We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Gloria was truly amazing—so attentive to every detail and incredibly responsive. She always answered right away and took the time to share helpful tips about Verona and even traveling to Venice, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, and perfectly maintained, and the location is fantastic. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this Vrbo and especially Gloria for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

The place was beautiful and spotless. Exactly as advertised. It was about a 25 minute walk through a quiet residential area to the city center, which was perfect. Gloria was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property - 2 couples and space was very adequate - quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Once we figured out the bus schedule, it worked great to get to the market and downtown to the Attractions.

Lovely stay in Verona

We had a wonderful time staying at Gloria’s villa. It was really lovely, everything we needed was there, the villa is well equipped and stocked with all the essentials and loads of coffee pods 😁 The terrace is great for breakfast and drinks in the evening. Gloria made lots of recommendations for us including El Capitel restaurant which was wonderful - we ate there twice. Thanks a lot Gloria - we will definitely stay again when we return to Verona !

Exquisite villa in Verona

The property is located in the Borgo Trento neighborhood of Verona. It is congested, but VERY quiet. We met our host in front of the villa, and she gave us a quick tour of the property. Washer, drying rack, and the gate outside, then up the stairs to the villa. The villa is beautiful, with an outside patio.

A week in the city of love

The first week of our 2-week holiday in Italy couldn't have been better. A great apartment for our needs, including parking and space for our 2 bikes. We loved the apartment and Verona. Highly recommended

Excellent stay in Verona

Beautiful villa in a quiet and safe location. Great restaurant recommendations by Gloria. Very nice to have two separate washrooms and an outside terrace to eat on. A few basic pantry basics such as salt, sugar and oil would have been appreciated for those who like to cook and want to make us if the beautiful kitchen and dining room.

Wonderful Stay in Verona

The property was very clean and well equipped, and the owner Gloria was there to meet us and show us the features of the property. A binder she had made included recommendations for restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. She also had a variety of maps and ideas for sightseeing available. We were in a very walkable location to the center of Verona.We enjoyed our stay, and would happily return to this property if we are lucky enough to be in Verona again!

Villa Gloria

This was a spacious and comfortable apartment housed in an elegantly beautiful Veronese villa. The villa was located in a quiet and florid suburb around 20 minutes’ walk to central Verona and all the most important amenities - including good value pizzerias, cosy bars and a supermarket - were located nearby. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Verona and look forward to a time when we might be able to do so ourselves again.

Perfect Place to Stay in Verona!!

We made Verona our home base and travelled to nearby destinations from Villa Gloria. Gloria is an excellent communicator, a knowledgeable & kind person and her villa is wonderful. The villa was spotless, the kitchen well-equipped, the patio is perfect, the beds are comfortable and the showers/bathrooms are excellent. It was nice to be close to the city center but a little removed from it. Gloria could not have been a better host. She made fabulous recommendations and gave us great travel tips. Gloria and her villa: fantastico!!

The Absolute Best Place to Stay!

This home is gorgeous! Hostess Gloria's home is impeccably clean and comfortable, and as beautiful as the photos are, they do not do it justice! The place was the perfect size for the four of us (two adults and two teens), and it had everything imaginable to make us comfortable. The air conditioners were great, and the multiple streaming services kept the kids entertained when we were relaxing "at home." Gloria met us at the property and walked us through everything that we needed to know, providing so many helpful bits of information about the neighborhood (restaurants, stores, bus routes, taxi services). Perfect place to stay! Perfect location, perfect home, and perfect hostess! Highly recommended!

Villa Gloria is a pristine apartment, very nicely appointed, on a quiet but convenient street.

Villa Gloria is spacious, immaculately clean and has every amenity. It is located on a quiet, residential street that is convenient to restaurants, shops, and bus routes to all the major attractions of the city. However, the best thing about Villa Gloria is Gloria herself. She met us upon arrival to show us the apartment, give us site seeing ideas within and outside of Verona, and provide dining recommendations. She was available and immediately responsive during our entire stay to answer all questions about Verona. Villa Gloria is wonderful, and Gloria is outstanding!

EXCELLENT in every way!!

We (two Canadian couples) enjoyed the Villa Liberty/Gloria in Verona so much!! The 2 bedroom suite was large and well appointed and squeaky clean!! A Fabulous outdoor sundeck made it even more glorious! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sunshine each morning enjoying our coffee and in the evenings, with wine :) The location of the suite is perfect; short walk to restaurants; the city center and Old Town just 10-15 minutes by foot. We had gorgeous September sunshine :) Close to Lake Garde which is a MUST see! Gloria was an exceptional host, giving us all the information we needed about the suite and the city. I would highly recommend this unit! We only had the pleasure of staying two nights....next time I would at lease double that!

Great!

Great apartment, well-equipped, in a green neighbourhood with many old trees. You hear more birds than cars, but two bus stops are nearby to go to the city center or the railway station. The timetables (different bus numbers at night and on sundays/festive days!) and some other information are in the apartment. There is a good bakery ("pane cereale" is recommended for those who do not like white bread) that offers also lunch meals to take out and a small grocery less than five minutes walk away. Gloria is a very nice and helpful host. As in other apartments, "satellite TV" does not mean that there are non-Italian channels, but you probably don't come to Verona to watch TV, and there is the internet.

Wonderful villa and excellent host

My spouse and I recently traveled through Italy and stayed in this gorgeous villa for 2 weeks. The villa is gated, and the rental property is located on the top floor. It's a very clean and spacious place, with a rooftop terrace that overlooks the safe and quiet neighborhood. You will also have access to the washing machine in the garage. In addition, you can park your car at the property driveway, which is a nice bonus, as parking outside on the streets could be rather challenging. If you also plan to visit beautiful spots around Verona (like lake Garda or Dolomites) I recommend renting the car at the train station (Autovia). There is no need for the car if you plan to explore only Verona, as the city buses run quite reliably, and you could get to the city center from the villa in 20 min. Gloria is a fantastic host, she welcomed us at the place, and gave us numerous tips that helped us navigate the city (and the villa). She responded to our inquiries via whatsap within minutes, and did everything (and beyond) to help us enjoy Veneto area. We are seasoned travelers, but we could not find any cons; the whole experience was enjoyable! We highly recommend this property, and we are sure that you will be pleased with that choice.
