Thank you for staying with us. We’re glad you enjoyed the cottage, the lake views, and the sunsets. For future guests, we do want to clarify the context behind this three-star rating. The primary criticism was not that the property was misrepresented, but that the guests preferred a different interior design style. Our wall colors, furnishings, layout, and décor are all clearly shown in the listing photos prior to booking. After their stay, they also sent us extensive redesign suggestions and even AI-generated images showing how they would personally change the living room and bedroom. We always welcome constructive feedback, but we feel it is important for prospective guests to understand that this rating was largely based on personal décor preferences rather than the cottage being materially different from what was advertised. We’re pleased they stated that they “really enjoyed” their stay and described the location and lake views as fantastic.
