The property was excellent. Very spacious with great views from all rooms, plus the two decks. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, as well as the game room (the pool table was a big hit and in great condition). Neighborhood was nice and quiet, as was the pond (no motorized vehicles)...both made for a very relaxing stay. Location was also a plus. We will definitely look at staying here again.

My family and I had a great week here. The house was spacious and had great amenities. My kids loved the beach, the dock and and kayaks. We spent every day paddling and swimming and watching the loons. The host was very easy to contact for a quick question. The location was perfect for hiking, shopping, and activities for the kids. None of us wanted to leave. There were views of the water from every spot in the house and from the decks. The water was always calm, warm, and perfect for swimming. Thank you so much for our stay!

Great House on Lake

This was our second stay at The Nines, great house in a great location. Right on the lake, 10-15 minute drive to North Conway, Cranmore and 25-30 minute drive to Attitash. Excellent place for families looking to ski, shop, and enjoy NH in winter or summer

Enjoy the lake house

We had our family reunion in this lake house for father's day weekend. We love the fireplace, the boating and well equipped kitchen to cook family meals! The lake is so calm and beautiful! It made our memories again! Thank you Michaela!

Absolutely Fantastic time

We had a great time and are returning next year. one thing we would like is more security for the garbage bins. We had a bear rooting through the trash one night and raccoon's two nights running. Firewood on the top of trash cans doesn't cut it.

2nd straight great year

This was our second year at The Nines. It really has everything you need for any crowd, and our crowd of 2 parents and 6 "kids" aged 17-23 all had a great time without stepping all over each other due to what the house has to offer. A great addition this year is the swimming raft on the pond. Combined with the warm water and hot temps, it was always populated, and since there are no boats allowed on PPP, you can float out to the middle of the pond on the floats provided. I will also add that the pond's bass population is thriving - take the canoe or kayak out and fish anywhere there are lillypads - I absolutely killed it with 6 bass and one pickerel this year. There are even bass right off the beach at this house (to the right). Michaela is a great owner who is quick to reply to any questions, and the process for renting with her is seamless. The house is clean and well-cared for, and is well-stocked with pots/pans/Tupperware. If there was one thing I would suggest to add this winter, it would be a king size bed in the master bedroom. Thanks for having us again - it really is the perfect spot for us.

Lake View in Everyone Room

My family had a great time staying at this lake house and this is our review. Here are the pros: roomie and well furnished. loved the large sofa facing the beautiful lake. latest appliance including new washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge. large main sink and pantry sink right next to the gas stove. well stocked utensils and cookwares including housewares. more than enough propane gas for the new bbq grill! water pressure is excellent! loved the outdoor shower with hot water, would have be even better if it had a bathroom on the bottom floor excellent beds! everyone complimented how good their bed felt after the 1st night. Here are the cons: the lake access was difficult due to the steep descent to the beach and dock especially to for the kids and elderly. the back yard was usable due to the steep grade and unpaved floor some landscaping work can make it much nicer entering the house from the driveway (front of house) tracks too much sands and pebbles into house so we end up constantly vacuuming the house. Overall it was great place to stay and the we all had a good time especially to North Conway for outlet shopping and short drive into Maine for lobsters.

We appreciate your feedback, which helped us to identify improvements for future renters. Based on your review, we made some modifications to the landscape so that it's easier to access the beach via a sandy path. Our kids really like this path vs. the steps to the beach. Additionally we've placed more mats and shoe trays near the doors to minimize any sand coming in the house. Thanks again for choosing The Nines!

Exceeded expectations

This rental property is 100% top-notch. I've rented my fair share of lakefront properties (multiple in Eidelweiss), and there is always something that isn't as advertised, but not here. From the minute you walk into the breathtaking kitchen/living area, you know you made the right choice. Everything in the house is of excellent quality, right down to the cutlery. The bedrooms are huge, the bathrooms are plentiful, and even with 5-6 people showering in succession, we never ran out of hot water. I will also add that the quality of the water from the tap tastes excellent, which is often not the case at lakefront rentals. However, the outside of the house is equally great. I greatly appreciated the attention given to the outside of the house. We used the fire pit 3 or 4 times, and there was plenty of wood, including kindling so I didn't have to rummage through the woods trying to find dry, small pieces. The hammock always had a body in it, and my wife could be found at 6:30 every morning with her Kindle, coffee, in a chair on the peaceful beach. The canoe and kayak are both solid and in great shape, plus there were two extra spaces on the boat rack for our own kayaks. P.S. If you catch a 14-inch bass with a small hole in his lip, that was me :-) and I told him I'd be back for another meeting. This property will satisfy kids and adults of all ages, no doubt. Last, but certainly not least, Michaela was great to deal with, from the beginning to the end. There were no surprises, and she responded quickly to questions I had during the week. I highly recommend this property - it is worth the money.

Perfect lake getaway

We were delighted with our stay at the Nines. The house is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The living space is open and allows for perfect casual gatherings. The beach is small in terms of actual lake frontage, but it’s clean, private, and there is a dock to swim out to that has chairs and a table built in to it. Never seen that before and we put that to very good use! We spent our days lounging, kayaking, and paddle boarding, all available as part of the rental. Our family has been vacationing on pea porridge pond for decades at a house that is no longer accepting rentals. We’re relieved to know the tradition can continue in such a lovely space on the same lake we’ve come to consider our second home. We’ll be back!

Lovely Lakeside Home

We enjoyed a lovely family vacation (4 couples and a toddler) at this beautiful lakefront home. We loved having the sandy beach on the property which was perfect to let the little one play, and we loved all the water toys for the adults! The larger association beach is only a short walk away and is also very nice. Be aware that the walk down to the waterfront is a little steep if you have mobility issues, though it was not a problem for any of us. We found the home to be to be as described in the listing. (If I had any suggestions at all, it would be to add one or two more chairs for the kitchen table and maybe even add a picnic table for the beautiful outdoor patio.) I highly recommend this home as it currently is, and we hope to return another year.

A delightful and peaceful way to spend a vacation

The home was just as promised. The view was lovely and the location is very quiet. We loved that motorized boats were not allowed on the water; it made swimming, kayaking and canoeing that much more comfortable and safe. Very close to Michaela's home is a public beach that was very accessible and was perfect for me since I had just suffered an injury. It also would be a change of venue for someone with young children, though the beach at the home was lovely and our young children enjoyed it very much. Michaela was also a very responsive and kind host.

Love this house!

This house is perfect for a family or several couples! With 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and an open concept kitchen-dining and living area it couldn’t be more perfect! It is very clean and has all the amenities! The owners are accessible should you need anything which is really nice! Only a short ride to North Conway for skiing and other activities! This is our second time staying here and we will be renting it again for sure!

Family vaca at the 9s

The location was wonderful, close drive to Conway and North Conway. The pond was awesome and having the kayaks, paddleboard and canoe was so much fun, the whole family loved spending time on the water. The house is nice, the windows give a beautiful view of the water. The house was minimally decorated but spacious and served our needs. We stayed with the whole extended family and made great memories! The owners were easy to get in touch with and were helpful, even providing local restaurant suggestions. Thank you!
