Adorable petite résidence de villégiature pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 20 personnes, 3 chalets séparés. Un grand 4 chambres / 3 salles de bain (10), 2 petits chalets à côté de chacun (5). Wi-Fi et câble inclus. CROQUANT, PROPRE ET PRISTINE !!! Récemment rénové. Entièrement meublé.

Cuisines avec nouveaux appareils, cuisinière / four, micro-ondes, grand réfrigérateur. Super endroit! Cadre privé dans une grande cour arrière avec tables de pique-nique, barbecues à gaz, foyer (approvisionnement sans fin de bois de chauffage inclus pour vos vacances)! tous à distance de marche de Saugatuck et Douglas.

C'est l'endroit idéal pour que les amis et la famille se réunissent. Situé sur la route qui vous mène aux plages, vous verrez donc des voitures passer, ainsi qu'une tonne de marcheurs, de motards, de joggeurs, etc. Grands trottoirs pour marcher. Galeries d'art et magasin de plage / location de vélos de l'autre côté de la rue.

Family celebration

Great place for family. Deck and outdoor space for kids and adults to gather. Cabins well stocked. Close to beach and within walking distance to store, coffee, ice cream!!

The perfect stay

This was the perfect place for our little family and friends getaway! It was clean, delightful comfortable, and a prime location. Angie was easy to communicate with and instructions were clear. We’ll definitely re-book when we can!

Family reunion

It was a great place for our family. Having 3 cottages provided some privacy and space. The large cottage was perfect for all gathering to eat, play games, roast hot dogs and make some mores. Location was perfect.

Family Vacation

The cottages were great for the multiple families in our group. We appreciated the central location to beaches and restaurants. Additional places for luggage and bathroom bags would have been a better option than the floor.

Reunited in Douglas

Enjoyed our stay very much! The indoor and outdoor space makes having a big group a breeze! We enjoyed Oval Beach and a pontoon trip on Douglas Lake. Angie was easy to communicate with and a wonderful host! Thanks for a wonderful stay and providing a backdrop to our reunion with great friend!

2023 Family Vacation

Main cottage housed my oldest son's wife and family of 4, ages 8,6,3.2 comfortably upstairs, my wife and I in the comfortable king room downstairs, and my 26 year old son in a separate room with his own shower - plenty of space. The middle cottage was perfect for my daughter and her husband, and their three children ages 4, 2, and 4 months. The smallest cottage held my other son, his wife and daughter of 2 very very well. Everyone had their own space and we gathered in the yard for evening meals and family fires. Great place, very responsive hosts and wonderful location. Highly recommend it!

Perfect location

The location could not be more perfect. You can walk to coffee, a grocery store, and downtown Douglas with all its shops, restaurants, and library. Lake Michigan is within biking or driving distance. The three cottages are ideal for large families with those who need their own space. The yard is large and perfect for lawn games, grilling out, and having a campfire. The only negative our group could identify is the internet is very bad, which made streaming almost impossible - we couldn’t even use streamers on the tvs provided in the cottages. Two members of our group had to do some work while on vacation and we’re unable to get strong enough internet to do it at the cottages so they walked to the library which unfortunately doesn’t open until 10am. We found workarounds, but better internet really would have made some things easier for our group. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Excellent Spot for a Family Trip

We stayed in Douglas as part of a family trip and surprise for my sister's 50th birthday. The cottages were lovely - clean, well stocked, and ready for our group. The cottages were adorable - very lakeside preppy. We loved using the grills, picnic table, and fire pits. It really was perfect for our family trip. Convenient location and plenty of private parking.

Family vacation

3 generations used this property for a family vacation. All ages really enjoyed it and the large backyard was great for all the sports they wanted to play. The picnic tables placed in the shade were great for our suppers each evening. And of course s’mores by the campfire on the last night. It is close to beaches and shopping.

5 Families making memories in Michigan!!

Our stay at Willow Tree was absolutely everything we could have imagined!! The cottages are each quaint and accommodating with everything you need for a relaxed stress free time. The yard was perfect for all and we especially enjoyed the nighttime fire pit. Added note……the firewood was provided!!!!! Bonus! Touring downtown Douglas and Saugatuck, we absorbed the arts and appreciated the small town vibe. This is a place to revisit, for sure. Thank you!

Great place for large groups

We were in town for the weekend to attend a wedding. This place is very convenient. It was clean, well stocked and quite charming. It allowed the 14 of us to stay very comfortably. the backyard is great as a gathering place for the entire group at the nd of the day. Angie, the owner, was very responsive to all inquires and went out of the way to ensure we were accommodated. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Douglass/Saugatuck area.

Cozy vacation

Had my kids and grandkids here for vacation. A really nice place to stay and relax. We did shopping, walking, jet skiing, sailing and relaxing. The only downside we saw was the wi-fi connection which was very sketchy…

The perfect place

This was the PERFECT place for our family's reunion. It was so clean, tons of space, beds and bathrooms for everyone; the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals for your family (pots, pans, etc.) and there were plenty of beds and linens/towels for everyone. The outside area is also very nice with lots of grills and a super great fire pit for relaxing. It's also incredibly close to Saugatuck and was very easy to get to everything. Definitely recommend this spot if you're staying in the Douglas/Saugatuck area.

Our stay

The property is adorable. It's only short comings were no place to unpack. There were no drawers or shelves to put things on and few hangers to hang. The scatter rugs around were not good for our group. My husband is 80 and doesn't always pick up his feet therefore bunching up the rugs. We enjoyed bon fires on two nights and eating out on the deck. We had a wonderful time.

A++++ Place to Stay!!!!

I couldn't wait to do this review and say what a FANTASTIC place this was to stay at! We had a family wedding in Saugatuck, therefore looked for accommodations for approx 15+ family members to stay together. The 1 cottage was perfect for the Mom/Dad and Son/Daughter in law to stay in and the 2nd cottage was perfect for the Bride's parents to stay in. The Main House held 2 families, gramma and all the kids stayed in the bunk room. I brought a king size blow up mattress to put in the bunk room and it was PERFECT all the cousins got to stay together! The back yard was amazing for us to play Cornhole, sit around a bonfire, lay in the hammock, and we even warmed up left over wedding food and put it on the bar table outside for our own buffet. Weather was beautiful! The living room was large enough for everyone to watch the horse race and we ended the night by everyone playing card games at the dining room table. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here! Angie and her cleaning staff were absolutely AMAZING! Everyone commented how clean the cottages smelled. Some family members even talked about making this an annual event! I can't say enough about how AMAZING this place is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both my husband and I are licensed builders and we enjoy working on projects. We own several vacation properties aside from our Saugatuck properties. We fell in love with owning vacation cottages and love meeting all of the vacationers that stay at our places. We are adventurous and LOVE to travel! We have been all of the United States (including Hawaii) Multiple islands of the Caribbean, etc.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We happened upon Willow Tree Cottages, a small cottage resort. The location is A++!!!! We are in the middle of the action in all aspects! From Willow Tree Cottage you can walk to the beach, Downtown Douglas, Downtown Saugatuck, restaurants, the main grocery store, the chain ferry, etc. Lafontsee Galleries across the street. Kirby Wine Bar one block away. Cute little beach shop (bike rentals/Beach rentals) across the street. . Everything is convenient about our location!

You will fall in love with the 'quaintness' of Willow Tree Cottages! The 3 cottages are in a great setting, a nice big yard to play yard games, relax and read or grill out and have fun!
