Michelle was such a wonderful host. He met us in the plaza and walked us to our apartment. He spent time showing us all the intricacies of the place which was very helpful. The location was perfect. Right in the center of everything. The apartment was very comfortable, felt like home.
This house is very individual with steep stairways that would be challenging for many people but especially those with any degree of physical limitations.
Giovinazzo is a lovely, relaxing small town with excellent seafood and friendly people. The train service to Trani and Bari and up and down the line is quick and efficient. The flat in Giovinazzo was in the pretty Centro Storico. It has a lot of stone stairs in the flat over a few floors which may not be for everyone.
The house it's a delight for artistic souls...not only exclusive but it's arrangement also shows a great understanding of visitors needs. Signor Michele proves a high consideration for his guests. The location is unique, historical, romantic, artistic. We spend a quality time in this house and it's surroundings. Thank you, Signor Michele, for this wonderful holiday!
We had a wonderful stay at Micheleâs place, he awaited us when we arrived and brought us to the property. He had good tips about cafeâs and restaurants which we all visited! The property itself is simply amazing! Modern but with all the authenticity intact. The pictures do not do it justice, itâs much better! The terrace which is not shown is great for a drink at the end of the day. Giovinazzo is lovely, we are in love!
The apartment was incredibly comfortable and well furnished with everything necessary for our visit. It had the charm of exposed bricks accentuating the old building while having the comfort of renovations in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Michele was very cordial in meeting us for coffee, assisting with our luggage while we waited for the cleaning to be done as we had arrived very early in the morning; and then returned to explain everything about the apartment when we checked in. We were a little surprised at the number of stairs involved as it wasn't clear from the description, but the necessity was evident when you realize that most apartments in this location are vertical; so there were 4 levels of stairs which kept us completely in shape for all the walking we did while in the city. The location was so perfect as it was walkable to great 3 great coffee spots and charming restaurants. The kitchen was extremely well stocked if we had wanted to cook, but we ate out most of the time. The only obstacle we had was once we determined we wanted to travel to nearby Bari and other interesting places, we found it easier to rent a car than use the train station which was about a 20-minute walk. The apartment itself was very delightful and we highly recommend it as long as you can handle 4 different set of stairs to access everything. It was a very comfortable, charming property.
Micheleâs was a great host and the apartment was fantastic! Walking distance to everything in beautiful Giovanazzo and a short drive to Bari and other coastal spots. I highly recommend this place. A+
Relaxing holiday in a gorgeous old townhouse in a vibrant little town.
Giovinazzo was a wonderful find, and " La Casa Torre " had a welcoming feeling, and as a holiday home was something unique.
We love the experience of stopping in the Borgo Antico combining a calming atmosphere and with a lively touch,, a selection of stylish good restaurants was undoubtedly a big plus!,, also we shouldn't forget the Ice-cream parlors!!,, great holiday!, wished stay longer! (4 nights stay).
Michele home is located in a beautiful and charming historic centre of Giovinazzo. It's a perfect place to go when you want to feel the italian atmosphere around and be close to the local culture. Home is tidy, lovely arranged and fully equipped. Michele was a really helpful and welcoming host.
I wish I will come back to this place again in the future.
Totally recommended!
This is a beautiful property set in the historic part of Giovinazzo. The upper terrace was an ideal place to eat breakfast with a view of the sea.
The second-floor terrace was perfect for catching the sun, reading and eating our evening meal.
The property oozes character and is a very special place.
There are many great restaurants and bars locally. The marina and square are both focal points for evening activities.
The train station is only a 10-minute walk away trains can take you into the centre of Bari and in the other direction,â there are some beautiful towns to visit. We particularly enjoyed a day in Trani.
Michele met us in the town square and helped us settle in and was very kind in giving us a lift back to the Airport at the end of our holiday.
We had a very relaxing holiday thank you Michele

Beautifully architected
Michelle, the owner of this 12th century tower is an architect, who did a great job bringing the house back to life in 21st century. We liked the house, the town, churches and the walks along the sea. Recommended restaurant -St Domenico - is out of this world, the food is simply exceptional.
There are a couple of little things that would make stay in the house even better - a toaster and wine glasses.
Overall - we loved our time in Giovinazzo!
any of the most beautiful places on earth.
This was a wonderful apartment in the ancient city. Well appointed. Just be prepared for stairs. We've learned that unlike homes in the US, Italians live vertically. We lived like locals since there were many small caffes and restaurants that we could walk to. Sitting in the piazza with all the folks who live there and visit the piazza every day to exchange news and see what's different was a great experience. Practice your Italian as there are few English speakers. Not a problem - just adds to the charm.
