Nestled on a secluded lot, this modern retreat features an expansive screened porch, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. Enjoy stylish, newer furniture that adds to the home's relaxed vibe.

Outdoors, you'll find multiple spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment. Unwind on the deck, screened porch, or in the custom gazebo overlooking a scenic tidal creek. Paddle your kayak or stand-up paddleboard directly from the property to the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway and Masonboro Island for a true coastal experience.

Indoors, the spacious family room is perfect for gathering, with the gas fireplace providing extra warmth on cooler evenings. When it’s time to explore, you’re in the ideal location: walk to nearby pubs, restaurants, a mini-mart, playground, and a public boat launch all within a mile. Coming in 2025, a multi-use city trail along Masonboro Loop Road will be just a half-mile from the house.

Amazing stay and felt like home!

I would highly recommend staying here! The property felt like I was staying at home. The location was very nice in a quiet neighborhood and the house was stocked with more than you’ll ever need for your stay. We stayed there with 6 adults and our toddler daughter and we had plenty of room. The house had lots of seating and the outdoor spaces were perfect! Jeff was very helpful and responsive through the booking process and our stay. If you’re in the area don’t miss out on this house!

Peaceful and comfortable respite

My husband and I stayed here for six weeks. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very thoroughly equipped. Everything is comfortable. The property is simply gorgeous and quite private and peaceful. Convenient to beaches and downtown and pretty much everywhere else you might want to go, with a few nice little restaurants very close by. Jeff and Ellen are wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. They have thought of everything at this house. We will definitely return!

Gorgeous House

This is probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, spotless and well cared for. The attention to detail and quality of furnishings were great. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and deck. Jeff was very responsive but we honestly had very few issues. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful house

Exceeded expectations on all levels. House was beautiful with a lot of unexpected decorative touches. Lots of usable outdoor space. Comfortable beds. Really nice master suite with office. Quiet friendly neighborhood.

This house is amazing! It is beautifully decorated, cozy and has all of the amenities needed. It is immaculate and very clean! The owners are extremely responsive, as well. I would rent this house again!

Beautiful home!

The house was beautiful and very comfortable! Everything was very clean which is the most important thing to me when staying at a rental home. The location was basically central to everything, about 20 min to the beaches and everything else such as grocery stores, restaurants etc were very easy to get to. We did a lot of sightseeing, finding all the spots we wanted to see where some of our favorite TV shows and movies were filmed. The owner Jeff was very helpful in guiding us with recommendations for dining, etc and very prompt in answering questions and super nice. We had a wonderful time in Wilmington and would 100% stay at this home again if we are ever in the area in the future! If you’re thinking of renting a home in Wilmington this is a great choice. Thanks Jeff for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Family trip

We came to North Carolina to see friends. This property was just amazing. It was in a great location. We went to a few restaurants near by and they were within walking distance. People around us were friendly and it was just a nice vacation spot. The weather did not turn out so good but we felt very safe where we were. Very easy to communicate questions to the owners. Would definitely recommend if you are in Wilmington!

Glad to be back

This was our second year visiting and it was even better than the first! Clean, spacious, and well-equipped for heading out to the beach or staying in and cooking together. We had everything we possibly needed and it really felt like true, recharge-your-batteries vacation. This house is the perfect place to simply unwind or launch an outdoor adventure: we went kayaking nearby with a local outfitter and it was so easy to pop over to the creek and meet up. When we walked our dog we could hear ospreys calling overhead, and the Spanish moss in the trees was stunning. Friendly neighbors stopped to chat and introduced themselves and we love that welcoming atmosphere. With luck, we’ll be back again!

Fantastic House in Great Location!

This was probably the best house that I have ever rented. Not only is the house beautiful, spotless, and well stock, but the location to all the beaches in North Carolina was perfect. There are restaurants and bars that you can walk to and everything else is a short drive. The neighborhood is safe and the neighbors are super friendly. The home is dog-friendly and there was plenty of yard for them to roam. I cannot say enough about the rental inside and outside. They provided bikes, beach towels, and beach chairs. This is an house for all seasons with outdoor furniture, grill, and fire pits. We would love to come back in the early Spring or Fall. Also, the owners Jeff and Ellen were super to deal with. They greeted us with fresh coffee and bottled water in the refrigerator. Thank you!

The home was lovely and exceptionally clean. The home is set up and landscaped with lovely well maintained trees and plants. The home has a nice screened in 4 season room attached as well. Very nice and affordable home to rent.

