Wailea Grand Champions #50 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2nd floor unit (no elevator) with a garden view at the Grand Champions in Wailea. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen, king bed in the master, king bed in the guest room and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Wailea Grand Champions #50 can sleep up to 6 people. The view is of lush tropical landscaping and has a good location to the pool and parking. This property has window unit air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms, washer and dryer, Cable TV/DVD, and internet service.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

The nearby Ulua and Mokapu Beaches are a quick drive down the hill from The Grand Champions Villas in Wailea. The complex is surrounded by lovely tropical gardens. It is located in the exclusive Wailea Resort. The complex offers two swimming pools, sundecks, spa tubs, restrooms, showers and barbecue grills. In addition the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena are minutes away as well as the famous Wailea Tennis Club. Wailea Grand Champions consists of 188 units in 20 two- and three-story buildings. Each unit offers a lanai with garden views.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love this condo for its location within the nice Wailea location at Maui. The condo is near to all nice areas of restaurants and shops. The complex is nicely landscaped and well maintained. The rental management company has all the checkin and checkout details all arranged for a smooth process. The condo itself is well stocked with all amenities for a comfortable stay. Will come back to book again the next visit opportunity.

Great condo, spacious, and near everything. We enjoyed using both pools with plenty of space for our family (4) to spread out. Hope to stay again!

Best area to stay in Maui

Definitely a good choice in Maui. This condo is one of the cleanest we’ve rented anywhere. Nice layout and renos. Well maintained unit and property. Great quiet location.

Home away from home.

The kids called this condo “Hawaii home”. It felt like home, just warmer. We fell in love with the location and felt it was easy to get to many places. Lovely shops within walking distance and the beaches nearby are great! The view is a peekaboo, but with the beaches so close, we still want and watched a sunset!

Wonderful Wailea Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Grand Champions #50 so much. The complex itself is quiet and well-maintained and in the nicest area of Maui close to amazing beaches, good restaurants, etc. The unit had been upgraded in the kitchen and bathrooms, which was nice. It was spacious and had everything that we needed. One small note would be to refresh the bed linens and beach towels as these seemed quite worn. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Clean, convenient, and great for kids!

We had a great time here. The property is clean and conveniently located in Wailea. The bedrooms were quiet and each had a king size bed. Our 15 month old was comfortable and loved the pool! We enjoyed meals on the large lanai. Great supply of kitchen utensils and cookware. Walkable to shops and small grocery.

Wonderful Location and Condo

We selected Grand Champions due to its proximity to the Grand Wailea - where we were attending a conference. The location was perfect - easily walkable to the hotel and beaches are close by, although we tended to drive most of the time. the condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved that we could use the condos beach towels and chairs for our trips to the beach! The pools are also great - we enjoyed time at both of them. We will definitely consider staying here again if we get a chance to come to Maui again!

Fun time in whale season

Host and management were extremely helpful with letting us put our luggage and food in early. They communicated ahead of time with all the information we needed. Very clean and quiet . We will return. Thanks Beth

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved unit 50 very comfortable and spacious. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Maui. Very convenient location close to everything and only 5 minutes from Wailea Beach. AWESOME.

STAYED first part of nov. 2010

this large villa was immaculate and well maintained. Very clean, with ALL the kitchen tools you will need. (we added a few, but was not necessary) Even a small fridge in the 2nd bedroom, along with a 2ndcoffee maker. The slider doors are large and the angles are so you have privacy. Washer dryer on the deck. There is a second entry to the large 2nd bedroom, from the large entryway, which was nice as sometimes we came home later than our friends. This 'villa' is also well laid out for privacy between other cpl. staying with you, if you want that! Close to our favorite beach, little beach!

Excellent, spacious condo!

We spent a week at this wonderful condo! Huge space, especially both bedrooms and bathrooms. The lanai is also very spacious and looks out on one of the pools and greenery. We had two small children, and the space allowed for privacy as well as 'naptime', facilitated by good in-room air conditioners. It was also very quiet. The condo was well-stocked with towels, beach gear, kitchenware etc, and it was very easy to make ourselves at home. The complex is well-maintained, and we enjoyed walking 'down the hill' to the Shops at Wailea, ´Ulua Beach, and to the beachfront walk which runs along the entire Wailea property. If you don't like walking, it's a short drive down to these areas, and there is plenty of parking at the Shops as well as at the beach access lots. This is a great rental for 2 couples or families - a lovely space in a lovely complex.

Quiet and Convenient

First time in Hawaii. If we return to Maui, would happily stay at this unit again. Probably best for 5 adults max, but didn't feel overly crowded with our teenager 6th. The grounds are well kept, and the nighttime patrolman was kind and helpful. We enjoyed down time on the lanai. We were deciding between Wailea and Kihei and were happy with the decision. The overall ambiance of Grand Champions is quiet, but not isolated; units we considered in Kihei were in much higher traffic areas that felt a bit claustrophobic. Great restaurants like Lineage and Monkeypod are within walking distance up/down the hill. Trade off is being a bit further from the closest beach, but the Wailea beach walk is lovely. Very easy to get into the unit upon arrival. One suggestion would be to add where to find the office to turn in the parking permit form (unless we missed it, but we looked).

