Haven on Earth

This little condo is a haven! The thoughtful beach decor and clean linens with mostly what we needed in the kitchen made this a cozy week near the beach. The highlight of this place is the easy and close access to being on the beach for sunrises and sunsets. The pool with cabana tables a plus although it was a bit chilly out for us to swim, although other guest’s children enjoyed it. Also, the management helped us navigate a couple things quickly. My only suggestion is to have the outdoor patio cleaned. We plan to return and hope to stay here again.

Perfect down time!

The condo is so inviting with the decor, cozy beds, and cleanliness. We were able to wind down and enjoyed out time sitting and walking on the beach.

Great location

We made a quick trip down over spring break & purposely chose this place as we wanted to avoid traffic and crowds. The location was perfect! The beach was not crowded at all. The board walk is in great shape and made it an easy walk to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this unit, it was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We were on a girls trip, so the unit was perfect for 4 ladies. The access and location to the beach, is the best kept secret in Port A! And we witnessed the Pool and grounds being maintained, daily, which is not always the case. Much appreciated and plan to return soon!

The location is very convenient both to Port Aransas, Flour Bluff, and the free parking area on the Beach. We have stayed at the Grand Caribbean 4 times now in the last 5 years. Missed one year due to Hurricane Harvey. We like the Condo and plan to keep leasing it as long as we can.

Great access to beach. Only drawback we found was trying to rent a golf cart being that far out. Any suggestions appreciated because they was literally the only thing that could possibly keep us from staying again.

Great condo for families!

My daughters and I stayed for 5 nights with my 2 granddaughters and had a wonderful time! We prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of party life, so this place was perfect for that! The pool was never crowded and the beach access was easy with plenty of room for lots of families to set up "camp" for the day on the beach with no fear of leaving items out while going back to the room for lunch or naps! Our particular room at the Grand Caribbean was very nicely equipped with everything we needed and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable....even the 2 twin air mattresses for my 4 year old granddaughters were very comfortable! The ONLY issue we had was that the living room tv did not work after everything we tried including calling Spectrum and troubleshooting. Not a big deal at all since most of our time was spent at the beach! Great location and we will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay at Island Retreat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy staying at Grand Caribbean. This was our 5th time, but 1st time staying in G1004-Island Retreat. The access to the pool and beach is so convenient! This specific condo has the pool right outside your patio, so you can even put the kids down for a nap while having a swim. The rooms and common areas were clean and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds in the laundry room. The refrigerator would not cool when we got there, but that sort of thing is not always in control. They were quick to get a new one ordered and shipped overnight. Starkey even dropped off bags of ice for us to refill our ice chests. The coffee maker was broken as well, but who knows what guests might have done that before us. We just bought a new one and left it there for future tenants. Enjoy! I'd stay here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place at Grand Caribbean.

The kitchen was well stocked for both inside or outside dining. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Plenty of closet space plus wonderful large storage in laundry area. The patio was nice but perhaps could have used n updated table and chairs but it did work. Interior furniture nice but could use a more comfortable chair. Again it all worked and was very nice. The best part was the ease and access to the beach. Also, the upkeep of the common areas was very nice. Overall a great place to rent.

Nice Place !!!! BUT.....

Property was great, but Master bedroom ceiling fan was very noisy and we called property manager about it on the 1st night that we stayed and they sent out a person to take a look at it and said that it need to be replaced. But he did tighten something up to make it better, 6 hours later the problem came back and we called on our 2nd day and manager stated it wouldn't be fixed during our stay. Besides that the internet/ wifi was crap at best and master T.V. would not work (Hardly) With the fan problem and T.V. issue Master Bedroom was for sleeping and not relaxing. Besides those 2.5 issues place was nice