Quiet Neighborhood

The property was clean and looked like pictures. Based on book/instructions from host though, we were afraid to touch anything or use the restroom without getting an extra charge. The fans and light switches were difficult to figure out, but they were all nice. The beds were okay, and the bathrooms were good. The cleanliness was great, which honestly to me is the most important. But, this place was the most expensive VRBO/Air B&B I have stayed in and it was not the nicest one. Some of the extras were misleading, such as beach toys and kayaking. We had booked this place due to its proximity and ability to go to Masonboro Island to see sea turtles and dolphins. The kayaks were extremely difficult to use from dock and paddles were very short. Our family was unable to go to Masonboro. We went to a beach every day. The owner had chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella, but the boogie board was broken and there were no pails for making sand castles. We had left our beach stuff at home to save room and knowing that this place had this stuff. This trip was okay but disappointing. The place is nice and in a quiet neighborhood, but the reasons we booked it fell short.

Fantastic Home

Our family had a wonderful trip to Wilmington and it was made even better by our stay in this home. It was very clean and comfortable; we felt very at home in this house. The amenities were fantastic as well. The open floor plan allowed our family to be able to chat whether someone was sitting at the bar eating, someone was cooking or they were sitting in the living room relaxing. The outdoor spaces were awesome too! You have so many options, you feel like you don't have to go anywhere to enjoy some time outside. You could be in bug-free shade (with ceiling fans) or out under a large pavillion or up on the deck, drinking coffee or wine and enjoying your view. They also provided a lot for the home so you really don't have to bring very much if you don't want to. The neighborhood was small and quiet and perfect for daily walks. It was a great bonus to have a dock to walk to with areas to sit and there was even a bench swing. The owners are so nice and let us know they were available if we needed anything or had any questions. Overall, our experience was top tier and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when we visit again. Thank you, Jeff and Elle, for opening your home to myself and my family!

Beautiful home!

This is a great spot - 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, 15 minutes to Wrightsville or Carolina Beach. The home is quite comfortable, especially the bedding and sheets. Great layout and we made use of the screened in porch as well. Highly recommend and if I come back to the area, would rebook.

Comfort, Natural Beauty, Good Times with Family

Everyone always says about vacation that they are “going to the beach,” so we say that too, but this is our second visit to this lovely home, and we still haven’t made it to any beach. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We saw rabbits, squirrels, and quantities of birds in the backyard. We walked down to the dock at the end of the street and enjoyed the panoramic view. Close relatives met us for wonderful dinners nearly every night in restaurants of many cuisines. While we digested, we worked on a jigsaw puzzle. Our week flew by. Some members of our party threatened to hide under the beds so they wouldn’t have to leave. We had the best of times.

The Rain Forest!

Wow! Wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. It rained our first evening and the Magnolia trees that surrounded the porch made us feel like we were in a rain forest. Great centralized location and the neighborhood was perfect for walking the dogs. Oh, did I mention the beautiful sunsets? We will definitely be booking again next year.

Amazing Property!!

What an incredible property!! The home is just beautiful, and the screened porch was beyond our expectations. The owners have thought of everything and we could not have been more thrilled to spend the week here for our son’s graduation from UNCW. We only wish we had found this property earlier in his tenure there!! Will definitely be back next time we have plans in the Wilmington area!

Wilmington Retreat

The home was absolutely beautiful and tucked in a beautifully lush and private neighborhood complete with pond and view of lagoon inlet. And you wouldn't know you were so close to College Road. After a little exploring, we discovered we could get to Carolina beach without getting on main roads. Likewise, good restaurants, like The Keg & Egg, were just around the corner. Having vacationed in Wilmington just a few years we were a little taken aback by the amount of traffic, even on roads in the neighborhood and even in April. A merchant said said it was due to the bridge closure on the bridge that crossed the Cape Feat river downtown, but I'm not so sure. We lucked out with perfect weather. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental.

Do not miss out!!!

My husband and I took my father to a concert and stayed at this lovely home and it did not disappoint. From the fully stocked kitchen, lovely plants to the amazing beds!!! This home had everything you could possibly need. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We drove to Kure Beach 2 days and it was just a short drive. The host were so gracious and let us check in a few hours early. Our family has had multiple deaths the past month and this was the perfect place to start some healing. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

My wife and I have traveled extensively and understand what makes a great vacation experience. We have hosted vacation properties for seven years and this is our newest addition. We purchased and have lived in this home for several years. The house was selected because of its location within Wilmington as well as its private backyard and coastal/tropical feel. We enjoy working with our guests and get great satisfaction from the positive feedback from our guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We selected this home several years ago as a down-sizing opportunity. The central coastal location within Wilmington provides access to everything popular in 10 - 15 minutes. There are two restaurants within walking distance (approximately 1/3 mile) Whiskey Trail Restaurant & The Keg and Egg as well as a convenience store. We especially fell in love with the small friendly neighborhood and covered gazebo on the community dock. The location of the house in the neighborhood also provided a lot of backyard privacy, vacant lot next to our house.
