Ce pavillon d'été spacieux situé dans la communauté de snowline peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes (4 chambres, 5 lits, 2 canapés-lits) et dispose de 3 salles de bains. Immense maison de style lodge avec 2 grands espaces communautaires dont un séparé des espaces chambre. Juste en face de l'étang de pêche, de la piscine (saisonnier - journée commémorative ouverte - fête du travail) et du terrain de jeux. 4 chambres et 3 bains! A l'étage, 1 chambre avec lit king, 1 chambre avec lit queen et une chambre avec lits superposés jumeaux. En bas est un ensemble de lits superposés queen dans la 4ème chambre! Canapé-lit gigogne dans le salon. Canapé convertible dans le 2e salon. 2 espaces de vie séparés, 2 cheminées, bar et baby-foot, grande télévision à écran plat 1080p / lecteur blue ray dans le salon principal (* notez qu'il n'y a pas de satellite ou de câble). Grande cuisine entièrement équipée avec tous les appareils et machine à expresso! Barbecue à gaz sur un grand pont avant qui surplombe l'étang et les commodités de la ligne de neige (piscine, terrain de baseball, chaussures de cheval et aire de jeux impressionnante), foyer dans la grande cour arrière.

We loved this roomy home in a gated community. Colin was extremely responsive with answers to our questions. The hot tub was a big plus. Across the street is a restaurant/bar that serves amazing pizza (as a native Chicagoan, I don't say this lightly). Great location if you'd like to visit Mount Baker as well as many great and beautiful hikes.

Great House, Great Location

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The location was perfect for hiking Mt. Baker, and the area was very cute. House is a bit dated as other reviewers mentioned, but everything was clean and all of the extra amenities (cookware/family games/hot tub/grill) were appreciated and made the stay super enjoyable. Host was very responsive, and we would definitely stay here again.

As advertised, this house was a great fit for my group of 8 adults. Plenty of space and ample bedrooms. The kitchen was also very well stocked for preparing our own meals. Colin was communcative before the stay everything went smoothly during the stay.

Lovely spot in the Nooksack valley. Easy access to ski area and hiking, mini-grocery, a restaurant or 3 and a bakery! Comfy beds, hot tub is actually hot, everything you need. Extensive movie and video game collections. Nearest satellite TV to catch the game is across the street at Chair 9 :-)

Excellent Stay

Property was as described, older but clean and everything worked great. Cabin is in an excellent location, near the playground and pond. Hiking around Artist Point was fantastic, with gorgeous mountain views all around.

Mountain getaway

We had a fantastic stay in the mansion, it was the perfect place to chill out and comfortably crash after a day in the mountains. The snowline comunity never disappoints. Everyone in our party, including the kiddos loved our stay.

Fun Mt. Baker Getaway!

This was our second time staying at this property. We stayed with a group of friends - both adults and kids. The house is well equipped and comfortable. It is also very close to tons of activities and in a great private neighborhood!

I and a group of fellow hikers stayed here two nights. It basically worked out fine, although this is not a house designed to handle crowds, especially with small kitchen and dining area and divided gathering spaces. Also few opening windows for ventilation.. Two bedrooms have bunks; two have larger beds. To accommodate 10 you must use the couch in each of two gathering spaces (one was a very uncomfortable, "well-worn" couch). General atmosphere: A time-worn family vacation home ... cozy and comfy but definitely not hotel chic!. Location, with view onto the community pond on one side and the surrounding mountains on the other, is great! I do have to add that the door code mechanism was problematic and several of us spent 3 hours locked out and unable to get the code to work one afternoon. With no phone reception, efforts to reach VRBO customer service failed. The system seemed to reset itself after several hours. We also had considerable difficulty locking the door using this key code mechanism upon leaving for a day of hiking. We recommend installation of a new or different system. Overall a "Good", but not "Excellent" lodging. Communication with owner prior to stay was very good.

