We spent a few nights after Christmas in Rome. The location was amazing for seeing all the major sights. We even walked to the free New Year's Eve concert at Circus Maximus. The apartment had great space and amenities. Highly recommend using their car service from the airport. It made check in and finding the front door!
Great location - located near Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. The apartment is about halfway between Vatican City, the Roman Forum and Colosseum attractions, and the Roma Termini train station. Quiet neighborhood - not a lot of city noise or loud disruptions during our stay. Amazing food nearby - Antico Forno Roscioli bakery, La Romana gelateria, Osteria da Fortunata, and Ristorante Bernini were a few of our favorites. Good open communication with the host - they did message us to make sure check in went well and that we were enjoying our stay. We did not recall seeing which floor the apartment was located on and could not remember if the interior stairs were disclosed on the listing. The apartment was located on the 2nd level (3rd floor) and there are a set of stairs inside leading up to the master. Otherwise, a great pick!
Family of three with an 8 year old. Loved the charming layout - has everything you need in an amazing location. The entrance, as youâve read, is down a short alley where some garbage cans are housed but it does not take away from the charm of the apartment or location. The check in and check out process is easy and smooth. We loved our stay here.
This was a great location for exploring Rome with friends! We went with friends and this was the perfect location as we truly had separate spaces to sleep and two bathrooms. No one was ever on top of each other. Check in and out was also super easy.
The four of us really enjoyed this apartment. Communication could not have been better. Check-in and check-out was super easy. It's a cozy clean place. The "don't miss" sites are within walking distance. Pedestrian bridge to Trastevere is an easy walk. Good restaurants everywhere.
Very central, close to Campo Di Fiori. Very narrow staircase, no elevator. Apartment is on 2nd and 3rd floor. One bedroom with bathroom on 3rd floor, second bed is a sofa bed in the living room on the 2nd floor.
Very nice place, nice location! Easy to communicate with host. Beware of stairs, and more stairs. I didnât realize how bad that was until lifting my heavy suitcases up 3 flights. Male Host wouldnât help. Loved the washing machine. !!
Very good all around except we were not expecting so many stairs at the unit. People with mobility issues would not do well there at all.
Very little of Rome seemed more than a 15 or 20 minute walk.
All good.
The location of this rental was perfect. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and was surrounded by wonderful places to eat, grab a caffe or gelato, and shop.
The check-in was simple and they even set up our transportation from the airport, which was wonderful since we were first time travelers to Rome/Italy. It removed some of the anxiety from traveling. The rental was very clean. The owners were very responsive to questions, couldnât ask for better hosts.
If you are looking for the right place to stay in Rome, this is it!
If you plan to stay here know there are alot of stairs. I did not realize this until the week before our planned arrival. While the location was good, it was a little hard to find and impossible to get an uber
Or taxi to pick up from. You are right off a street with many shops, grocery stores, cafes. Campo di Fiori is just a quick walk. There is also a luggage storage place very close which is actually where you pick up check in information. The apartment is down a small alley that was filled with stinky trash cans and I believe that was the smell permeating the apt on some days. The unit was clean and had all the basic necessities. Note: there is a washer no dryer which I now realize is typical. We booked through VRBO and hadnât received check in information before we left the states. That was unnerving. All the other places I have booked through VRBO the welcome packet arrived 3 days in advance.
My husband and I spent a delightful week in Rome, comfortably ensconced at the Piazza dei Satiri apartment. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for the week. The refrig is small but we weren't doing major cooking and there is a second upstairs. The hot water tanks are small but if you shower in under 7 minutes you should be good. The bed could have been a bit softer and I wish it was a single king mattress as opposed to two together. The apartment was clean but is ready for a fresh coat of paint. The most unpleasant part was the approach to the appartment down an alley between two restaurant kitchens with employees smoking, full smelly trashcans and a really grimy walkway that needs to be pressure washed. Having said all that, the linens were decent, the living room super comfy and the location perfect. We were steps from the best pizza -Riscioli, the best gelato - Fatamorgana, good shopping, Piazza di Fiori market place (fresh fruit in the a.m.) and well positioned to walk to all the major sites.
Private location and quiet for good nightâs sleep. Host was very responsive to requests and key retrieval from luggage storage business was just steps from the apartment. A+ lodging experience.
This was our third time staying at this property. We have always had great experiences. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We really appreciate having two bathrooms and a desk for working (regrettably) in the bedroom upstairs. The location is great. Communication was easy, as always.
Great location and cute apartment. We stayed with four of us which was tight having our the sofa bed but we spent most of our time out and about so that was fine. The mattress in the main bed is actually two twins pushed together. Overall great stay!
