Lake Michigan beach & guest home in Saugatuck with frontage on the channel at the pier head with a great walkable beach and just doors from 1000 or so acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Can walk to beach with just a few stairs. Main home and guest home are great for entertaining with 2 kitchens; main home has 2 center islands and eating areas inside and out on a huge lakeside wraparound porch. NO Weddings on site but MANY wedding/event centers within a few short miles. New heated in-ground pool 2023. 2022 Hot tub. Guest house has 3 bedrooms (1 with king bed); 2nd with king and queen and private bath; 3rd with 2 doubles and queen and shared bath. 2nd laundry & kitchen with a ping pong table below with couches and a futon sleeper. Main house has 3 en suites each with king bed and balconies/decking on both sides of the rooms.

Book a full 7 days at both main/guest house in the summer Saturday to Saturday between Memorial & Labor Day weeks and included is a complimentary 4-hour boat trip with captain and private chef (please tip captain and chef). Food is at your expense. 6 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12. Both east and west wing rented together. Chef services and yacht cruise with captain available upon request but included in full weeks of prime summer. As is our 60 foot yacht just a few miles from our home.

Weekend retrear

What a beautiful home! It was the perfect place blissfully positioned on a breathtaking piece of property. There’s not one thing that wasn’t five star. Hopefully the owner doesn’t ever sell this home as we WILL most definitely be back next year!!! Unbelievable!! ❤️🙏

One of our favorite trips

The only downside of our trip was not being able to stay longer! The property was incredible with one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. The amenities could not have been better—from the heated pool, to the hot tub, to the beach…there was a place for everyone to enjoy with a large group. You cannot beat the expansive private beach and gorgeous sunsets. I immediately looked up potential dates for returning next year after our trip ended. It was truly special and I hope to be back here one day!

Simply Amazing!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Saugatuck or the surrounding area, stop looking now and book this property! The kitchen is wonderful and stocked with anything you would need for your stay, however, I would recommend that you have Chef Carmen prepare meals for you when you visit. She is exceptionally talented and super nice too! The swimming pool, hot tub, private beach with fire pit, pool table, ping pong table, and house all provide ample entertainment for your stay. If you would rather take in the view of the Kalamazoo River and Lake Michigan, try any window or seat in the house, grab a glass of wine and prepare to be amazed. Plenty of covered porches for some shade as you enjoy the panoramic views and feel the cool Michigan breeze. I have booked many VRBO’s and Andrea was the most responsive host I have communicated with. Finally, take some time to enjoy a ride on the yacht with Captain Chuck. The yacht is perfect and Chuck kept us in good company and was a fountain of knowledge about the area as we floated by. I hope we make it back again to see Saugatuck…Petrichor was so perfect we didn’t want to leave! If you do love to explore and can get yourself to leave the property, the surrounding towns are quaint and beautiful with plenty of activity and the nearby state parks provide hiking trails for outdoor fun. One criticism is…nope, can’t come up with one. Make the memories! Book the Petrichor!

The most amazing energy and views and beach in great location between Holland and Saugatuck and Douglas on the beach and channel. Wide sandy beach. Best Lake Michigan home in the state. 360 degree decking on the main home with a guest house. 2 kitchens, 2 laundries, hot tub on the deck, huge beach, 7 acres, boat watching, nearly 1000 acre state park just a short walk/ski down the beach. Multi-million home. May be able to have private chef (if available). Possibly a 4 hour private sunset or day cruise aboard the classic one-of-a-kind fantail motor yacht, Yemaya, docked very near the home at the Safe Harbor Tower Marina. 15 minutes or less to Holland, Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville with farmer's markets, the arts, great shopping and entertainment, live outdoor concerts in summer and the best beach. Architecturally designed multi-million home with great entertaining spaces. Jacuzzi tub and gas log fireplace in the master suite. Streaming TV's in most every room. Billiards and ping pong tables. Wet bar upstairs. Ice maker, warming drawer, double Gaggenau ovens, 2 large refrigerator freezers in main home and a full kitchen in the guest house are all very well stocked for cooking and meals. Great teak outdoor furniture and some Adirondacks. Beach towels and all indoor linens provided. Multi million dollar home with multi million dollar views. 2-story living room has new gas log fireplace. Lots of room to gather together or spread out for a little alone time on the deck, in the house or on the beach. Check out Serenity for a sailing schooner or the Star of Saugatuck paddle boat. Modales or Fenn Valley Wineries, Saugatuck Center of the Arts, Hope College Summer Repertory Theater, or Holland Civic Theater, Meijer Gardens, Crane's Orchards, the Saugatuck Dunes State Park next door to the gated North Shore Community where this home sits are all "to do's" on your vacation. As amazing all year round as in the summer.

Pier for fishing & boat watching. Some of the best low bluff, walkable beach in a great location. Gated community of North Shore of Saugatuck with marinas & rentals of boats and fishing nearby. Rent a retro electric boat or a "doughnut" boat on the Kalamazoo River, climb to the top of Mt Baldy in Saugatuck or Mt Pisgah near the Holland State Park for some of the best views. Visit Oxbox Arts Camp or the John Ball Park Zoo or Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, summer performances at Hope College's Summer Repertory Theater or at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Many of the local farmer's markets are Wednesdays & Saturdays (Holland & South Haven) & Saugatuck has it's own. Demond's Groceries in Douglas is the closest but Family Fare on S Washington and Meijers on E 16th St in Holland or Meijers in South Haven have more selection and better produce.

Spectacular all year round with the nearly 1000 acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park just a short walk to our north past about 7 other beachfront homes and there's hundreds of acres on the south side of the pier and channel that is a preserve so this 7 acre property feels like it's much larger. Bring your own bikes or kayaks. We supply beach chairs & towels, outdoor furniture, indoor linens, a VERY well stocked kitchen(s), streaming TV's in nearly every room, a billiards and a ping pong table. 4 fireplaces.

Newer hot tub. Backup power generators. 3 full size refrigerator freezers. 3 ovens total, 2 laundries.

Places for Weddings/Events nearby are: the beach at the Saugatuck Dunes State Park (no large parties at the house).
