Surrounded by enchanting parkland and a large forest and lake area between Lower and Upper Lusatia, our holiday flats are located close to the centre of WeiĂwasser on a road with little traffic. Shopping facilities, bakeries, restaurants, cafĂ©s and shops are in the immediate vicinity. The railway station and bus station are within walking distance.
The quietly located, spacious holiday flat is on the 2nd floor of the house. It is fully, modernly and lovingly furnished. The flat has a bedroom with a double bed (1.80 m wide) and a bedroom with two single beds (0.90 m wide), a living room with a pull-out double sofa bed for 2 people, a 2-seater, flat-screen TV and radio, as well as a room with a double sofa bed for an additional person. A spacious, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle, as well as a large bathroom with shower, WC and bathtub are also part of the flat. A further WC is located in a separate room in the stairwell. In the house there are two smaller 2-room holiday flats on the first floor, as well as a washing machine room. An extra bed is possible.
The large garden invites you to relax, play and let off steam. Space for a seating area, barbecue and much more. On the fenced property there are car parking spaces and an outbuilding with a secure bicycle room and garage. There is also a small workshop for repairing bicycles.
For a small extra charge, we can provide you with two bicycles and 2 children's bikes. There is also a travel cot and a cot for small children in the holiday home and guided cycle tours can be arranged with the landlord. .
The accommodation is very suitable for families, couples, single travellers, cyclists, hikers, those interested in culture and bathers. There are very well-developed cycle paths on which you can easily reach all destinations undisturbed, free from car traffic. The cycle paths are connected to the Spree cycle path and the Neisse-Oder cycle path. The accommodation can be reached on foot from the railway station in approx. 8 minutes. The town centre with several shops, restaurants and cafĂ©s is just a few hundred metres from the flat and a small lake with a lido. The zoo is right next door. The largest landscape park in Central Europe, the FĂŒrst-PĂŒckler Park in Bad Muskau, can be easily reached by car, bike or the forest railway (station approx. 800 metres from the accommodation). The castle and park are a UNESCO cultural heritage site and are unique. The large open-air rhododendron park in Kromlau is only 5 kilometres from the flat. A section of the forest railway, which is one of the attractions in WeiĂwasser, also leads there. If you are interested in the customs of the Sorbs living here, you can find out more at the Sorbian cultural centre in Schleife. The glass museum in WeiĂwasser, the open-air museum in Sagar, the dinosaur park in Kleinwelka and the Polish market on the German-Polish border are also interesting excursion destinations. Lake Halbendorf with its water sports centre and large beach is around 6 km from the accommodation. The largest lake in Saxony, BĂ€rwalder See, can be reached in 15 minutes by car. A stopover at the unique boulder park in Nochten is highly recommended. The Lusatian Lake District in the direction of Hoyerswerda and Senftenberg, the cultural city of Dresden and the mountainous Upper Lusatia are also interesting excursion destinations. The historic town of Görlitz and the Spreewald can be reached quickly by train, which runs hourly between Cottbus and Görlitz.
