Le Galveston House est situé sur le côté ouest branché et populaire de Bend, au cœur du quartier de Galveston. Il se trouve à distance de marche des points chauds de la région comme 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Westside Bakery and Café, Victorian Café, Phil’s Growlers, Ariana, Paradise Produce Stand et The Lot --- notre tout nouveau court de restauration avec repas en plein air.

Il y a aussi d'excellents magasins de vélos, des pourvoiries de loisirs et de fabuleux bars à jus préférés des locaux à deux pâtés de maisons. Sautez à droite sur votre vélo et en moins de 3 km vous êtes à Phil’s Trail connu pour son excellent vélo de montagne. Chargez votre planche ou vos skis et vous êtes à seulement 20 minutes du mont. Bachelor et nos pentes de poudreuse. Le centre-ville historique est à seulement 15 minutes à pied, en grande partie à travers Drake Park le long de la rivière Deschutes. Peu importe la direction dans laquelle vous vous tournez, vous êtes au cœur d'un délicieux Bend.

La maison Galveston utilise l'énergie solaire et a été conçue avec une efficacité écologique à l'esprit. Nous avons utilisé de superbes meubles et matériaux uniques revendus pour rendre cette maison non seulement confortable, mais aussi chaleureuse et accueillante. Cette maison unique de trois chambres et de deux salles de bains peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à six personnes et offre un excellent concept de vie en «espace ouvert» parfait pour la réunion.

Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée, jusqu'aux grains de café frais, en attendant vos créations culinaires. La maison a le Wifi GRATUIT partout, vous pouvez donc tweeter sur la belle Bend, une laveuse / sécheuse pleine grandeur pour ces vêtements de jeu Bend et une vaste cour entièrement clôturée. Dans les mois d'été, il y a des sièges en plein air pour six, un barbecue à gaz et deux vélos vintage pour les clients. Il y a aussi un magnifique bain à remous dans la cour privée pour les bains de soirée.

C'est vraiment un chez-soi loin de chez soi, et nous vous invitons à être nos invités.

Perfect place to hang out in Bend. Well stocked with kitchen items, perfect back yard and a very sweet neighbor (our dogs were fascinated by his cats antics). Super comfy house and very close to Bend highlights.

Great property. Only thing I’d say is the fees are getting out of hand. This is across all of Vrbo. With these fees constantly increasing it will keep property owners from being able to rent out their homes.

Republicans not welcomed by neighbors

The property was excellent and the Property manager was great! The home was exactly what it was described to be! However the neighborhood is not fond of Republican/Conservatives! There was one particular lady that started name calling as we were walking in coming back from 10 barrel brewing! I have political stickers on my Truck and Idaho plates that obviously she didn’t appreciate We were called white supremacy cause we live in Idaho and it got to the point the police were called on us! The property manager received calls from other neighbors stating we were loud but there are literally 2 breweries very close by intact one is right next store! Again the property and the host were excellent but if you are not a democrat or liberal and have anything on your vehicle stating you support Trump then you will have problems with the neighbors as obviously they don’t want Trump supporters in there neighborhood!

Great location on Galveston corridor!

We had a lovely stay here! It was the perfect amount of space for 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The backyard is the perfect size to hang out and play, and you are just steps from Galveston and a short walk to the river. The home is exactly as listed, and comes with everything you need (bedding, towels, stocked kitchen, laundry, etc). The host was very communicative and helpful. We definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, the river, etc.

Perfect location!

We've stayed at this property in the past and loved it. It really is in the perfect location. We walked to Old Bend (15 min), Old Mill (20-25 min) and of course right across the steet to 10 Barrel Brewery. Sun River Brewery is about a 2min walk and they have great food...and beer of course. The house is well cared for and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Another good stay

Return guests for a reason - easily walkable to breweries, restaurants/cafes, old town and Old Mill districts, parks, and the river. Quick access to the mountain. Plenty of space for meals with family and friends. Fully fenced yard the best feature per our dogs. :-) Easy check in/out. Plenty of parking. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and hope to make this a more regular trip.

Great Inner Bend location

This is a nice updated older home just off NW Galveston which is a great trendy street for food and drinks. You can walk or ride to downtown. The house is well equipped and lacked nothing we needed. Lastly, this property was also dog friendly but we saw no evidence of other dogs when we stayed. We will certainly consider staying here again.

Rented this property for a long weekend getaway and it was just what we needed. Clean, excellent location, walking distance to just about anything you will need. Large fenced back yard, hot tub and plenty of good times. Thank you.

Location

One of the best locations in Bend. Walk to everything and enjoy great restaurants just blocks away. The house was very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Enjoy evenings in the hot tub even in the cold spring weather that came through.

Unbeatable Location with all the amenities

We rented this house for two weeks in Bend. You can’t be the location to great restaurants, Drake park (and the floating take out point), and downtown. We loved being able to walk everywhere and not deal with traffic or parking hassles. We even walked our paddle boards down to Mirror Pond and back. The yard is a great and hot tub was a great bonus. Best of all, we could put our names in at the nearby restaurants and wait for our table back at the house.

Location and comfort

Easy from start to finish. Good communication with property manager. Location is great - coffee shops and breweries within a couple blocks (or less). River only a few blocks away, and a nice easy walk along the river to downtown (Old Mill District?). Our dogs loved the yard. How convenient to sit in the hot tub and let them play. Looking forward to returning in summer.

Good location/amenities slightly lacking

Home is located in a great location for walking to many of the Bend attractions. Check in and out is very easy, and the hot tub and garage were great bonuses during our winter stay. Improvements could be made in cleaning (soap scum on faucets, bathroom fan covered in dark dust, trim boards appeared dirty), but my guess is that the property has high use and doesn’t have much time for a deeper clean in between turn over. A lot of things also seem to be in need of replacing - kitchen utensils didn’t work well (dull knives/peeler, melted spatula that broke partway through, dishwasher that didn’t want to start unless you pressed very hard on the door). I was also surprised by how much cleaning/tasks were required of the renter, but that was likely my own fault for not reading the rental agreement more closely. Overall, it was a good place to stay, and it was great to be able to bring our dog along as well.

Great stay in Bend - ideal location for walkable things to do

Great place to stay for us. I can imagine this will be a very convenient place to stay with walkability to restaurants and things to do once we’re past this pandemic. The place was spotless and is clearly being rigorously cleaned after each guest.

My favorite feature about this property: the garage! I know, this is a weird thing to choose because it's just a good ol' one car, attached garage... but it is great for storing all your outdoor gear, bikes, boats, coolers, skis, etc.. or you can just simply park in it. Garages on the west side of Bend are a rare find (since most of the homes pre-date the garage craze) so having one here exclusively for guest use is an added bonus!
