Ocean House 1906 est un 3 salles de bain unité coin ouest de 3 chambres situé au 9ème étage avec vue sur le golfe du Mexique. contre granit dans la cuisine et salles de bains.
La chambre principale offre un roi, deuxième chambre offre une reine et le golfe chambre latérale offre un lit king. Le salon a un grand canapé-lit. Détendez-vous et profiter de l'image vue en bord de mer parfait depuis le balcon. Que ce soit pour un court week-end ou une longue semaine, notre condo a ce que vous cherchez!

Ocean House I est à distance de marche des restaurants de fruits de mer, des boutiques et Gulf Shores Beach publique (mais vous pouvez aussi marcher droit en dehors de ce condo et sur la plage). Il y a de nombreux terrains de golf dans la région avec des taux pratiques.

Great place

This is an awesome condo. It could use some minor repairs, but it was well stocked and has plenty of room. We loved the short walk distance to the beach.

2024 family trip

Loved the pool and the location.. check in was easy and staff and security there was great.. loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths that was a plus...great location but the condo could use some TLC..but was there 8 days and had a great time..yes i would recommend this place 😀❣️

Great stay at Ocean House, my only small complaint would be the dryer did not seem to work properly. Took forever for towels to dry. Nice condo, fast elevator, clean pool area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor pool was heated and I loved the built in seating in the deep end. Short walk to the beach and the view was amazing. The beds were a little firm for my taste but not uncomfortable and the Jacuzzi tub was a pain to fill because only the shower head would run water but keep the curtain closed and the mess wasnt to bad. Overall the unit was comfortable and my family really enjoyed ourselves would absolutely book again!

Never disappoints!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in this unit 3 or 4 times now over the last couple of years. It is not perfect but it is clean and cozy. The location is fantastic and Gulf Shores Rentals is super responsive via text or phone. We had a small maintenance issue with a bathtub but it was remedied within a couple hours of being reported. The only real complaint we have is that the satellite remote control was missing so we had to watch football in the bedrooms. A minor inconvenience though. We will definitely be back to Gulf Shores and will most likely stay in this unit that suits our family of 6 well.

Property management was attentive when needed but they should have disclosed that parking is $30 per car. The pictures on the listing don’t show the poor condition that the condo is in which is why I think it is important to write this review.

But the condo was a little tired looking and could use a little attention to detail. Only 2 garbage bags for a 3 bedroom condo housing 5 adults, 1 blow dryer, 1 roll of paper towels and no coffee filters. Kitchen pots and pans were sparse. Carpet in bedrooms was stiff and worn. Though we loved being there and are grateful for the space, if we choose this same condo next year, we would plan to bring more of the basics we would have expected to be there. also some of the kitchen utensils needed to be washed before using them.

Great beach front condo

The condo itself could use some upkeep, but that did not hinder our experience. It’s a perfect location and beautiful views. There were some broken blinds, but maintenance came and changed quickly. There are large, white patches on the walls that need painted. The kitchen could use some updating. The stove is not level and had gaps around it and the counter. The utensils need to be gone through and updated. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall a great stay and would stay again. The condo itself just needs some updating and TLC.

Exactly as described

The location was perfect. Being right on the beach was awesome! We drank coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoyed the sunrise. Checkin was super easy and we had no problem getting a parking pass late at night when we arrived. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great for our family of teens. It was important that we had that many bathrooms. The condo could definitely use a refresh, but it was so functional for our group that we didn’t mind the older look of the place. We ignored the crooked countertops and cupboard doors and other issues with the kitchen. The location made up for it. Make sure you bring everything you need for your stay. They only provide about 2 days worth of paper products. The kitchen could use some cereal bowls and wine glasses too. Make sure to bring your own. Read the fine print of what exactly is included. I was very happy that I had brought my own spices and condiments. Don’t forget beach stuff, tide pods, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There is a Walmart 10 mins away if you forgot anything.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo unit was slightly below average. A few complaints. First, this condo requires you to buy a $30 parking pass to park your car after you have already spent the money to stay. I find this egregious. Now, onto the actual unit itself. As far as space and rooms I was happy with the size of the unit. However, there were numerous places that needed to be addressed. There were many places that needed painted and touched up. Several blinds were in need of being replaced. The unit had several places that looked like an amateur handyman had tried to repair issues. Very shabby. Another complaint, the unit is opened by a physical key that if you lose there is a $50 replacement cost. Seems like a money grab. What not just update the lock to a keypad like 90% of the units there. Now to the positives. The condo location was convenient. They offered ice onsite for $4 a bag. The pool was nice for kids as it was zero entry on two sides.Overall, the condo was acceptable just don’t have high expectations on the aesthetics of the unit. Of all the units I have been in, this one needed the most work visually I have been in. However, it served a purpose adequately.

