House is as described and has an amazing view. The "hill" was manageable for all of us and it was nice to be able to walk to everything. Parking on the weekends was a challenge as we had 2 cars. Kitchen could have used a few basic items but served our purpose for making breakfast and lunches. Overall, would stay here again.

The layout was very nice for two couples sharing the house. The view was spectacular!!!! Rosalie at the property management company was on top of all of our questions with immediate answers. Definitely a place we would like to revisit.

The unit was not very clean. Noticed in the bathroom downstairs dirt on the floor and in the kitchen. The ocean view is much further away than the picture. We did not know that we had to walk up and down steep hills to get to the beach as I have a back problem and it really aggravated that. You had to walk to the beach as the parking was limited down there. The host was very receptive. We called about the toilet that we were unable to flush as the water kept running. Fortunately, my husband fixed it so they did not have to come out. The kitchen was well stocked and the barbecue worked.

This property is a gem. We loved the view and the central location. It was an easy drive (less than 15 minutes) to everything we wanted to see. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. The custom wood work throughout the property was extremely well done. We would definitely stay again.

We had a delightful stay at Avila Beach in our cozy cottage. The view from the deck was even better than the photos show. Our weather was good so our deck time was plentiful and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed a deck BBQ one evening. The beachy decor added to the ambiance of our stay. Customer service was spot on with the timing of our arrival, instructions for entering and responded to a request quickly. Walking to town was easy and scenic, walking back gave us good exercise up the hill. The town is charming, as always, and we had an amazing sunset dinner at "Blue Moon on Avila Beach" restaurant. The food, service and view were outstanding!!!! We would definitely stay here again. Thank You Avila Beach House for a wonderful Coastal Vacation!!!

The house was in a great location and very clean. It is also set up well to accommodate families. There were just three of us adults but it could easily have accommodate more children. We had plenty of room on the deck to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. You get a view of the pier but there is a new house that blocked the ocean view. We still enjoyed the hummingbirds and the beautiful weather listening to the waves. Communication was good as well with the property manager.

One was just a toddler, but the other had never seen bunk beds before. Bedtime was fun! The kitchen had adequate supplies, and the fridge worked great.The vacuum needs replaced. Wires are showing and it is clearly unsafe. The floors downstairs are in need of a good cleaning.
