Mooi appartement met complete inrichting, WiFi werkt goed, servies goed op orde, fijne bedden en belangrijkste een zeer fijne communicatie met verhuurder
Central location but dirty and not well looked after
The location of the appartment is great (Centre Pompidou 2 minutes, supermarket, bars and restaurants). We enjoyed that a lot but I would however not recommend the appartment or come again.
The appartment itself is not well looked after. It was only superficially cleaned before our arrival (cobwebs, hairs in the bathroom, lots of scraps of a wall covering on the bathroom floor).
The dishwasher didn't work properly (didn't clean) and the owener was not able to solve the problem until our departure (despite quick answers on our mails).
The toilet broke down on our last evening (not the first time, according to the concierge) and Thierry told us to use the public toilet in front of the near supermarket instead. Not a good alternative considering the price per night for the appartment.
So, we will definitely choose another appartment for our next stay in Paris.
The property is in a fine location. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. Plenty of grocery stores/markets in the area. The property is definitely tiny. It had almost everything we needed but a tad unclean. It could have used more towels and paper products. Overall it was fine for our trip.
The flat is VERY tiny - we were two couples; one in the bedroom and one couple on the pull-out bed, which is very comfortable, but smack in the middle of bedroom and living/kitchen area. The toilet is in what can best be described as a broom closet. The bathroom area is closed by glass panels, which really don't leave much privacy if you are getting out of the shower and others are having coffee in the kitchen. Speaking strictly for myself, I was put off and very on edge by the notes about how you'll be charged 10 euro for a broken glass, 250 euro if the toilet backs up, etc. I get that people want renters to respect their property, but to be nervous every time you pee and flush the toilet...The neighborhood is best suited I think for young people in their 20's-30's - party hearty crowd in the cafes surrounding the street every night but you really don't hear the noise in the flat. It is easy to walk to the metro to go explore the city and there's a small grocery across the street and a fantastic bakery just a few doors up the street. The landlord is very responsive, helpful and nice - we did have some trouble entering the flat as there was a new concierge and a new key pad # for the door, so there was some concern waiting to hear back to be let in. I know you don't go to Paris to stay indoors in a flat, but I wouldn't stay here again - it's nice but just way, way too small, and the neighborhood is filthy.
We had an amazing stay here! So centrally located, we walked most places and took the metro elsewhere. Very easy to get to and from the airport via the RER- which is just a five minute walk away. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom accommodated 5 women getting ready in the morning! The surrounding neighborhood is everything you could hope for in Paris, with a lovely patisserie down the street and wonderful shops and restaurants everywhere. Would recommend to anyone!
