Beautiful clean, comfortable & homey

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Vrbo, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the space felt so homey and inviting — it was like stepping at home. Every detail, from the comfortable furnishings to the thoughtful touches around the home, made it clear that a lot of care had gone into creating a welcoming atmosphere.The host was incredibly kind and communicative, making sure I had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there were even little extras like local coffee and cozy blankets that made it feel extra special. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, charming place to stay. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Waking up to a sunrise and Diamond Head

We were very happy with this condo. My wife said "finally, a bathroom with enough towel bars!" The view of Diamond Head was fantastic. The walk to the beach wasn't too far, and we walked to most of the places where we ate. And having a parking pass for the garage included was a huge plus. My only qualm was the air conditioner was loud, and if it wasn't running constantly, it would come on for only 30 seconds and turn off, then repeat. It really should be replaced with a modern unit. I'd still recommend this condo.

Place was great, super clean, close to beach and great views! Only reason I'm dinging this place is due to the smoke alarm beeping constantly, making it annoying to try and go to sleep. I give this a 4.5 for that reason. But definitely recommend this place.

Unbeatable location, fantastic unit

This is an updated unit in the Banyans. It is well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. The view from the Lanai is outstanding, full Diamond Head crater, cityscape and ocean view all in one. The parking is a huge bonus! The property manager was easy to reach and very accommodating. The bed is comfortable. If I had any advice for the property management, there is an outlet behind the couch not working and someone has broken the ground to the lamp off in another outlet. We would 1000% stay in this unit again!

Family friendly spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a week here and is our second time doing so at this property, not Thai specific unit. The Banyon is great, some minor setbacks, the "security" at the pool was more the no fun police, and inconsistent in rules they enforced or made up even if not on the rule board when you walk in. Unit was nicely updated, though already showing some wear and tear on baseboards and flooring. Really wish the owners would provide more than two rolls of toilet paper when units booked for a week or more. Overall not bad at all and great escape during winter.

Great location

I really enjoy our stay. My only complaint is the bathroom needed to be deep cleaned much better than it was. Pool and hot tubs were nice but close at 9pm which seemed a little early. It was within walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants and the beach.

Great stay

We had a great stay here. Easy check in and walking distance to the beach and dinner. Only downside was the elevators. They need more elevators for this place! We frequently had to wait in line to get on, on the way up or wait a few times to go down. Overall a great place to stay!

Comfortable place to stay and easy walking distance to where we wanted to go.

We enjoyed staying in this condo. The property manager was very easy to talk to and made checking in and out easy. It was perfect to walk to restaurants, beach, zoo, and aquarium.

Centrally located wonderful stay

This stay was great! The unit was remodeled relatively recently and was very clean. The location is ~2 blocks from Waikiki beach and 3 blocks from many of the malls in Waikiki. We found the bed and pillows comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools you’d need to cook for yourself. We were glad they also provided beach towels and chairs for our use. Another major bonus was the included parking, which can cost 55$/night elsewhere! Byron was the property manager and he was easy to reach by text or call if we had any questions.

Comfortable place

This condo was a good size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child). The kids slept well in the pull out bed. The kitchen had all utensils needed, you just bring the food. There was enough room for us. There are not a lot of drawers to store your clothes but there are hangers in the closet. We didn't need the drawers, we kept our things in our luggage. Waikiki beach and the strip is a few mins walking distance. We always found parking in the parking lot.

Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was recently renovated, so new finishes throughout. It was clean, and Byron was very responsive and helpful. The location is wonderful - very close to the beach as well as shops and restaurants.

Great location

Great location — short walk to Waikiki Beach, shopping, restaurants — lots to do and see. Parking garage for our rental car was handy — drove to North Shore a couple of times, absolutely beautiful. Nice view of Diamondhead and ocean from condo — enjoyed sitting on lanai w tea every morning watching the neighborhood wake up — with waves and boats in the distance.

There were a few times the pool was closed when we wanted to use it but overall liked the pool, hot tubs, sauna and the space for grilling. The elevators were very slow and one was not working most of the time.

We liked the location and the size of the space. We were able to have meals together and also loved the grills! The pool area, sauna and outdoor space was nice. The pool was closed during the day a few times we wanted to use it but overall we enjoyed the amenities.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good position, good views of Diamond Head and the beach, close to the main beach and main street, only a 3 minute walk. Air con needs replacing, unit was noisy and filter vent kept falling off, and fan speed didn't work across 3 speeds, only medium speed. Unit clean, communication good, lifts are very slow, sometimes 5 to 10mins waiting for a lift. Also a kettle could not be located.

Nice place

The place was clean and modern. Could have used a little TLC in a few spots but no more than you'd expect from a rental. The view was great even with a few large buildings in the way. Just a sorry walk from the beach and good shopping.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a very pleasant stay. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and straightforward. I truly appreciated that there wasn’t a laundry list of check out procedures that occurs with other rentals. Property is a 5-10 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and nearby shops- very convenient. The free parking was a big plus. Nice-sized kitchen with full-size stove, oven microwave, refrigerator and other appliances. Keep in mind that items such as spices (except salt, pepper and some sugar) and condiments are not furnished if this is a norm for you. Because of this, we did not cook as much as desired.Bedroom and living area were comfortable and adequate. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas!Though not the fault of the unit or rental company, be aware that there may be disruptions due to multiple sirens/emergencies in the neighborhood. If you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs.Rating is four stars because again it was a nice stay. However, the cleanliness and condition, specifically the bathroom and kitchen appliances (fingerprints) could be improved. There is paint peeling in the bathroom and the bathroom fan has a large collection of dust in the vent. Bathtub appears to be slightly older with some wear and tear.Although we probably would not rent this particular unit again, we would gladly rent with Captain Cook again!
