Wailea Serenity | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

This Grand Champions condo (#15 in building #2) is located in the heart of beautiful Wailea, a short walk to the beach, and in the middle of the renowned Blue Golf Course. South Maui, with the best weather in the world, is the ideal location for your Island vacation. Should you want to use your gourmet skills, the kitchen is fully equipped. If you would rather dine out, great restaurants, at a wide range of styles and prices, are located nearby, many within walking distance.

The peace and quiet of this lovely 1148 sq. ft. tree-top level retreat will welcome you and provide privacy and serenity, plus cool tropical breezes. Vaulted ceilings give a feeling of spaciousness and ceiling fans throughout allow the Maui breezes to flow through (A/C is also available if you need it). The very private lanai faces a lush flowering tree landscape and colorful tropical birds will eagerly visit you on the lanai if you tempt them with crumbs. Grand Champions Villas consists of just 188 units.

Recreation:

An array of beach equipment is available for your use, including noodles, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, and towels. Wailea's white-sand beaches are close by as well as excellent places to snorkel to see colorful fish and sea turtles. Two luxury pools (one a 'quiet pool' and the other where kids can be more rambunctious), hot tubs with Jacuzzi, and gas grills are located within the complex for the exclusive use of guests.

If golf or tennis is your thing, you are surrounded by a world-class Resort Golf Course, and adjacent to a Tennis Club that hosts many of the major amateur and professional tennis events. In addition to the Wailea Old Blue course, the Wailea Emerald course (an especially beautiful course) is close by as well as the Wailea Gold course.

Just 15 drive minutes down the road in one direction is the Maui Nui golf course and one can walk to the clubhouse for the Wailea Blue course. An ideal location for golf!

A casual sunset walk along a white sandy beach followed by an exquisite meal at one of the many ocean front restaurants nearby should mark the end of a perfect day in Paradise—and you get to do it all again the next day!

With 85% of days being sunny and only perhaps 15” of rain per year (mostly in Winter) in this part of Maui, one can enjoy golf or other outdoor activities most every day.

It is also near the Wailea shops for luxury shopping.

Great property

Stayed here in May for a quick golf trip and it was a perfect location with close proximity to Wailea golf courses and the beach. Will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our short stay at Wailea Serenity. The condo was very clean and spacious for our family of 4. The unit had everything we needed and more. It was nice to have all of the beach gear, even though we didn’t use it. Jude was super helpful anytime I had any questions. We would certainly rent this unit and from Jude again.

Overall a very nice place with everything you would need to stay in Maui. This property needs a little TLC. Toaster had broken handles, needs replaced. The toilet in master bedroom thebolts need replaced and tightened up. The soap dispenser by kitchen sink needs replaced as well. Does not work properly.

Paradise indeed

My family and I love returning to Wailea yearly and we often stay at different condos or hotels in the area. This unit was exactly what we needed and more than we could've imagined. Jude was communicative right from the start (right when I booked!) and so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely consider returning for future stays - provided it's available! Mahalo!

Perfect place for us in paradise

We hope to come back to Wailea Serenity again…had everything we needed and was close to most things we wanted to do. Big, airy rooms with high ceilings, well supplied kitchen, and big washer and dryer capacity. The welcome basket and at least a few days worth of all the essentials like toilet paper, shampoo, and coffee was a life saver as our flight arrived too late to head to the store and we were so tired after the flight from the east coast. Nice to be able to chill that first morning. Jude was very accommodating. Great stay and thank you!

Wailea this time

Overall, a great time in a great location. The condo was in the perfect location. While a little dated the unit was on the third floor so no one stomping overhead. AC worked great and was needed. The unit had everything we could want including chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Some snorkel gear, though the only snorkel needs to be replaced as it is unusable for safety reasons. Not far from a Safeway or Foodland it really is convenient. The SHops at Wailea are less than half mile walk and another half mile walk to the beach. Perfect location. Maybe, the best aspect was the property manager, Jude, was incredibly responsive when I needed an answer to anything. So, I would definitely stay here again when in Wailea.

2nd trip to Grand Champions

Jude was great. had loss of internet, Jude helped us out, found out it was digging crew up the hill, had it back by the morning. Clean place comfy beds AC worked fine. No issues . Washer Dryer nice touch on back patio.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay at the Grand Champions in Wailea. Jude was quick to reply to my messages, and was very helpful and accommodating. The privacy of the lanai was perfect. I loved sitting out there and listening to the birds sing and feel the breeze. We loved the basket of snacks, and my family devoured those within a day. It was very thoughtful. The laundry facilities were great, and having 2 master bedrooms was awesome. My teen loved having his own room. My 12 year old got stuck on the sofa bed, but he said it was comfortable. It's a bit awkward for the person(s) staying in the living room to have to go through one of the bedrooms for a bathroom, but it's fine for a family. There was some large pieces of dirt under the sofa bed, and the overall cleanliness was lacking a bit. Having beach chairs, sand blankets and umbrellas is a great idea and we used them a couple of times. However, the chairs are falling apart and I'd recommend new ones. One of the umbrellas was difficult to get to stay in the sand too- but may it was user error, lol. The AC was nice and cool. The unit blows right onto your face. If you have a spouse like mine that likes the room to be arctic cold when he sleeps, here's a pro tip- let him sleep next to the AC and use the king sized throw pillow as a barrier between you, so that you dont wake up to a frozen face in the middle of the night. I'm glad I brought my flannel pajamas! The grounds of the property were nicely manicured, the parking spot was handy, there was security on site during the night which made us feel extra safe, and the pool areas were clean and inviting. The upscale Shops at Wailea are a short walk away, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches. I agonized about where in Maui to stay, and am so glad I chose the South shore. It's quieter which feels more relaxed, and we had the best snorkeling experience ever at Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve, which is about a 15 minute drive. It's like swimming in an aquarium. You will not be disappointed. It's $5 to park, which is a heck of a deal compared to the price of a snorkel tour. My kids cooked up some mac and cheese, and I cut up some pineapple, but other than that we didn't use the kitchen. It had what we needed. We loved having a door code instead of trying to keep track of another key, and the whole family could easily get in and out. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jude!

Very happy!

My mom and I were very happy with this property! It was spacious for the two of us, and we were happy that there were three AC units throughout the apartment. We really appreciated all of the beach equipment and made use of the washer/dryer. Overall, we’d stay here again!

Convenient, Easy, Great Location

Jude's place was available for us just at the right time. We very much enjoyed the entire stay. He was very easy to communicate, accommodating, and respectful. The kitchen was well equipped and wifi worked great. They were doing New Year fireworks at Wailea beach, and while the beach is not visible, we saw the fireworks from the porch! :) I also loved that Jude provided body boards, snorkels, beach chairs, etc. for a beach day out.
