Great location, quiet street, right on the water. We had some rain & snow during our stay and the inside of the cabin was plenty spacious for our 1 year old and 4 year old to be entertained and play. Wi-Fi and smart TV were an added bonus for the evenings with the kids.
The space was so clean and tidy and plenty of beds for sleeping. We loved the views! Only complaint was the driveway was completely covered in ice and I had to catch my six year old from falling. But it was a great getaway and we would definitely book again!
Took my niece on a senior trip to Traverse City. Adorable cottage that made it a comfy place to settle into at the end of our travels. Even got to enjoy doing the Cherry Republic puzzle at night. Recommended, I'm sure the view of Spider Lake are even better in the summer, but it was still nice to wake up and look out at.
The lake view from the living room is amazing. The kitchen had all utensils/plates/cooking pans available, even a helpful junk drawer with odds and ends! Great updated bathroom and a smart TV in the living room. Recommend this small & clean cottage for two adults and maybe 3 kids max. The deck space and pathway down to the fire pit were beautiful.
This past week was just what we needed with plenty of relaxation along with lots of fishing and swimming. While small as advertised, the cottage is cozy, well appointed, and very well stocked with supplies. Plenty of beach towels, paper towels, and hand soaps along with a well working A/C made for a comfortable visit. The location on the lake provided great views along with calm waters being in the cove and the proximity to TC was just right. We definitely enjoyed our vacation!
House was exactly as shown in the photos & worked well for our family - 2 adults and 1 infant. The kitchen is very small & I canât imagine using it for making every meal, we only made breakfast each day. King bed was comfy.
This place was perfect for our family and a great location for getting together with extended family on Spider Lake. The home was as advertised! Very clean and well maintained. A great deck, fire pit and water toys. The AC helped on some hot nights. We had a wonderful time and look forward to renting again! Thanks for the memories!
We had a lovely week at this lake house! The lake is gorgeous, we rented a pontoon from nearby windjammer resort. The house was spotless and very well stocked. Owner left us snacks and a bottle of local wine (THANKS!). The fire pit was wonderful. My kids loved the paddle board and kayaks. Lake is sandy bottom and perfect for swimming and fishing. Plenty of towels, paper goods, hand soap etc. It was an up-north resort style vacation!
Very welcoming atmosphere! Well-equipped kitchen. Clean, quaint, and comfortable. Washer/Dryer a big plus. We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful and fun lake. Would highly recommend and stay there again.
We only stayed two nights and were gone most of the time. The property was really nice and close to traverse city. Water is clear and son even caught a fish from the dock. Was really clean.
This was our group's second stay in the cottage. As was the first time, we absolutely loved it. It is just the right size for us four adults. We spent two cool nights around the fire pit by the lake. Hope to come back again soon. Thanks to our hosts for easy communication as well.
Nice, relaxing few days. Place is very nice. Only problem, either donât use coffee maker or bring your ownâŠit leaks pretty badly, but that is very minor compared to the many nice thingsâŠGREAT PLACE!
Loved this property, it was so cute! The hosts were really great! I wish the tv was working properly because we did get a lot of rain and weren't able to enjoy the lake/deck as much. Also, basic toiletries are supplied, but make sure you take body soap! Kitchen was well stocked and clean, it's small, so just plan accordingly when you go grocery shopping!
This place was perfect for our family of five to spend our last vacation of the summer. It was exactly as listed and what you see in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for! Took the paddle board around the north half of the lake, following the calls of the Loons. Ended each evening around the bon fire. Couldnât have asked for a more peaceful weekend!
We stayed in the Winter and the snow was beautiful over Spider Lake. It was a great location within 20 minutes to Traverse City. It was perfect for our family of 4!
This property is perfect for a small family get away. The location is the best of both worlds, you have quiet and nature surrounding you, while you are only 20 minutes away from downtown TC and any shopping or necessities you may need.
The kitchen is tight, but it works. We stayed in the middle of winter so we didn't get to really take advantage of the outdoor space, but I could imagine it really adds to the experience.
The hill mentioned in the listing is no joke in the winter, an all wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle should be used if staying in the winter.
