The hosts were very communicative. Property was perfect for hosting a gathering of family with the different room types. Location is hard to beat with its proximity to the ocean and other getaway staples like a grocery store and a brew-thru!
The property was exactly matching to the listing. Everything was clean and well-kept. There was more than enough room for myself and guest mates. I would definitely stay at this place again if I were to visit Nag's Head.
Great place and location! Walkable to the beach (5 min) and right behind Ben Franklin (our favorite souvenir shop). Comfortable for our group. Well stocked kitchen and big sectional couch so we could all fit in the family room. Note the downstairs rooms are not connected to the upstairs rooms (need to use the outside stairs) â which worked for our group.
Came to enjoy the 4th of July weekend. Plenty of rooms for our family. We had a great time. There are plenty of restaurants shopping grocery stores. A little bit of a walk to the beach so bring a wagon to carry stuff but know youâll have to carry over steps at the beach access.
The house was great! Great location and we could walk to the beach. I think it was great communication with the owners when we had questions. We used four of the five bedrooms, and the house overall was was very charming and pleasant.
This property is very well maintained. Everything was clean, everything worked well, and everything listed in the details is accurate. Hosts are also quick to respond to questions.
My friends and I traveled to Nags Head to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We had a great time. Cottage was close to the beach and a reasonable rate. We had a little trouble with the internet but the owner responded quickly when we reported it. Otherwise we had everything we needed for this trip.
Everything went really well. Walking distance to the beach and more than enough room for the 10 people. The only thing that was an issue was the internet. With more than a couple people on it, it became unusable. Cell phone service was good though so it wasnât really an issue. Overall, great place and great stay.
DO NOT STAY HERE. The down stairs had mold to the point you could see it on the piece of paper that was on the fridge . Our bedroom had an insulin needle laying on the floor so OBVIOUSLY no one comes to clean between visits. As well as the sweltering heat upstairs made it unbearable to even sleep in the bedrooms( no ceiling fans). When we tried to set the AC to a normal temperature so people upstairs could sleep, at the end of the trip the owners sent us a $720 bill from their own AC company to âre-program itâ when it was already re-programmed back to their original settings. Your view is an auto shop and a super far walk to the beach if you are carrying anything. The house is extremely out dated in every aspect. Scam artist at their best.
6 years ago my family decided to have a family reunion each summer since we live in VT, CT, NC and FL. Everyone agreed agreed on the OBX for this year's reunion. The house had plenty of room, was clean, in a short walking distance to the beach, plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Our hosts were great in communicating with us and suggesting about places to go, etc. It's centrally located on the OBX which makes it convenient to so many places.
The house was very comfortable for the whole family. Very close to the beach, and restaurants. Perfect for our vacation! And the property owners were very easy to work with. Thank you!
Very nice place! 2 block walk to the beach. Plenty of good restaurants very close by. Did have an issue with the hvac but owners were very responsive. Would definitely consider a return trip.
Raymond & Stuart Bulluck are brothers that grew up in NC. They jointly own the 5-bedroom Bulluck Cottage located at Mile Post 10 in Nags Head. The NC Outer Banks continues to be one of their favorite places to visit.
The Bulluck Cottage is located close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and 3 blocks to the beach. There are plenty of things to do while staying at the outer banks including visiting the beaches, fishing (Pier, Surf, Charter Boat, etc.), sightseeing (e.g. Jockey's Ridge, NC Aquarium, Wright Brother's Memorial, Hatteras Light House, off road driving on Hatteras seashores, etc.), in addition to some great local eateries.
