Welcome to the Ostend Bungalow in Mission Beach! Designed by renowned interior designer Catalina View and stylist Mandy Marie, this professionally curated beach bungalow is one of the most photogenic Airbnbs in San Diego—perfect for your next vacation rental stay.

Our spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom home features queen beds in every bedroom, ensuring comfort for you and your guests. The hallway bathroom includes a bathtub with a shower, while the master bathroom features a spacious stand-alone shower. You’ll find TVs in two of the bedrooms and in the living room, with complimentary cable available in the living room—ideal for sports fans and cozy nights in.

Step outside to enjoy four beach chairs and six beach towels, perfect for relaxing on the sand. After a day at the beach, fire up the BBQ grill and gather around the outdoor firepit to roast s’mores. (Note: We have two propane tanks, but guests are responsible for refilling them if they run out mid-stay.)

Our Mission Beach bungalow is walking distance to some of the best restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Head to Miss B’s Coconut Club for a festive cocktail, or grab the “BEST DRINK EVER” at Better Buzzed to fuel your beach adventures.

Parking: We have a garage, but it’s small (my GMC Yukon Denali doesn’t fit). You’ll find street parking and additional parking at the Mission Bay Aquatics Center lot within walking distance. Please note: Parking can be challenging from May through August, so bring patience!

This bohemian bungalow does NOT share any walls with the other house and has a private entrance accessed via an electronic keypad. Everything is all one story, offering a seamless and comfortable layout.

Guests will have access to the house as well as the front patio.

The laundry area is located inside the garage and is shared with the upstairs unit. Please note that the cleaning staff may occasionally use the laundry machine to clean items for the upstairs unit.

I live in Orange County, CA, therefore I will not be there to greet my guests in person!

Less then a five minute walk you will be at the beach! There is a surfing school that is also close by where you can rent bikes, roller blades, surfboards, etc. This bungalow is conveniently located walking distance to Better Buzzed Coffee, Miss B`s Coconut Club, Guava, Olive, and more! Our home is also located very close to a bus stop making it very easy to travel around San Diego. Sea World is only a ten minute drive. Pacific Beach is a quick UBER or Lyft (3 minutes) or a 10-15 minute walk along the boardwalk. We also have board games and cards inside the house for a rainy day.

We suggest ride share to get around SD. However, there is a bus stop that is a thirty second walk away.
- NO noise past 10pm. Guests will be responsible for fine and pay an additional $500 on top of the fine, should the San Diego Police come to the house for a complaint.

- Guests MUST ask for permission if more than 6 people are at the house.
$150 fine/ per person if host finds more than 6 guests.

- NO smoking or vaping inside the house. $500 additional cleaning fee.

- Treat our furniture like your own

- No eating or drinking on couch