We appreciate the feedback and want to make sure we address each of your concerns for future potential renters.   - Kitchen & Dining: While the kitchen is original to the house, it has successfully hosted Thanksgiving for up to 18 people for 15 years. The listing photos also accurately reflect its size. For dining, we provide extra table leaves, as well as an extra expandable table, folding chairs, and an outdoor 6-8 person deck table to accommodate larger groups.   - Sleeping Arrangements: The house features 4 bedrooms that sleep 10 people (including only 2 single beds) and a nearly new hide-a-bed in the living room. While I agree the 2nd sofa is not ideal, if everyone wants their own bed, it is there as an option.   - Ventilation: 24 of the 34 windows in the house open and there are several fans the help move the air. We have found that opening even just a few windows in the evening provides effective cooling, provided they are closed during the day to trap the cool air.   - Access & Support: While we haven't had issues with the door mechanism previously, please note that my phone number and email were provided prior to arrival for immediate assistance. VRBO cannot assist with hardware, but I could have helped immediately had I been contacted once you connected to the house WiFi. We stand by the honesty of our listing, but if you feel any information or photos were missing or misleading, please let us know. Thanks so much for the review!

Great family vacation place

This is a great house for a large family group including kids. Located across from a pond and playground and a short walk to the river. So many amenities to keep kids occupied; fussball, board and video games, books etc. So many great hiking opportunities nearby ant Mt. Baker. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place!

Girls Weekend

We stayed the weekend here for a girls weekend. The house is within walking distance of Chair 9. The hot tub was wonderful and there were lots of games and movies to take advantage of in the rain!

Really great for families

The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Loved the park across the street and the private, BEAUTIFUL neighborhood. Great location with so much to explore in the area. The spa area was so nice, and loved the play room area that separated the loud kids playing from the adults. The only negative was the house needed a deep clean. Areas of the home needed cobwebs dusted and floors and corners vacuumed. Loved it, and want to come again!

Great Spot for Families!

My family (including siblings and their kids) stayed for a weekend and it was great! The kids LOVED it, the space was huge and the back deck was the perfect place to relax and bbq. There were so many fun games and activities for the kids to discover, and lots of space for them to play, which made it much easier on the rest of us :p And lots of bedrooms/places to sleep as well. Colin was easy to communicate with and check-in was really straightforward.

Great host!

Good communication and perfect place for a non formal or family gathering. There was a little hiccup with check in procedure and unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working but Colin was all over it and helped us out. Would recommend.

This was the perfect place after hiking. So comfortable and with so many provided activities (games, puzzels, books, movies, video games). The owner was also very reponsive and nice. My kid is already talking about going back.

Huge house. Great location.

Myself & 3 other senior ladies stayed here for 3 days to hike Mt Baker area. We loved the view of the pond and convenience to hiking. Not much more to add from what other reviewers have already said - it’s all true! We had some confusion about key pick up, but the owner was very responsive and issue was resolved quickly.

It's a very cozy cabin in a lovely community with great amenities. We enjoyed taking our kids to the park and pond across the street as well as the hiking trail down to the river. Pizza at the Chair 9 restaurant nearby was excellent. We cooked most meals in the kitchen. It was very well stocked as far as cookware goes but expect to bring any food items including spices and cooking oil you might need. The house has nice gathering spaces but the kitchen and dinning room were a bit tight for our big goup of 10 people. Bathrooms were nicely updated. Beds were fine but pillows were flat so recommend bringing your own.

Nice large home

Nice large home in Deming. Great location for hiking or skiing in the Mt Baker area. The home easily accommodated our group of 7. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well provisioned with plenty of items, although some of the pans should be removed as the non-stick is loose and flaking. Check in was easy, but be sure to review the online house information using the link in the welcome email. The house is nice, could use some updating. The location is very nice and quiet. We would stay here again.

The only thing slightly negative I can say is the required clean up and disposal of garbage/recycling with the threat of fines. Believe a cleaning fee was included in the price. We enjoyed the stay though. A guest came and the owner was able to remotely open the gate, which was nice.( We were not back yet from sightseeing)

Thanks for the feedback Nancy. The only reason I had to put the responsibility back on the renters for garbage was because when I didn't, nobody would take the time to separate out the recycling properly. Unfortunately this county doesn't have "all in one" recycling. If I did include the sorting and disposal of garbage in the cleaning service, I'd just have to charge a higher cleaning fee. This way, at least the renter can choose if they want to pay for it or not. Glad you enjoyed it otherwise! -Colin

Wonderful Summer Lodge

We had a wonderful time at the summer lodge! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. Supplies were well-stocked and the house was exceptionally clean. The place is a little dated, but that's part of its charm. It is an old-school ski 'cabin'. The rec room was huge and had an xbox and a fun video game setup at the bar. It's a great home to take kids to - the playground is across the street as well as the fishing pond and the tennis/pickleball courts are up the street. The neighborhood is really safe for biking and walking. Overall - it's a great place to stay!
