) bathroom is pretty small (OK for 2 people one at a time!) Not a lot of storage for your stuff. There is a dresser and a small closet in the bathroom with 6 hangers (a few more hangers would have been great) Other than salt there's no basic supplies in the kitchen (no spices, sugar, coffee, or coffee filters) No cleaning supplies other than dish soap. None of these things are deal breakers by any means! But the listing could be improved with a few more supplies. Unfortunately we did not find the bed to be comfortable. It was pretty soft and cratered. That might not be a problem for some people, but it is kind of a deal breaker for us. We would definitely stay here again if the bed was replaced, otherwise we would probably try to find another place next time.

Aloha: glad you enjoyed your stay! Our housekeeper replenishes the kitchen supplies continually, which are supplied for all guests. Next time please call us if running low and they would be replenished promptly. Coffee/coffee filters, salt/pepper and spices are in the unit. We also do have cleaning supplies, soaps/dish detergent, sponges, paper towels, brooms, etc. Our housekeepers come in and do cleanings for each arriving guest. hence they carry the heavier cleaning utensils. And all of our guests love out comfortable bed. Hope to welcome you back as repeaters in the near future.

accommodations were great. the issues were with the oven. Someone (management) decided to place a covering over the digital display for the over setting. so, I couldn't bake anything that I had purchases to cook. then, something was not working with the remote control AC . it was extremely warm so i had to leave the patio door open along with wall unit to alternate to keep the room pleasant. but unfortunately it was either to hot or cold.

Aloha: glad you like the condo and the 'accommodations were great'.. but such as low '3-star' rating is not warranted. If there is ever a maintenance issue, we are always available to help/fix as well as local people. All You had to do was call. Sorry to hear about stove not working properly but you should have called us asap and would have been fixed promptly. But you never called? Would thus appreciate changing the rating to a higher star rating. And to all our friends looking at booking, please note that this guest really enjoyed the condo, and only thing wrong stove was not working properly and we would have fixed it promptly, but guest never called. And most all of out other reviews are 4-5 stars/everyone really enjoys our condo Aloha ray/host, dlx oceanview waikiki condos

Great location and property. Beautful views!

Enjoyed all the upgrades the owner did especially with the kitchen. The view from the large balcony is beautiful as you will see the entire Ilikai Marina and lovely sunsets. Perfect for two people as a third adult would make it a little too cozy. Owner is quick to respond with emails which was very appreciated. Location is perfect and not noisy at all. Although you will hear music from the Modern Hotel pool area in the evenings if your on the deck. Beach is a very short walk and less crowded compared to Waikiki. People are friendly so don't be shy. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the shops on Kalakaua but take advantage of the shops and restaurants at the Hilton market across the street.
