Acadia Yurts offre aux visiteurs le moyen le plus unique de séjourner sur l'île Mount Desert. Situé sur 5 acres de terres boisées charmantes, entouré par la propriété du parc national Acadia, les yourtes Acadia offrent une retraite paisible pour votre groupe (jusqu'à 4 personnes par yourte 24 ', 6 personnes pour la yourte 30' ou 2 personnes par Tiny House). Les yourtes Acadia sont également idéales pour les grands groupes voyageant avec un hébergement pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 34 personnes sur 1 site.

Une yourte est une structure de tissu circulaire en forme de tente avec un cadre en treillis en bois originaire des tribus nomades d'Asie. Ces structures permanentes et colorées ont des murs extérieurs en toile épaisse qui incluent une isolation réfléchissante et une pompe à chaleur / AC haute efficacité afin que vous puissiez être à l'aise en toute saison. This was a great place to stay, it had everything it said it would have, it was clean, we had enough towels, the kitchen had everything you might need and if it didn’t the little red barn building had a wide array of communal things that could be checked out to use. Overall we absolutely loved our stay at Acadia Yurts!

Clarence (my two-year-old lab mix) and I needed to celebrate the end of a long year/journey, surrounded by nature and near the water. I found Acadia yurts while looking for pet-friendly options in Acadia. I can't express how grateful I am to have found this place. I will definitely return! The yurt itself is heaven. Perfectly appointed with comfortable furniture (the bed was so comfortable it was difficult to leave), everything I'd need or want in the kitchen, a perfect bathroom with a great shower! It is private and yet part of a small community of yurts, so you don't feel you are alone in the woods or on top of a neighbor. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming. It is immaculate, quiet, and if you want to pamper yourself a little, the wellness center offers services. So far, I have taken two yoga classes that I enjoyed very much. Every detail about this place is spot on. I do not want to leave. I cannot praise my experience here highly enough. Thank you, Karen and Aaron, for a wonderful two weeks in Maine!

Acadia Yurts was an incredible place to stay while visiting the national park! The yurt community is super cute and the check-in process was beyond easy. Aaron and Karen were lovely hosts. They provided clear directions to the property, and their check-in and check-out processes were simple and very reasonable. It's near enough to the park to be convenient without being right in the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.Walking into our rented yurt, we were struck by the cleanliness and overwhelmingly homey feel. The decor is minimalist, but perfect for the space. It was hard to believe we were glamping! The skylight at night is everything! There was plenty of space for my husband, dog and I, and all the essentials were available. The sofa was very comfortable. The bed felt a bit firm for us, but that is very subjective. :) Overall, we were beyond happy with our stay and will definitely be back!

The Yurt was spotless, the host thought of everything a traveler might need. Little things like lots of hooks and hangers, and places to store things for the stay. Absolutely Amazing Place!

Acadia trip

Our first time staying at a yurt with our golden retriever. The place was clean and very comfortable. It has all the essentials and it’s very spacious. Also great location. We cant wait to go back.

Aaron is a Maine native. He was born and raised across the bridge in Trenton and grew up attending local Bar Harbor schools. He has worked in the restaurant industry for 20+ years beginning as a prep cook in high school then moving toward general manager. Aaron's favorite extracurricular activity is learning all he can about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As often as he can, he trains locally and loves sharing this passion with others.

Karen is a transplant. Originally from Chicago she made her way to Maine in 2009 and fell in love immediately. In Acadia she enjoys hiking, trail running, yoga, and long walks on the carriage roads. Karen has been teaching yoga locally for over 6 years and now brings her practice to the Wellness Center (located on site at Acadia Yurts). Karen is also a licensed massage therapist and offers services onsite (pending availability).

As a couple we have done quite a bit of traveling and through that we have narrowed down the particular way we like to travel. The biggest factor for us is having a furnished kitchen in order to prepare health minded foods to nourish our bodies and support all our outdoor activities. The idea for Acadia Yurts has been brewing for quite some time. Friends of ours live off the grid in a yurt and we greatly appreciate the rustic, romantic feel of the yurt but wanted some of the comforts of home; running water, heat, electricity. From there Acadia Yurts was born. We truly hope you enjoy our property and your time here as much as we do.
