Fabulous 50th Celebration

Our stay was perfect in every way! From the delicious wine and chocolate that greeted us to the relaxing hot tub and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. We were celebrating the 50th anniversary of when we met in college. The cottage was sweet, private, sparkling clean and provisioned with everything we wanted. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. We will absolutely be back!!

What a lovely, comfortable, charming, well-appointed cottage. My wife and I found it to be everything we were looking for in a romantic and cozy getaway to celebrate an anniversary. The complimentary wine was delicious and sitting in a sauna under the stars is a wonderful way to end a day in the beautiful Sonoma Valley.

Great rookie experience

Our first time to the Napa area and glad we stayed in Sonoma - more laid back. Residence was wonderful - very few VRBO’s are real 5 stars but this one is. Nice and quiet, nice and clean, nice and comfortable !

Quaint, cute, and comfy for a couples getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything you need amenity wise and in a great location - seculed and private, but just a short ride to stores, restaurants, and downtown. Accomodating hosts with great recommendations and knowledge of the area.

Anniversary Trip

We had a great week in the Sonoma area. The Farmhouse cottage was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Kathleen was an excellent host and made everything from the registration process to checking in very easy. The cottage had everything we needed for our anniversary trip. Would stay there again

Gorgeous Property

This cottage was beautiful, spotless and inviting. The hot tub is very private and the back patio was the perfect place for a glass of wine. Less than ten minutes from Sonoma Square. We loved it.

Cute and quaint vineyard stay

Kathleen made the stay great! She has wine and chocolate laid out when we got there. The location is quiet and set in a beautiful vineyard. Within 5-10 min of restaurants and shopping in Sonoma. Clean and cute cottage. Kathleen was very helpful and responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Property for exploring the wine country

This was the perfect place for my wife and I to explore everything the wine country has to offer. The property was comfortable, delightful, and exactly as advertised. We were also lucky enough to be there during their grape harvest, and were invited to observe. Communication with the hosts was spot on (but unnecessary aside from pleasantries, since everything was perfect). This is a great hideaway for couples.

Quiet, comfortable, quaint

The space is not large but sufficient and efficient. It was very clean, with many homey details. Very comfortable bed. We traveled to several wineries and primarily used the space for sleeping. We also enjoyed the private patio and hot tub!

Wine Country Launch Point

Spent 3 wonderful days in Wine Country staying at the Farmhouse Inn. Kathleen was a great host and great with communication. The cottage was advertised and while it was too hot to use the spa the back porch was lovely. The kitchen and living areas were spacious and well equipped. Would definitely come back next time.

Perfect Gem

The “Farmhouse” was a perfect location for tranquility and comfort. Kathleen is a fantastic host and very easy to communicate with. The place was very inviting and secluded, and we felt at ease. The attention to detail is applauded. This was our first visit to “wine country,” but it won't be our last. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Lovely Wine Country Cottage

This is a lovely and well maintained property set amongst a producing vineyard (you can go taste wine made from these grapes at the No Love Lost tasting room in Napa). It's fairly secluded and out of the way with a hot tub in the private back garden. However, you're mere minutes from downtown Sonoma with its restaurants and tasting rooms. The manager was very responsive to our requests, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

The perfect stay!

Kathleen’s property was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for 2! We enjoyed the hot tub, complimentary wine, and quiet surrounding neighborhood with convenience to get anywhere in town. We would definitely recommend this spot or stay here again.

Sonoma Valley Heaven!

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful, serene and clean home. Perfectly situated right outside of downtown Sonoma and so well decorated. The attention to detail and all of the personal touches made this one of the most comfortable rental experiences we have had. The spa like setting of the back patio was amazing and we enjoyed every opportunity to use it. The front porch area was a great place to have coffee or glass of wine. So peaceful. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on. And that says a lot because we both prefer different bed firmness. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and the bottle of wine and chocolate left for us was a surprising delight! If we ever return to the Sonoma/Napa area we will definitely look forward to stay there again! This place was much bigger than expected and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It had quick and easy access to Sonoma and surrounding vineyards. The owner was very responsive to any messages. The only issue (very minor) was figuring out that we needed to pull up to the gate at the end of the driveway in order to enter the property. We’ve already discussed staying at this property again in the future.

I am a local wine grower who loves to share the beauty of Sonoma with friends and family. I have lived in the Valley of the Moon for over 34 years. I have grown to love and appreciate Sonoma's fine history and lovely vibrant colors of green fields, blue skies, harvest vines and the radiant harvest moon.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property has a unique history. It used to be a chicken farm back in the day. There was a huge fire that swept through the valley. This property became known as the Lucky Finato property which was the only one spared in this area. The property sits on an old creek bed facing the eastern direction of the valley. We have since planted a vineyard back in 1999 of cabernet in honor of my father, Francisco Roberto Maestas. My father had always wanted the family to stay together and live and work on a vineyard. Since his work took him to New York, the dream never happened. Until we moved to the property and planted the vineyard and named it after my dad. Dad now lives in Sonoma and loves to walk the vineyard and be a part of harvest.
