5-Star, 4BR/4BA Rustic Lodge w/ HotTub! Great for couples weekend.

Looking for rustic, mountain lodge perfect for a Guy or Gals weekend or a wedding/family gathering? We have you covered! This well-appointed home has 4 cozy bedrooms, each with their own private, renovated bathroom. Located at 3,800 feet elevation in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the surroundings are incredible, and the air is clean!

There is plenty of common space for your crew to spread out. The family room has plenty of seating with gas fireplace and a wall of windows to enjoy the sunlight and natural beauty outside. The dining area is also spacious and light filled and can seat 8 comfortably at the farmhouse table. If you need to log into the office for a few minutes, we offer high speed WIFI. Need to spend a remote day in the office? Two of our bedrooms have dedicated workspaces.

Unleash your inner chef in the gourmet kitchen with plenty of space to entertain and whip up a fabulous meal for your family and friends. The kitchen provides everything that a travelling chef needs to keep the troops happy. Six burner commercial gas range. Convection oven and microwave. Large refrigerator and separate wine cooler. Farm style sink, dishwasher, and trash compactor. All appliances are stainless KitchenAid. There is also a Weber gas grill if the mood strikes to take the cooking outside.

After a long day golfing, hiking, visiting wineries and craft breweries, or just relaxing you can soak in the salt water hot tub, and warm up by the fire pit on the expansive 1500 sq ft deck with twinkling overhead cafe lights. Or, curl up in front of the gas fireplace inside the cozy and rustic family room and settle in for drinks and board games.

Conveniently located within a 5 minute drive to all of Wintergreen's amenities, and on the 14th green of the Devil's Knob golf course. 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail. 7 miles from all the great Nelson 151 winery and brewery attractions (www.nelson151.com).

A beautiful house with well-stocked amenities. Each bedroom having a bathroom was wonderful for our group of 4 couples. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for dining and in the living room. The porch was also wonderfully set up, but it was a little too humid for us to fully enjoy. The location was a short drive from many local attractions so it was a great homebase for our trip. Highly recommend and would we would all definitely stay again!

Annual Ski Trip!

This house is beautiful and so well stocked with all of your cooking needs. The location is so close to the slopes and very easy to get to. The hot tub was our favorite part of the stay! We look forward to booking with them again!

Christmas Family time

The house was very clean and completely equipped with any thing needed. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Owners were prompt with replies prior to our date of arrival. Definitely would stay here again with the family! Plenty of room!

Perfect weekend getaway

Great stay! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to be back. Lovely spot right off the golf course and a short walk to beautiful sunset views. Wonderful amenities and kitchen set up was top notch. We’ve stayed at quite a few places on the resort and this kitchen was by far the best with all the things you could use to cook. Firepit and hot tub were great additions to enjoy on the deck .

Great weekend getaway

Our party of six adults with one being in a wheel chair were pleasantly surprised with your property. Everything was so clean and thought out and stocked with everything you need in the great chefs kitchen. The Back deck with gas fire pit was wonderful on the cool afternoons for watching the golfers come by on the 15th hole. Definitely a great stay and close to whatever outdoor activity you are into. Every room with an en-suite was definitely a bonus. We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future.

100% recommend!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs over the years, this has been the favorite! Great location so close to skiing/snowboarding/tubing and breweries. Every detail was so put together- the fully loaded kitchen with a spice cabinet, hot tub, easy directions for a cool lookout, the four bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows, gas fireplace to turn on anytime the mood would hit. Not to mention it was SO clean! Beautiful views. The owners were so responsive when the interest went out and we got it fixed! If you’re deciding between this house and another, trust me pick this one!

Family vacation

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfy and towels thick and fluffy. We used the fire pit, hot tub and the local pool. The views were stunning and our adult children enjoyed our many outings to wineries, breweries, hikes and Charlottesville attractions. It's an ideal location to the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. It's close to so many things, we couldn't possibly have seen everything. We look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely Perfect!!

We came to stay for our daughter's UVA graduation. This house is very well appointed to an Uber level. The host was very accessible for things out of her control like..the mountain losing power for 2 hours. We will definitely be returning. A fabulous home!!

Exceeded ALL Expectations!

To say we were impressed by this house and the property host would be a severe understatement! The layout of the house is phenomenal for hanging out. The dining room is huge - great for eating and playing board games! The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could need and has a huge fridge. Washer and dryer was such a nice feature, loved not bringing a bunch of dirty clothes home. The hot tub was lovely and clean - a great way to end the day after hitting the slopes. The house has an Alexa that we used to listen to music, ask the weather and turn on and off the lights. Super cool! The house was very clean too! We also love that every room has its own full bath! Beds were super comfy too! There is an amazing manual that provides you with so much information on the house, the resort and things to do nearby! If you do have any questions, the host is extremely responsive too.I grew up going to Snowshoe, and we always stayed in the same house every year. It was so great to learn the house- what to bring, what not to bring, how to operate everything, etc. I am so happy to say, we have found our Wintergreen house for our annual friend’s trip. 10 out of 10 would recommend this property—just not on the dates we want. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your property, and we are looking forward to returning next year!

Good but could have been slightly better

The house and the property is Amazing. However, we came up in the fog and the house number is really not visible from the road (yes, it is atop the garage) - my recommendation would be to put a small sign beside the driveway at car height with the house number on it. Inside the property was well-equipped and supplied. I will note and several of the guests noted that it could have been cleaner (dust on the floors etc.) The Alexa was fun (we don not have one) but it would have been nicer to have it connected to more things. The table top icemaker worked - but in a house with 4 bedrooms I would have expected a larger built-in ice maker. I was not able to locate a fireplace remote (I know that there has to be one b/c I have the exact same unit in my home) but I was able to operate the gas fireplace manually (switch on top the remote receiver unit). I also thought that the ceiling fan in the master ought to be relocated to over the actual bed (fortunately I bought my own battery powered fan for the master bedroom) The hot tub was simply delicious. We would definitely rent this property again. Thank you for hosting us.

Wintergreen is an incredible resort. In cold weather take advantage of the ski slopes and tubing hill. For the rest of the year enjoy the many festivals, hiking trails, wineries/breweries, and a wide variety of activities in the area. Visit www.Nelson151.com for an idea of what's coming up.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Close enough to ground zero to be convenient, far enough away to be relaxing and peaceful. Our rustic lodge offers a gourmet kitchen, 4 cozy bedrooms with premium mattresses and bedding, and each bedroom has it's own private, full bath. There is brign and cheery dining area with a farmhouse table that easily seats eight. The outdoor entertaining space has a 1500 square foot deck with a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor dining table, and gas grill, all overlooking the natural beauty and the 14th hole of the Devil's Knob golf course.
