After an amazing Rick Steves' London tour we wanted to stay in London and wind down to revisit spots we thought we needed more time to explore or take a day trip outside of London. This was the perfect place to do all that! This flat was conveniently located to multiple bus stops, the Thames, a food co-op (open to the public), and a neighborhood park. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room areas had wonderful, cozy and functional touches that mades us feel welcome and at home immediately. The kitchen was well appointed with appropriate utensils and extras (spices, oils, tea, coffee, etc.) that made it easy to prepare meals there w/ groceries from the food co-op. The living room had sliding windows/walls (they lock!) that would have been nice to use in warmer weather and would have created a lovely indoor/outdoor space. The bedroom was spacious and very quiet despite facing the street as the building is on a quiet street. One point worth noting, as another reviewer mentioned, is the bathroom. It IS small, but well designed; the toilet and sink are a little tight, but the shower had no issue accommodating my my 6'2" husband. We spent the least amount of time in that room, and didn't really affect our experience. Ann Louise also had some great information about the area and was very attentive to our needs (super easy to communicate w/ if we had questions before and during our stay). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we are in London. Further, I would absolutely recommend this property to a friend.
