Much space for the whole family of two adults and two teens, very good place to do everything by walking, car can stay in front of the flat separately to the streets, silent space, very good WiFi, nice gas stove.
Stayed for 5 nights over Easter. This rental is very close to the seafront and all amenities in Dinard and has safe off street parking which is a big plus. Less than 10 minute stroll to small supermarket and 10 min drive to large one outside the town. It has 2 good double rooms and 2 small attic rooms for young children (not babies or toddlers, up a spiral staircase). The bathroom and toilet are quite small as is the kitchen but it was well equipped and had all we needed. Washing machine is v small (3.5kg) - not great if travelling with children. Also I couldnât work out if it had a dryer or not, donât think so. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well. We could also use TV as smartTV with chromecast no problem. We had to bring our own bedding and towels (left it too late to rent) not included in price. Be sure to check sizes, duvet was king size not double and one of the kids beds had a double duvet. Not very accessible if you have mobility issues or a lot to carry, up a flight of stairs and spiral staircase to childrenâs beds. Nigel was very responsive with any questions we had prior to arrival.
We are an anglophone(American/Scottish) couple who have lived in France for some 20 years. Over the years we have lovingly renovated a selection of furnished apartments in Paris, Vernon-Giverny (Normandy) and Dinard (Brittany), as well as longer established properties in Notting Hill, London. We fell in love with Dinard on our first visit in 2002, kept coming back and finally bought this fantastic duplex in 2009.
Location is everything and this apartment could not be better situated. Five minutes away from the beach in the prestigious area called La pointe du Moulinet the property is part of the former stables of the Chateau Coppinger.
