The Space:

Experience scenic, outdoorsy Bend from this spacious Craftsman vacation home in a quiet northwest neighborhood. There's a big front porch for sipping morning coffee and an enclosed backyard with a firepit and gas grill - perfect for family gatherings. Enjoy a superb location just a short bike ride or 15 minute walk to all of Bend's downtown attractions.



Inside, you'll be greeted with hardwood flooring, tall ceilings, and an array of comfortable furniture for relaxing. A gas fireplace gives the room a cozy ambiance and a cable TV with a DVD player is great for movie nights. Throughout the home, you'll find books to peruse and board games to play. Whip up favorite recipes in the full kitchen, featuring granite countertops, a gas range, and a large center island with seating. Find more dining space at the eat-in kitchen table, then gather for family meals in the dining room. The primary suite has a spa-like jetted tub, while the washer/dryer and WiFi add convenience during your stay.



Step out your back gate and discover fantastic mountain biking trails, including the famous Phil's Trail Complex. You're also conveniently located close to the desirable shops and restaurants in Northwest Crossing and Galveston Avenue. A leisurely walk down Galveston Avenue will bring you across the Deschutes River and into downtown Bend. Spend the day exploring Drake Park, snack and imbibe on some barbecue shrimp and cocktails at Zydeco Kitchen. A short drive away is the Old Mill District, where you'll find shops and even more dining options. Century Drive is just down the hill, which takes you to Mt. Bachelor (roughly a 30-minute drive) for winter skiing and snow boarding and the Cascades Lake Loop with incredible scenery of mountain lakes and lush meadows. Also along this drive is the Virginia Meissner SnoPark (14 miles west of Bend), with over 40 km groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Beautiful home base for Bend adventuring

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It’s a great location near shopping, restaurants and Drake Park. We enjoyed the walking trail behind the home and the hot tub and back yard were a wonderful treat. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a lovely location

This home was a comfortable and spacious home base for our Bend adventuring. We loved the easy to access walking path right outside the back gate, and the home’s closeness to many restaurants and Drake Park. Would definitely stay here again!

Rating: 5/5 This house has all the amenities The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The binder full of information was very helpful and the check in and out was very smooth. The house was close to everything - hiking trails, great food and breweries, produce stand.

We have stayed here before and love this house and the location. It is a big house with a nice bedroom, kitchen and living room and plenty of room. The back porch and yard could use a little cleaning up. A few hours with a leaf blower, broom, lawn mower and rake would go a long way.

My family and I truly enjoyed this home, we were able to visit here with family that live in the area and had a lovely time. So close to shopping and all the activities. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for mother-in-law and the fenced backyard was great for the kids. Everything was clean and comfy. Thank you.

Nice spot on west side

Nice location, big home, super convenient. Had everything we needed in house, kitchen, hot tub. We biked out the door to trails on the west side during day, then walked to food nearby at night, tons within 15-30 min walk. Overall good value. Living area is pretty dark even on a sunny day. Would stay again.

Good Location. Hot tub works well. House needs some love. It has been well used and needs a thorough spring clean and upgrades to carpets, paint etc. Fridge was not clean and surfaces were dusty.

A nice jaunt to Bend.

We went to the downtown area and did some shopping. I was the winner ... most bags. Dined at the Deschutes Brewery & enjoyed an ice cream from Goody's Chocolates. We tried Oblivion Brewing Co. which is close by. Some of us walked home from there. Overall the weekend was lovely. Always too short.

Busy days in Bend

We were in Bend to empty 3 storage units. Having access to a home rather than a hotel made the “job” more relaxing. I had permission to use the garage which was a huge help. After a busy day, my daughter and granddaughter were able to relax in the hot tub. The house location was also close to downtown, the Old Mill area, grocery shopping as well as really good restaurants. We are familiar with Bend, but it might be a good idea to have a list of restaurants etc. Norma .

the ac must be set on a timer as we had difficulty cooling the bedroom over the garage. it heats up and needs adjusting in the summertime.

The property was awesome.

I used Vrbo as the search engine to find a vacation property. Vrbo website directed me to Vacasa, who I rented my house through. I paid Vacasa for the rental fee, taxes and other fees. Then I got another $100 charge on my credit card a few days later. Turns out it was from Vrbo....just for using their site! (a fairly recent decision to start charging this fee). Ridiculous! I will never use Vrbo again.

Comfortable and Good Location

We stayed for a long weekend to ski Mt. Bachelor and check out Bend. Great location for both - 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor and 5 minute drive to Wall St and Bond St for shopping and restaurants. More restaurants closer too and you could walk if the roads aren’t snow covered. The house was comfortable and the hot tub was nice. With Vacasa management we arrived to a very steep driveway with 8” of snow that hadn’t been shoveled. Same for the walk, porch steps, and back porch to the hot tub. Response from Vacasa appeared to be an AI generated quote about a steep drive. So I shoveled and were able to get in and out. If you stay in the winter, AWD or 4WD is a must as they don’t plow the neighborhood and there would be no way to get to the house, much less up the drive. Some dirty pans and the tub had hair in it, and not many towels, but beds and house were clean otherwise and comfortable.

Lovely, large house fully equipped

Great house. Master with ensuite bath and big tub, queen upstairs and bunkbed room. Separate room over garage with fold-out queen sleeper and a cot. Enough seating for plenty and fully equipped kitchen with a few supplies for a baby like pack-n-play and high chair. Great! Sink didn't work correctly in master as it's very outdated in brass and couldn't be fixed by Vacasa - owners could updated fixtures for sure. Also, toaster didn't work but Vacasa said they would fix it but we checked out before there return. Driveway was pure ice and stairs up to front door were dangerous. Keep this in mind if you are planning on visiting in winter with an elderly person or young children, etc. Vacasa was responsive though and Lee the on-site repairman was incredibly kind. Overall - would rent again in a heart beat.
