ETNA HOME villa de luxe

Etna Home est situé à Nicolosi, au cœur du parc de l'Etna, à l'ombre du plus haut volcan actif d'Europe, parmi les pinèdes et les magnifiques vignobles.

La villa, construite en bois et en pierre de lave, est entourée d'un jardin multicolore qui met en valeur l'extraordinaire végétation typique de l'Etna. A l'intérieur, il est équipé de tout le confort avec des chambres climatisées, des appareils pour tous les besoins et la télévision par satellite dans plusieurs chambres. L'endroit idéal pour les familles (surtout avec beaucoup d'enfants!) où trouver beaucoup d'espace et un peu de détente.

La structure est complétée par trois chalets en bois caractéristiques, où vous pouvez accueillir jusqu'à 9 amis pendant vos vacances.

Equipée d'une piscine, d'un solarium et d'un court de tennis privé, l'Etna Home a son fleuron dans la grande terrasse panoramique qui, au sud-est, offre une vue imprenable sur toute la côte ionienne, tandis qu'au nord-ouest, elle offre une vue spectaculaire œil de l'Etna.

The house was big and well-equipped. The host recommended places to go and helped organise a vineyard tour which was really good. There were a couple of issues with the electricity supply but the host was easy to contact to help fix it. There were 12 of us in the house bedrooms and the huts and all were comfortable. The views over the coast were really nice.

Amazing Villa

15 of us had a great time in the villa, with plenty of space for everyone. Minmo was incredibly helpful and responsive and helped make our stay really easy and fun.

Charlotte and her young group were very nice and friendly. Despite they were a big group (15 people) the villa was quite clean when they left and above all they respected perfectly the garbage planning that is very important for us and for the cleaning day after departure of guest. We would welcome them back again.

Loved the villa and the host was amazing - really made us feel welcome and went out of his way to help us settle in. Missing the views already.

We were a large family of 12 that we then were joined by an additional 4 for a total of 16 people. The house was very spacious with lots of room for everyone. Mimo was very attentive to all our questions. We have lots of family that lives in Nicolosi so it worked out to be our meeting place with it's beautiful views. Thank you Mimo for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Best Vacation Ever!

Where to begin with this property! The house was beautiful! There were six of us, off to a family vacation in Sicily, where my husband's side of the family is from. With our two sons and my husband's two sisters, we enjoyed the house, explored Sicily, and just relaxed. We ate in most nights, and Mimo was always available for help with dinner reservations or recommendations. The pool was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the weather was great. We will be back!

Wonderful! !!!

This home was beyond lovely !! Mimo was the best owner we have met and went waayyyyyy above and beyond when we needed him. He walked us thru the entire property and showed us everything we could possibly need, disappointingly the weather was very chilly so we didnt get to use the wonderful pool area, so we are just going to have to go back again. He gave us wonderful direction to sites, an amazing restaurant near the house, he even went out of his way to our rescue when we had a little fender bender with our rental car. if you stay here you will not be disappointed. The house is exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated and plenty of room to relax in the evening. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home.

Very disappointing

Let me start with the positives. Miimmo, the owner is a really nice host. His communication is quick and he will certainly give his expert advice on what to do. This trip was a delayed birthday celebration for a group of 14 of us. Three different families, with kids aged 3-17. The weather was fantastic. glorious sunshine and never below 32 degrees, so we got lucky in this respect. So the main issues we had with the villa iare that the photos are outdated and they do not mirror the state of the Villa in its current state. In the pictues on the website, everything looks clean and relatively well kept and new. It was far from it. Three people fell off collapsed chairs that were in an awful state. Two also fell through collapsed sun loungers. People were covered blue paint after sitting on a couple of rickety chairs. Most of the furniture was repaired poorly with silicone and ended up collapsing or breaking. The children's swings were rusty and did not have swings, therefore were not usable. The bedding when we arrived was dirty, with insects, hair and cobwebs in all the rooms. Much of the crockery was broken and deperately needs updating. Air conditioning in two of the rooms did not work so we were left sweltering at night. We did communicate this to Mimmo but he did not give a sufficient response so we were left to make do. On top of all this, Mimmo accused us of breaking two umbrellas that were already broken and had holes in them. He charged us £180 to have them replaced when they were actually already broken and not usable. When we were checking out, he was more interested that we had to pay departure taxes for each person than listen to our frustrations. The tennis courts too were not usable in the night (best time to play due to the heat) because the floodlights did not work. When we arrived, the kids were desperate to go in the pool but the pool was totally green and not at all appealing. This was fixed for the following day but we lost a day's swimming. So all in all, I would say the Villa is in desperate need of updating as there are so many things that need repairing or replacing. The photos need updating to reflect the Villa's current state. Despite all this we made the most of our stay and the trip to Taromina was a highlight. We ate at some very nice restaurants too. A car is essential though but the roads are very difficult to drive on. I think in hindsight, we would not have booked this Villa but we went on pre-pandemic reviews.

