Rent a retro electric boat or a "doughnut" boat on the Kalamazoo River, climb to the top of Mt Baldy in Saugatuck or Mt Pisgah near the Holland State Park for some of the best views. Visit Oxbox Arts Camp or the John Ball Park Zoo or Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, summer performances at Hope College's Summer Repertory Theater or at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Many of the local farmer's markets are Wednesdays & Saturdays (Holland & South Haven) & Saugatuck has it's own. Demond's Groceries in Douglas is the closest but Family Fare on S Washington and Meijers on E 16th St in Holland or Meijers in South Haven have more selection and better produce.
Spectacular all year round with the nearly 1000 acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park just a short walk to our north past about 7 other beachfront homes and there's hundreds of acres on the south side of the pier and channel that is a preserve so this 7 acre property feels like it's much larger. Bring your own bikes or kayaks. We supply beach chairs & towels, outdoor furniture, indoor linens, a VERY well stocked kitchen(s), streaming TV's in nearly every room, a billiards and a ping pong table. 4 fireplaces.