We are thinking about booking again for the spring! My only negative comment is the blinds in one of the bedrooms, a few were missing causing the room to get very bright as soon as daylight hits. My son would wake up super early.

Due to beach erosion, the use of canopies and tents had to be prohibited this year to allow everyone space to enjoy the beach. We are sorry that was an inconvenience. If someone wishes to not rent chairs, they are free to bring their own chairs. There is a beach restoration project set to begin in November of 2022. -Gulf Shores Rentals

Family Vacation 2022 Was amazing!

Review of our stay at ocean House.

We had a great time on our vacation. The condo was as described. I only have a few complaints, the shower in the master bathroom does not work. The air conditioner is not as cool in the master bedroom as it is in bedroom #1. The price that we paid for the cleaning fee. I feel like it could have been cleaned better. Thanks for a great time.

We were told by maintenance that we should just use the other showers that we had when the one in main bath didn't work, so we didn't even try to have them fix the other issues of doors that didn't work well and leaked air badly etc

Needs updating. Could be very nice but needs lots of TLC!

Condo could be very nice but needs a lot of TLC. A good coat of paint throughout would help. Beds were very uncomfortable. Blinds were missing in the bedrooms. I saw a complaint about the blinds from another review and called the rental agency to see if this had been fixed. They assured me it was…..it wasn’t. Condo wasn’t thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival either. There were food crumbs under the table. Would not recommend this condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing as it has been for the last 6 years we have stayed at Oceanhouse in Gulf Shores. The view from the 9th floor was beautiful. The condo this time was a little less than amazing but okay. The first morning there we discovered the fridge wasn't cooling our groceries much at all. I sent a note and a repair guy came that same day. He said the fridge was done and they would be putting in a new one. When we came back to the room later there was two coolers each with one bag of ice for us to put our groceries in until the new fridge was installed. I assumed the new one would be installed the next day well was I wrong. I had to send another note and then it was put in. The guy asked when we were leaving we said Friday he said I will be back then to finish putting on the handles etc. We went three days without a working fridge this is not acceptable. I will say I appreciate the new fridge for the one day we got to enjoy it.

As you probably know, replacing a major appliance takes time to coordinate the order, schedule the delivery, etc. We are sorry it had to happen during your stay. There is never a good time for a major appliance to go out. -Gulf Shores Rentals

Great location & roomy.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was probably the shortest walk to beach we’ve ever had-loved it. Just a few drawbacks though. One bedroom was not furnished as noted on website. The queen bedroom actually had two double beds & trundle, which worked for us, but may not for someone. Condo needs some TLC. Furnishings were nice enough. Baths & kitchen needs some updating. Blinds in master, facing the ocean, were missing half the slats-may as well not been there. Shower in master, facing the street, had a shower added to a garden tub. It was like standing under a regular faucet. The condo needed a good scrubbing. None of these things kept us from having a good vacation. It wouldn’t take much time or money to correct these things to make this condo great. PS Not a potholder in the kitchen.

We have been going to Gulf Shores for 20+ years and Gulf Shores Rentals have always been helpful with the reservations, any problem that may have occurred, and checkout is a breeze. We highly recommend Gulf Shores Rentals!
