Schöne ruhige Villa

Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit viel Charme, toller Raumaufteilung und super Terrasse. Leider war Sat TV nicht vorhanden, was im Urlaub nicht unbedingt stört, aber die Beschreibung sollte geändert werden. Die Lage ist optimal und der Aussenbereich war gut nutzbar, die Grillstation könnte mal wieder etwas aufgemöbelt werden.

A lovely big spacious villa with everything you will need to make great memories

Not long back from a wonderful 10day stay here with my family. We arrived at night and Paul the owner had arranged a taxi transfer for us which was great, I was travelling with two young children and very pleased to see they provided car seats for them both. As soon as we opened the door you could see how great the property was. Big, spacious and very clean. A starter shop had been provided for our arrival of Bread, milk and a good fw other things, which was perfect when travelling with at night with children. Beach is only a 10min walk from the property and nearest shops were a 15/20min walk round the bay. Two good local restaurants which were 10mins walk. We decided we wanted to hire a car as we wanted to explore abit and with the children it comes on very handy. I would personally recommend a car if you stay here. Again Paul the owner helped us with info to sort this out. We spent mornings on the beach and lazy afternoons by the pool at the villa. Pool is great as it’s above ground so the little ones were safe, hot tub is a great bonus. The villa is on a huge plot so very private and surrounded with beautiful trees and plants. There was everything you need and more at the villa to make your holiday a great one! Thank you to Paul the owner for letting us have your villa and a wonderful holiday

A fantastic place for a family holiday.

We stayed at the end of March with two young children and had a wonderful time. The property is located in a peaceful area and everything about the house and garden is lovely. We found the above ground pool ideal for our 'busy' two year old and felt we could relax that he wasn't at risk of falling in, as with a ground level pool. My husband and I found the pool just warm enough to swim in. The Jacuzzi was a hit with everyone and we used it a few times. The children loved the garden, it was great for exploring and they loved having the swing and little house to play with. Inside, the house was light, airy and clean. The balcony terrace was excellent for meal times. The kitchen was adequately equipped, though a little more cutlery and crockery would have made life a bit easier. The bedrooms were lovely and the twin room was perfect for the kids. The sheets on the beds were unfortunately a bit bobbly and could have done with replacing but this wasn't really an issue. The nearest beach was unfortunately still closed. There are however, plenty of other lovely beaches that we easily reached in a few minutes by car. There are shops and places to eat only a few minutes away. We recommend Guantanamo restaurant, just a 10 minute walk, at the bottom of the hill. The unassuming exterior disguises a lovely restaurant with fabulous food and excellent service! We'd all like to thank Paul, the owner, for a fabulous holiday property. We all had a great time and hope to return one day.

Good, but the price compels to make improvements

The good: communication with the owner, location (quiet neighbourhood, close to the sea, but also close to the mountains), spacy, interior design, huge TV, beautiful balcony and comfortable outdoor seats, a wide variety of kitchen utensils, nice swimming pool, good beds, beautiful palm trees create instant happiness when you get up in the morning. A seller of bread etc. comes around a few times per day. Everything indoor was clean. The not so good: kitchen utensils are often old, not adapted to a group of 6 (you might end up doing half of the dishes yourself as the dish washer is very small), shower cranes are old, the garden was a little messy, the bbq was too dirty for use, the (fairly old) jaccuzzi had a smell. I believe that after taking care to these issues, the villa would justify its price better, and it would satisfy its guests even more. My rating: 6,5 to 7 / 10.

Great family villa in a lovely area in Gran Canaria!

We stayed in January 2017 and had a great week. The villa is really lovely, spacious, clean, wi fi etc. Much more like 'a home from home' than other villas we have stayed at. The above ground pool was a bit cold for us, but the hot tub was brilliant and used every day! Our young daughter appreciated the play area too. We were met by the house keeper as the owner Paul was away but we'd spoken on the phone and he was very helpful. As advised you do need a car to get about as the villa is in a residential area (which means it's lovely and peaceful) we visited all of the near by beaches (such as amadores, Puerto Rico and Mogan) which are a short drive away. The closest beach Tauro beach was closed which was a shame as you could walk there from the Villa - talking to locals it has been closed since they laid the new sand last summer - no-one seems sure when it will reopen! There are two restaurants in walking distance (note the road is not well lit so take a torch!) and a few more just a short drive away. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