We have been hosts for a long time and the reviews on our villa have always been positive. For the first time here is a bad review, it's Sunny's. How is it possible? The answer is simple. When we pointed out to Sunny and her family at checkout that they had broken an umbrella, telling them they obviously had to pay for it, Sunny immediately threatened to write a bad review. It is true that one of the two large sun umbrellas in the solarium did not work but the other was fully functional and Sunny and her group broke the good one, leaving it open on a day of strong wind. We advised them to close awnings and umbrella in case of wind but they didn't. It is normal that if at check-in the umbrella works and at check-out the umbrella is destroyed, the guest must pay for it. This news has destabilized Sunny and her group who, even before coming, had shown that they wanted to save on everything, even possibly on the rental of the car. Sunny's group was so "drawn" to spend even on simple things that they didn't even go to visit Etna (the first place of interest for our guests), a few kilometers away, saying that the cable car was too expensive. Basically they spent a whole week in the pool with the only exception of a trip to Taormina. This suggests Sunny's persistence in the negative judgment at the time we charged him the cost of repairing the umbrella. Charge that has been regularly reviewed and approved by the VRBO staff. This is to make it clear that it was not an injustice. Speaking of the Villa. We are renovating the furniture from the garden, including swings. Right after Sunny left, all the new furniture arrived. On the cleanliness of the rooms, as stated in all the previous reviews, there is no doubt. The villa is always clean when new guests arrive. But Sunny needed something else to criticize ... Speaking of cleanliness, Sunny & C. left the villa very dirty and messy. Finally the swimming pool. It wasn't green, isn't it, it was simply slightly opaque at check-in for the Etna sand, which we obviously cleaned up promptly the next day. We are sorry for how unfairly Sunny wrote, only and exclusively because we told him to pay for the damage caused. He also warned us: "if you charge me for this umbrella I will write a bad review". And so he did. If we hadn't charged him for the damage he would have said everything was ok ...

Très belles vacances entre amis dans cette villa !

Propriété idéale pour des vacances en famille nombreuse ou avec des amis, chacun bénéficie de son espace tout en ayant des pièces à vivre chaleureuses avec une vue imprenable sur Catane. La communication avec le propriétaire était parfaite du check in jusqu’au check out, une très belle expérience.

Un séjour formidable au pied de l'Etna

Notre groupe de 11 personnes a passé un séjour formidable dans cette villa. Tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes. La vue sur Catania, de jour comme de nuit, et la vue sur l'Etna étaient formidables. La piscine et le court de tennis nous ont bien diverti. Nous avons pu aller à pied dans plusieurs commerces et restaurants de Nicolosi en empruntant le sentier adjacent à la villa.

Group of exceptional, nice and always smiling friends. Upon check out the villa was in perfect condition. Fred and all the other guests perfectly complied with all the instructions we gave him upon arrival, especially the separate collection of garbage. These Canadian guys really are the ideal model of guests. We look forward to hosting them again in the future.

Great Stay

I stayed here with my family (8 adults) at the end of May. The house was more than big enough for all of us, it was very clean and the views and location was stunning. We were a little unlucky with the weather but there was more than enough for us to do. Mimmo was the perfect host, he gave us a tour at the beginning and showed us everything in the house and gave us his number. He helped us organise a day trip to Taormina (which I recommend). He always replied quickly to any questions we had, booked us a table at a lovely restaurant he recommended and also helped us order Pizza. Overall it was a fantastic week thanks to Mimmo and the great Etna House, I would definitely recommend.

Perfect family holiday

We had a fantastic family holiday. The house and especially the garden, are very spacious. Paolo is a perfect host and a very good tennis trainer, we took some lessons with him, which was a lot of fun. He also guided us during a very nice tour through Catania. We even had a chef cook us diner (at the house) the last evening, which was delicious! I would recommend this house to anyone.

Amazing place and great attention by the owners

We had an incredible stay! The house is so big and comfortable for big or small groups and fully equipped. The bedrooms are neat and clean, with ac for the hot days and heater for the cold although we didn’t need to use any. We enjoyed the pool and terrace with amazing views as well as the living room and indoor terrace and the barbacue. We were 10 people and so much space for all to relax and spend time together. Paolo and Alessia are great hosts and promptly assisted us with any questions. Easy check in and check out and very accommodating to our needs. No words to describe the place and the amazing time we had there. Thank you, gracias, Grazie!

Vi hade en fantastisk semester och huset var precis enligt beskrivningen.

Patti var en utmärkt hyresvärd och var oss behjälplig på alla sätt och vis. Det enda lilla negativa vi har att anmärka på var att Wifin inte fungerade så bra. Det var dålig teckning samt långsam uppkoppling. I övrigt är vi riktigt nöjda med fastigheten samt semestern i sin helhet.
