The Hunt Hideaway - Your Wilmington home base for beach days, backyard nights, and easy living. Whether just for yourself or up to eight people, enjoy the perfect Wilmington getaway in this beautiful 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath single-family home. Designed for individuals, couples and friends, families, groups, and longer stays, this home offers comfort, convenience, and a backyard setup you’ll actually use. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or your four-legged crew, this home is designed for comfort, convenience, and easy living. Guests will have full, private access to the entire home, including the fenced backyard, pool and deck, and on-site parking. Check-in is simple and contactless with a smart keypad lock. The person making the reservation must be present during the entire visit. All overnight guests must be registered, and we will request full names and ages of all guests via the messaging system before check-in. If there are more guests than registered a $50/guest/night fee will be assessed. The neighborhood is residential and family-friendly, and the home backs up to open community space for a more private, peaceful backyard experience. The main living area features a gas fireplace, comfy seating, and great natural light. The kitchen opens right into the living space, so no one is stuck cooking alone. Our coffee area is ready for your morning or afternoon pick-me up. Our fully stocked kitchen lets you cook to your hearts content, set the crockpot to low, or enjoy pizza for game night! This is a quiet neighborhood—perfect for relaxing—so we ask guests to be mindful of noise, especially during evening hours. Quiet hours are 10:00PM to 07:00AM. Sliding doors lead straight to the backyard—perfect for indoor/outdoor living. This is where the home shines. Enjoy your own private outdoor space with an above-ground pool and deck and a fully fenced yard, great for families and pets (The above-ground pool is available for guest use, however it is not heated. There is no lifeguard on duty. All guests swim at their own risk. Children must be supervised at all times while in or near the pool area. For those not potty trained a swim diaper must be worn at all times while in the pool. For safety, no glass is allowed in the pool or on the pool deck. Guests agree to follow all posted and provided pool rules. Pool maintenance is handled by the owner through a professional pool service). Upstairs you’ll find all four bedrooms, two full baths, and the laundry room. Beds are made and ready for your stay (2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Twin beds). Enjoy our creature comforts like bath towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, pool/beach towels and chairs, and other various sundry items for your stay. Each bedroom has a smart TV (stream your favorite services), closet, and areas to keep you organized. Parking includes a driveway to fit two vehicles along with street parking out front. You’re close to everything Wilmington has to offer: Airport: 5 minutes; Wrightsville Beach: 20 minutes; Blue Clay Bike Park: less than 5 minutes; Downtown Wilmington: 15 minutes; Mayfaire Town Center: 20 minutes; Porters Neck: 15 minutes; UNCW: 15 minutes; CFCC Main Campus: 10 minutes; CFCC North Campus: 5 minutes; Novant Medical Center: 15 minutes; Easy access to I-140 and the bypass. Bringing your clubs? There are 20 golf courses within a 15-mile radius, with a mix of public and private. For your ease and enjoyment we offer itineraries for 1, 3, 5, 7, and 30+ day stays. We can provide recommendations for family friendly activities, couples-only itineraries, favorite spots (e.g., restaurants, coffee shops, brewery, entertainment, fitness, etc.), and rainy day planning help! Dogs are welcome with a $25/per pet/per night pet fee (pet limits apply). You must select the pet option and accurately reflect how many dogs are joining you. VRBO only allows a pet fee to apply to one pet. Our fee will be added and charged manually after booking if more than one pet. The pet fee must be paid prior to check-in to ensure a confirmed reservation. We will need the age, weight, and breed as well. By making this reservation you also acknowledge that the pool and other offered amenities are used at your own risk. You are solely responsible for supervising all members of your group (including any guests not on the reservations and minors) and for securing and locking the pool stairs when the pool is not in active use.
