The Space:
From the moment you pull up to the striking charcoal board-and-batten exterior with its timber-framed entryways, you sense this isn't your average mountain rental. Step inside through the mudroom — a welcome feature for ski and hiking trips — drop your gear in the attached garage, and let the home unfold across three well-appointed floors.
First Floor — Lower Living + Sunroom
The first floor sets the tone for relaxed mountain living. A spacious living room anchors this level, featuring a sectional sofa, 55" smart TV (Spectrum with HBO & Max included), gas fireplace, and built-in shelving with mountain-inspired art. This room flows directly into the sunroom — a light-flooded retreat wrapped in windows overlooking Kearsarge Brook. With plush leather seating, swivel chairs, and its own mini-split AC unit, the sunroom is equally perfect for morning coffee or evening wind-downs with the sound of the brook filling the air.
A full bathroom and laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer are also conveniently located on this level, along with the private garage — accessible to guests for storing skis, bikes, or snow gear.
Second Floor — Main Living, Kitchen & Primary Bedroom
Head up the open-riser staircase to the heart of the home: a bright, open-concept second floor where the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow seamlessly together. The living room features another gas fireplace, a 55" smart TV, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a large deck with outdoor dining — the perfect perch above the treetops with Kearsarge Brook below.
The kitchen is where the group gathers. Custom cabinetry with warm wood tones, stainless appliances including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave surround a peninsula with seating for four. Pendant lighting, a coffee bar stocked with coffee and essentials, and an expandable dining table that seats the whole group complete the picture. A half bath off the kitchen adds convenient guest access.
Also on the second floor is the primary bedroom — a queen bed with an en-suite full bath and a TV.
Third Floor — Bedrooms + The Star of the Show
The third floor houses two additional bedrooms, each with mountain-themed décor: one queen bedroom with its own dedicated work-from-home desk setup with dual monitors (great for remote workers) and a bunk room with a twin-over-queen configuration — perfect for kids or flexible group sleeping. Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is recommended for the area. From the property, the Cranmore base area is walkable in ski boots. Downtown North Conway is just a few minutes by car. Major trail systems connect directly from the property on foot or by bike. Winter visitors should plan for snow-equipped vehicles, as mountain weather can vary quickly.
Other Things to Note:
The primary guest making the reservation must be 25 or older. No pets. No smoking inside the home. No parties or events. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM both inside and outside the home out of respect for neighbors.
No skis, bikes, or outdoor equipment inside the home — the garage is provided for this purpose. Please remove shoes upon entering. Use coasters on all wood surfaces. Never leave the grill unattended.
