Nouvelle construction à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, entièrement meublée et entièrement équipée pour votre plaisir. Hôtel moderne se sentent dans les bois pittoresques du Maine. Perfect Stay for the Acadia Birding Festival

Clean and convenient

We enjoyed our stay as a family of four with two adult children and our dog. It’s close to area hikes and restaurants. We kayaked one day at Long Pond. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped.

Great Vacation

My wife and I stayed here for three days during a New England road trip. Eric was awesome. Provided excellent recommendations. The VRBO was clean and in a great location with hiking trails one min away. Wouldn't need to think twice about staying here again. Highly recommend.

Great Acadia getaway

This apartment was conveniently located near many hiking trails and Southwest Harbor. It was clean, well maintained and exactly as listed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be visiting here again!

Peaceful Experience

Perfect spot for hiking

This brand new home is located right near the start of some great hiking trails and only minutes from Southwest Harbor. Super quiet. We pretty much lived on the deck.

Best stay in Acadia

My family of 4 had such a great time in this home in Southwest Harbor. I am so thankful for this peaceful retreat away from the crowds and stress of Bar Harbor. The house was lovely, quiet, and cozy. It was so clean and well-constructed. We have stayed in rental properties about twice a year for the last 12 years, and this one was my favorite. The owners are meticulous with their information and instructions which I really appreciated. They took as much time to prepare the home and visitors as I did to plan my vacation. I will recommend this home to everyone I meet who would like to visit Acadia!

Getaway for 2

We had a great time at this property. The apartment was clean, and stocked with a fridge, laundry, extra fans if we got hot, and extra blankets if we were cold. It was remote and quiet which is what we were looking for. We had a rainy day in and the place was cozy and the dining table was perfect to do a puzzle! Definitely recommend staying here. Owner was super responsive and informative in a timely manner.

Brand spanking new and equipped with everything

We were so comfortable at Eric's beautiful property, which was brand new, sparkling clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could think of -- from electric fans in the bedrooms, to a water filter in the fridge, to a dog bowl (though the place was so spotless you'd never know dogs sometimes stay there). All the switches were carefully labeled and the access instructions were clear and simple. We also appreciated all the helpful info about Acadia and the area. All around it made for a very pleasant and carefree stay.

Acadia trip

Stayed at this home with my 2 kids (12 and 15). The house was perfect for us: clean, comfortable, well-stocked with everything we could need, and in a quiet neighborhood. Deck is beautiful and great for relaxing in the evening. We went to Acadia and hiked every day. The house was very conveniently located for this. It’s about 20 minutes to Hulls Cove visitors center where we parked every day and took the Island Explorer bus to various trailheads. Host was great with communication before visit and responds quickly. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again

Absolutely Stunning!

Excellent 10 stars! The unit is just as it's listed. Comfortable beds, bedding, and bath towels. All the nice touches; couch, chairs, deck furniture, extra outlets, etc. etc. we could go on and on about how special this place was! Every detail down to the minute with the traveler in mind! After hiking, nice to pamper yourself with excellent comfort and awesome details! Having the trailhead down the road is spectacular! There was even a dog bowl for our pup! He loved the place too! Thank you for sharing your place with us! Very Appreciative!

Great Find in Southwest Harbor

This was a great find in Southwest Harbor! Everything in the house was brand new and spotless. We really appreciated the little details that other rental properties tend to overlook (like a hook for your towel next to the shower, outlets by the bed to charge your phone, luggage racks, etc.). The location was perfect! A short walk (~10 minutes) or drive (~2 minutes) to the Flying Mountain and Valley Cove trails which connect to a number of other great hikes. You are also a short drive to the main shops and restaurants in SWH (be sure to check out Hearth and Habor, Salt Shop, and Peter Trout's). Bar Habor is ~20 minutes away. We loved how secluded the spot was and we really enjoyed being among the trees when sitting on the deck. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience the best parts of Southwest Harbor!

Clean, new and good location

This was a great little 2 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. It is new and clean. The location is great. On the "quiet side" of MDI but only 20-30 minutes from ANP visitor center and loop road and Bar Harbor. 3 minutes to Beal's, must try lobster roll! Eric was a great communicator. The apartment does share a common entry with downstairs studio apartment. And the deck is over the downstairs patio. However, there were only guests there 1 of our 4 nights. Just know there is the potential to be sharing yard/cornhole/grill with someone else. They have everything including scent free laundry detergent. A little thing but we have some sensitivities and no strong odors on the sheets made it nice for sleeping. Would love a fire pit, but I undestand the danger/liability. Overall, it was a great stay!

The host was welcoming and responsive. The apartment had everything you needed and was super clean. The apartment had a great kitchen, great deck was spacious all around. Loved being on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island. Close to hiking, grocery store, and restaurants. Ate at one restaurant overlooking the harbor. Hope to get back soon. and is around 25 minutes from Bar Harbor.

Flying Mountain/Valley Cove —you can walk to this hike from apt. Beautiful hike .

Unit was very clean and well situated in Southwest harbor. Check-in was seamless and the host was very responsive. We did not have any issues with noise or other inconveniences with additional tenants staying in the downstairs studio unit, and the host very kindly gave us a heads up when new tenants were coming during our stay. Kitchen was well outfitted and rooms were comfortable. Check out task list was minimal and straightforward.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay in South West Harbor was. The apartment is great! Clean, spacious and comfortable. Close enough to everything (Bar Harbor & Acadia), while also being tucked away in the woods. Great experience from start to finish.

We had a great time staying here! As others have shared, Southwest Harbor is on the quieter side of the island AND we had a full Acadia experience. There was plenty to do in/around that area and Bar Harbor was about 25ish minutes away. Eric was very communicative -- the check-in process was easy and the place is as pictured and described - very clean and comfortable. Would I stay here again? Yes - I have zero hesitation in recommending this place.