Maui, January 2024

The condo is as pictured and in a great location. Parking space was next to the short walkway leading directly to the door. The condo was generally clean if only a little tired - a few burnt out light bulbs and worn upholstery. The mattress in the master bedroom had what appeared to be an added foam pad - I should've taken it off and slept terribly. We would expect a rental in Maui to have beach chairs and umbrellas for four. This was the first time visiting Maui that we were short one umbrella and the owner suggested a local business where we could rent an umbrella. On a side note, when we arrived to the unit at 4, housekeeping was still there cleaning the unit. She was very friendly and we didn't mind but we would expect the unit to be ready as the check out is at 11 and check in at 4. Additionally, a very friendly agent stopped by to drop off two parking passes and was very accommodating and helpful.

Grand Champion Wailea

We stayed at the cond end of February barely in to March 2023. Great place. 2 pools/spas are kept very clean tended to every morning. Not super chlorinated like huge resort pools. The condo is situated just above the pool, spa, bbqs, so you can easily pick your times based on occupancy. Assigned parking couldn't be better. So close and never a worry that it'd be a scramble for a spot, can't understate how nice that is. The place is basically two primary bedrooms with a living room and kitchen in the middle. Beds were comfortable. My teenage son took the pull-out couch bed. I'm always a little worried it wont be comfortable, but my son said it was good after night one and said the same at the end. Very clean, kitchen was fully stocked. Washer and dryer is out on the large balcony worked great. I brought my binocular and spotted Wales ever day from the balcony. A/C'S are enough to keep the place cool. The location is cool, but I am an explorer and like to drive my rental car to new spots beaches restaurants etc every day. If you like to walk to the sand in 5 minutes or less, this isn't that. Parking at our top 5 beaches is no problem on the wailea side. We bring chairs and ice chests umbrella(provided) and snorkel gear so driving works for us. Grand Champions in general is a nice place with a laid back way about it. Great landscaping all around. This condo offers a great value. Jean easy to work with.

Gorgeous condo. Rude neighbors. Furniture wear.

This was our second stay at Grand Champions #50, the first during the slow time of the year, and this time during Christmas break. The condo was just as gorgeous and beautiful as we remembered it to be. Unfortunately, the furnishings were starting to show a bit of wear and tear. The king bed in the lockout unit was sagging significantly on the end (from people sitting on it to watch TV, I'm assuming) and the TV in the lockout unit was on its last leg (both issues were written up for the prop managers). Our niece stayed on the pull-out sofa bed and ended up sleeping directly on the couch instead because the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our biggest issue during this stay was loud, inconsiderate, downstairs neighbors. There was a family of at LEAST 8 in the condo below us whose children ran around constantly and knocked things down, all of which could be heard through the floor. I asked them if they could please be considerate of us upstairs, because we could hear EVERYTHING going on - including when their kids ran the halls at 1am - and he looked at me like I was from Mars. Needless to say, my request was ignored, and our trip was less than pleasant because of the constant disruption. This was no fault of the condo itself, however I'm sure less noise would have been heard if it were a concrete building - or if we had two retired couples staying below us.

Return Visit to Grand Champions

We have previously stayed at Grand Champions and always enjoy the walk to the beaches and shops. The grounds are consistently well cared for. The complex is quiet. We did find the pool area to be slightly noisier than we anticipated and quite a bit of BBQ smoke came the direction of this condo which is something you may want to be aware of if you are sensitive to this type of thing. The condo felt very spacious as did the lanai. Nice patio furniture with lounger and umbrella. The condo carpets are badly stained as others have mentioned. Even the strategic placement of some area rugs would help make this less of a turn off. The doors and walls could also use a wash/paint/freshen up. Otherwise the condo generally felt clean. I did get the chance to wash the kitchen floor after I broke a glass bottle and did note that although superficially clean there was plenty of ground in dirt. ( It is clean now after I went over it several times to ensure no glass was left behind). I also did a quick clean of the kitchen lights over the island - they were dusty and grimy..... The bedding was a nice quality and smelled fresh. Areas that can sometimes be scary in a VRBO were all clean and tidy ( such as under the sink). Good supplies in the kitchen. We always follow the use some/leave some principal in VRBOs. We appreciated the beach chairs/umbrella and large cooler. You may wish to bring a smaller cooler bag if you only have a few items to keep cool. There were no ants or other critters. Jean was great - fast and pleasant to communicate with. I have not received my damage deposit back yet but hopefully in the next few days.
