Apartment is located in the proximate of many attractions, restaurants and night life. Apartment can accommodate 5 or 6 people but tight quarters. Great for a family of two with kids. Would do again!
It was a great place, shower was fantastic, everything worked, host was amazing!!! It was really nice to have a refrigerator. Only issue we had was it was stuffy. Couldn't leave the window open. Not much air flow. It was fantastic having 3 double beds. Great having a washer/dryer and dishwasher. All in all we could not have more pleased with the apartment and the management.
Mooi appartement met complete inrichting, WiFi werkt goed, servies goed op orde, fijne bedden en belangrijkste een zeer fijne communicatie met verhuurder
Central location but dirty and not well looked after
The location of the appartment is great (Centre Pompidou 2 minutes, supermarket, bars and restaurants). We enjoyed that a lot but I would however not recommend the appartment or come again.
The appartment itself is not well looked after. It was only superficially cleaned before our arrival (cobwebs, hairs in the bathroom, lots of scraps of a wall covering on the bathroom floor).
The dishwasher didn't work properly (didn't clean) and the owener was not able to solve the problem until our departure (despite quick answers on our mails).
The toilet broke down on our last evening (not the first time, according to the concierge) and Thierry told us to use the public toilet in front of the near supermarket instead. Not a good alternative considering the price per night for the appartment.
So, we will definitely choose another appartment for our next stay in Paris.
The property is in a fine location. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. Plenty of grocery stores/markets in the area. The property is definitely tiny. It had almost everything we needed but a tad unclean. It could have used more towels and paper products. Overall it was fine for our trip.
The flat is VERY tiny - we were two couples; one in the bedroom and one couple on the pull-out bed, which is very comfortable, but smack in the middle of bedroom and living/kitchen area. The toilet is in what can best be described as a broom closet. The bathroom area is closed by glass panels, which really don't leave much privacy if you are getting out of the shower and others are having coffee in the kitchen. Speaking strictly for myself, I was put off and very on edge by the notes about how you'll be charged 10 euro for a broken glass, 250 euro if the toilet backs up, etc. I get that people want renters to respect their property, but to be nervous every time you pee and flush the toilet...The neighborhood is best suited I think for young people in their 20's-30's - party hearty crowd in the cafes surrounding the street every night but you really don't hear the noise in the flat. It is easy to walk to the metro to go explore the city and there's a small grocery across the street and a fantastic bakery just a few doors up the street. The landlord is very responsive, helpful and nice - we did have some trouble entering the flat as there was a new concierge and a new key pad # for the door, so there was some concern waiting to hear back to be let in. I know you don't go to Paris to stay indoors in a flat, but I wouldn't stay here again - it's nice but just way, way too small, and the neighborhood is filthy.
We had an amazing stay here! So centrally located, we walked most places and took the metro elsewhere. Very easy to get to and from the airport via the RER- which is just a five minute walk away. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom accommodated 5 women getting ready in the morning! The surrounding neighborhood is everything you could hope for in Paris, with a lovely patisserie down the street and wonderful shops and restaurants everywhere. Would recommend to anyone!
On first impressions, I thought the place was a bit small......not true. The space is used well and the appartment catered very well for our needs.
The shops and eating areas are so close and met our needs perfectly. This is an apparment I would happily return to.
If you are a person that needs absolute privacy in the bathroom, then this appartment may be challenging
great location, clean, comfortable bed, secure, quiet
kitchen is small and is really for the most basic food preparation. Drip coffee maker, washer dryer. We had some confusion on checking in, but resolved graciously.
The apartment was close to 2 metro lines (2 blocks) and quiet. Everything we needed for a 6 day stay for 2 adults and my grand daughter. The apartment is surrounded by many great coffee shops and restaurants. The greater Jean Francois spent time with us to give us a high level orientation of the area and good deals in the city. If you want to be in a quiet apartment but in the center of the action, this is a good place.
Prima appartement als uitvalbasis voor alle highlights van Parijs
Appartement is goed centraal gelegen dichtbij Centre Pompidou. Goede bedden
Great location, quiet, and excellent communication with owner
My family really enjoyed our stay in Paris. We aimed for a great location with a reasonable budget, and this property fit the bill perfectly. We didn't spend much time in the flat, but were cozy and comfortable while in it. The flat is on the small side, but what in Paris isn't. The beds were comfortable, the location perfect, kitchen, bath and utilities functional. Not a lot of frills, but we didn't need any. We had a fantastic time!
We had a lovely time in Paris and really enjoyed the apartment in a convenient location by the Pompidou. There were several shops very close to us for croissant in the am and bread and cheese at night. Comfortable accommodations for two couples.
This property was exactly what we needed for our week's stay in La Marais. We used it as our base of operations for walking adventures around Paris, and there were tons of great little cafes within easy walking distance.
The apartment itself was a little tight, but not unusually so. It was plenty of space for the two of us, might've been difficult to get more than one more person in there.
Everything was clean, neat, and easy to use, and despite the street outside being pretty loud, especially on the weekends, we were able to sleep with the windows open with no trouble because we were facing the interior courtyard.
Great, modern apartment in the heart of Paris's Marais neighborhood. We had a great host, Thierry, who was easy to communicate with in English. He took the time to show us the apartment and also show us around the neighborhood and give some tips for tourists. The apartment itself is nicely outfitted. Affords flexibility with two beds and fold out sofa bed. Steps from the action on the street, but inside very quiet. Apartment is a little tight space wise, but this is typical for Paris. The apartment is at the center of a very hip neighborhood. Walk to shops and great restaurants. In fact, after the first day we basically ditched the subway and walked everywhere. It's great to stay in a city and have a refuge in the heart of the action.
This 2 bedroom apt. is compact and efficient and located in the Marais, which is perfectly suited for great access to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, and with easy access to transport to other sites. It's a block from the Hotel de Ville and two blocks from the Seine. We had wonderful walks to the Ile de la Cite, and once for a concert at Ste. Chapelle with a wonderful night walk back just in time to see the Eiffel Tower put on its nightly show. Be aware that there is no elevator in this building, and the steps are winding and narrow. Hiroko, however, was immensely helpful in maneuvering up and down, always taking the heaviest suitcase. We had a wonderful view out the front windows to Notre Dame. The apt. can be noisy as it is the heart of the action but we had no trouble sleeping, and it was quiet with the windows shut. It was also great to have the washer and dryer with detergent provided.
This apartment is perfect. It has all you need to be confortable. We have been in it in february (5 people) and we recommend it. The owner,Thierry, answers the emails in few minutos and at arrive he gives all you need. It's located near to most of attractions in ParĂs (walking) and 3 minutes from Les Halles metro and train station.
