We love Steamboat and the VRBO location was convenient, the Beds were comfortable, but the window blinds were quite old and difficult to maneuver. The VRBO fees were more than the cost of the unit. I'm not sure I will book again with VRBO.
Check In problem: on Sunday 1/31/23 the front desk failed to tell us for approximately two hours that they didnât manage the unit and therefore didnât know if we could check in early. (Also when we requested more towels to use at hot tub they said they donât manage the unit and would not provide towels. Craig was responsive when we spoke with him and got us towels by Monday morning.) As to the check in, I would have appreciated it if had been explicitly communicated to me that the front desk didnât manage the unit by you so that I would have known to make our early check in ( or check in) inquiry directly. I had sent an email as per your instructions with our flight and arrival time so I assumed that there would have been some follow up from you to make the check in seamless.
Physical condition: the shade in the master bedroom that leads to the terrace is off its track and canât be lowered, the other shades are worn and not in best condition. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, glasses, plates, pots, pans, and Mr. Coffee. That was great.
The beds were comfortable. The furniture was fine. The instructions for using the tv were useless and I just used the Roku remote.
Location: the location is very convenient, approximately a 7 minute walk to the gondola. The shuttle to the mountain and town was outstanding.

Location was excellent. The accommodations were adequate, it said there had been upgrades but I did not see any. The furniture in the living room was terrible.
The unit needs immediate renovation. Stained carpeting throughout. Mold in showers. Worn furniture in living room, with a cocktail table that looked like something had chewed on it' The table on the balcony had not been cleaned in a very long time. The view outside of our unit was a tennis court needing immediate repair. These issues were known at the front desk when checking out. Retreatia and the actual owner have been advised of these issues. Have you???? Seeing that you receive money for renting this unit, you should know what you are selling! Very disappointed with all the "responsible" parties.. And yes, I will not be contacting any of you again
It was a very nice space for bringing the family with me while attending a work conference. Close to everything and quiet and beautiful location. Nice to travel in the off season due to no crowds.and chill environment
Used the hot tubs.and not the pool. Mountain air was refreshing. Condo had all amenities.
The condo is much more worn than what the pictures indicate. It also sits in a location where you are looking at a tennis court. I was pleased with the floor plan and the overall cleanliness of the unit. On our day of arrival I got a phone call requesting me to pay a fee for a damage waiver. This fee was not disclosed to me at the time of booking and the surprise phone call did not sit well with me especially as we were getting ready to leave for our trip. After expressing my frustration they did end up putting a hold on my credit card as an option to paying the fee. Overall the entire experience left me Nuetral, or 3 out 5 stars.
Very comfortable Condominium! Access to the gondola via short shuttle bus ride.
We were pleased with the Condominium. Very comfortable! Only negative was that the unit above us was occupied by frat bros partying through the night....
Not really a rap on this condo as much as unfortunate circumstances for us.
