Danielâs place is really nice and convenient with easy access to busses and trains. The property is clean and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen with all the things youâll need to cook meals or bring takeout home.
There were 6 adults in our group and we were all very comfortable (not crammed in). Two full baths and one 1/2 bath were perfect for us.
The place is in a really neat neighborhood that hops on the weekend and a grocery store is a 2 min walk from the front door. Itâs a 25-30 min bus trip from the tourist stuff like Westminster; London is a biiiiig town.
All things being equal Iâd be more than happy to say at Danielâs place again.
We loved it. Lots of good Restaurants nearby. Short walk from the train station. About 10-15 minutes trainride to central London.
Beds were good, clean apartment in a quiet area, private little garden if you want to get some sun.
Firstly, shoes were not to be worn in the house. It was dismissed as something to do with âkids stayingâ. Perhaps it is a cultural misunderstanding but I find this to be incredibly unwelcoming and a trifle rude.
The windows in the lounge and main bedroom were not permitted to be opened. Again dismissed as a problem with a previous guest we were advised that it âwould just be easierâ if we didnât open these windows. We stayed during a period of - literally - record breaking summer temperatures (40°+C/104°+F) and the inability to access fresh and cooler air at night made relaxing or sleeping impossible. The air became stale & oppressive without âthrough-flowâ. In accordance with government advice for managing the heatwave conditions, we eventually resolved to open the windows, regardless, only to find that the owner had locked the lounge room window shut; furthermore, rubber seals had been applied further preventing the window being opened.
The ground floor door with direct access to the outdoor area was described as difficult to use and âit would be easier if we didnât open itâ thus requiring guests to climb the stairs to the lounge room and then descend the outdoor stairs to the outdoor area. Keeping this door closed further reduced our ability to ventilate the house
The shower in the main bedroom en-suite was unusable - it did not drain properly and would have quickly overflowed into the bathroom and bedroom had we continued to use it.
The owner arrived unannounced mid-stay to return cleaned laundry, to storage inside the house, for future guests. This is not neither appropriate nor acceptable.
Both showers lacked anywhere to store toiletries and soap. There were no hand towels or flannels (face washers) provided. There were not enough dinner bowls.
The apartment is well presented with three good size bedrooms and plenty of storage. The kitchen is large, functional and visually appealing equipped with good quality appliances. The washer/dryer works well. The apartment is located in a renewed, safe and vibrant area with plenty of restaurant choices and close to transport.
Loved staying here, getting to Clapham Junction was a quick walk, several delicious restaurants at the end of the street, along with a little bakery. Nice having 2 full bathrooms and a half. Washing machine was a blessing too! Lovely backyard for relaxing. Communication with owner was good, he was quick to respond. I would stay here again.
Our family of six really enjoyed our stay here. Super convenient access to the train station to get where you are going. Daniel met us at check in and walked us through the house showing us all the features.
We had a great stay! The house was perfect. The house was super close to clapham junction train station, a very quick train ride to London Victoria and the sites.

Really enjoyed this flat, great location, nice backyard, kitchen, bathrooms. Was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was fine to make some great meals. Would definitely rent again.
Well appointed and close to St Johns Hill and Clapham Junction
Daniel was very helpful with our transportation to and from the airport as well as always a text away if a problem arose. The flat was in great condition and so convenient for transport. We can't wait to return to London! Thanks Daniel.
