Une belle maison juste à côté du centre-ville de Bar Harbor. Cette maison est également très proche des points chauds touristiques comme Acadia National Park et Sand Beach. Non seulement c'est une maison magnifique, c'est aussi très pratique. Il se trouve à une heure de route de l'aéroport international de Bangor et à seulement 20 km de l'aéroport de Hancock County-Bar Harbor. Cette maison comprend également 6 chambres avec 2 lits king-size, 2 lits queen-size et 4 lits doubles avec 6 salles de bains et une télévision. Il offre également un salon spacieux, une élégante salle à manger, une cuisine et un porche dans la cour avant pour se détendre et profiter de l'air frais.

I had a great time at Catherine's home. A lot of room for a big group. It's a perfect location - an short and easy walk to town and all that Bar Harbor has to offer. I would stay again!

Almost perfect,,

Excellent host as they flexed around our dates and were extremely helpful and responsive. Plenty big enough for a large family. Perfect location. Only would have liked to have better heating and shower heads but other than that, it would have been perfect. I would be back.

The house was very close to town and we walked everywhere. It was really nice that all rooms had their own bathroom. We were traveling with my family and my brother’s family so it was a great space for all of us

perfect location

The property is huge, there are 6 bedrooms, and every bedroom has its own bath. The house is clean. Most importantly, the location is so good, we walk to bar harbor every evening, it was fun, and took less than 10 minutes, but it was so quiet during the night, since the house is on a very small quiet street. I would stay here again, if we ever come back. thank you.

Mostly positive and pleasant!

Wonderful to have all en-suite bedrooms, and we could walk to everything Bar Harbor has to offer. There were discrepancies with the online description — fireplaces do not work — but everything else was consistent. Cleaners could have done a better job.

Epic Week

We were in Bar Harbor to celebrate the end of my husbands epic bike ride across the USA. The house was located within walking distance of everything we needed. We had a large group of family and friends and everyone felt comfortable, not too crowded. Brand new grill on the deck. All beds were made when we arrived and there was more than enough linens for everyone. Beautiful house on a great street in a great town. Easy to communicate with Catherine, she was always very quick to answer any question/request we had.

Great location; deferred maintenance

The house is in a great location. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants, and the street itself is quiet. All the bedrooms had an attached bathroom. There were some deferred maintenance issues that are not pictured in the listing (chipped and peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, stained couch, chipped tub enamel, etc). We stayed in mid-October. If you are staying in the cooler months, get detailed instructions for downstairs heating. We couldn't quite get it to work. The upstairs ductless split system worked well. If you book here, anticipate getting check-in instructions just before check-in time (4:00) as opposed to a couple days beforehand. We got ours 45 minutes before check-in time. We were concerned, and neither I nor VRBO were able to get in touch with the owner. Once we were checked in, the owner promptly responded to messages.

Beautiful house, perfect location

Amazing house for our large family. The location can't be beat--minutes to the village green, the waterfront, the sandbar. Easy to pop by between lunch and a walk without feeling like you're trekking back and forth. Only complaint is some kind of of miscommunication with the hosts. The listing included two rooms with two double beds each but one of those rooms turned out to be another king bed instead. When I messaged the hosts, they said that the listing showed that, but I double checked and it didn't. After that, the hosts didn't reply at all, including when I messaged to point out a broken bottle that someone left in the wine rack. Not sure what happened there!

Perfect House in Bar Harbor, close to everything!

We are a group of 8 women who went to Bar Harbor for a fun getaway. The house is a charming, large home within walking distance to all the stores and restaurants in downtown Bar Harbor. It's on a quiet one-way street conveniently located. The porch is large, the bedrooms are large and roomy and there's a bathroom in every bedroom! First floor: one queen bedroom suite. Second floor: one king suite with a parlor; one room with two queen beds; one room with one queen. Third floor: one king suite with huge bedroom and bathroom; one bedroom suite with two queens. The kitchen was a little tight but got the job done. We cooked a few nights at home, cooked breakfast before leaving for the day. There is a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. There's a grill on the deck with a large table if you want to eat al fresco. The dining room fit all 8 of us and the living room had plenty of seating. Overall, the ideal stay! We contacted the owner about the oven not working one night, and she was receptive and came over the next day with a repairman. (It worked for them the next day.) There was also a smoke detector that needed attention and she got right on that too. She listened to our concerns and took care of them.

Close to all the restaurants and shops!

The house in a great location-- easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. The house was previously a B&B/Inn, so each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom also has an window air conditioning unit. It's great for big groups or multiple families. Also has a nice deck with a grill, but with so many restaurants, you'll probably want to eat out vs. cook.

Great Location

We were only two blocks from the main street in Bar Harbor and even closer to several restaurants and a grocery store. Also easy access to Acadia Park and other points of interest on MDI. Lots of room and much quieter than we expected.
