The house with 300 m² private garden and sun terrace is located in a quiet car-free bungalow park in the second row of houses behind the dyke to the Ijssselmeer. The house is nicely furnished and equipped with all the amenities that contribute to a relaxing holiday. The living/dining room is furnished with a dining table and four chairs and two sofas with a small table. There is also a TV bench with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. You can receive all German TV channels via SAT. Dutch channels cannot be received. The two bedrooms are accessed from the living room. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 metres), a wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. The other bedroom has two box-spring beds (each 0.90 x 2.00), which can be placed individually or together. This bedroom also has a wardrobe with mirror and two bedside tables. Bed linen (sheets and covers) can be booked through our manager for a fee. From the living/dining room you can access the wooden terrace with garden furniture and parasol, which leads down two steps into the private garden. Relaxing sun loungers invite you to sunbathe, read and relax. The garden is surrounded by a hedge and is mostly secluded in summer. A barbecue is also available. The living/dining room also leads into the open-plan kitchen. This is equipped with built-in furniture and includes a ceramic hob with four hobs, oven with convection, fridge with 3-star compartment, dishwasher and microwave. In the cupboards you will find all the utensils you need for cooking, including a coffee machine, Senseo machine, kettle, egg cooker, blender and various pans and saucepans in different sizes. From the kitchen you can access the bathroom with a high window. This is equipped with a shower, WC and washbasin. The washing machine has also found its place here. The equipment includes a hairdryer and an illuminated vanity mirror. Towels can be booked through our manager for a fee. The house has gas central heating, so that the house can also be used in winter. There is hot running water in both the bathroom and the kitchen. From the garden you have access to the shed where you can store your bicycles, beach toys or other items. On the day of arrival you will be greeted by our manager, who will also be your local contact for any problems that may arise during your holiday. A WLAN connection, bicycles and a boat can be hired very conveniently and at short notice from our manager. As the house is located in a car-free bungalow park, you may only drive up to the house to load and unload (also after shopping). At the beginning of the park, approx. 50 metres from the house, there is a fixed parking space belonging to the house. The house is about 100 metres from the water and 500 metres from the beach, so it is only a few minutes' walk to the beach. The sand there slopes gently into the Ijsselmeer, making it ideal for children to play and splash around in, as well as for swimmers. There is also interesting play equipment for children and a beach volleyball court for teenagers and adults. Several benches invite you to linger in sunny and cloudy weather. The indoor swimming pool on the beach, which was built in 1012, is an inviting place to swim, and not just in bad weather. In the same building you will also find a catering establishment with a beautiful view of the Ijsselmeer.

The historic town centre of Lemmer is 1.2 km away. Here you will find many small Dutch shops that invite you to browse, not only in bad weather. There are several supermarkets in the town centre for daily shopping, including Lidl and Aldi. Along the idyllic canal that flows through the town centre, you can relax in the many street cafés and restaurants.

There are several marinas 500 metres from the house. There is a newly built indoor swimming pool on the beach and a smaller swimming pool about 500 metres from the bungalow park. Other activities on offer include Surfing, sailing, swimming, bicycle tours (bicycles can be hired on site), city walks (Lemmer, Sneek, Urk with its old lighthouse, Enkhuizen with its open-air museum, Oudemirdum with a lovely amusement park for children, Stravoren, Emmeloord, Kampen etc.), fishing, bowling...

The village of Lemmer:

Lemmer is one of the treasures of the former Zuiderzee, and lies directly on the Ijsselmeer, the largest inland lake in the Netherlands. The canal "t Dok", which flows through the centre of the village, connects the Ijsselmeer with the Frisian lake district. The former fishing village boasts various architectural monuments from the 18th/19th century, such as the lock and the largest and only steam pumping station in the world that is still in operation, as well as a large bathing beach. The surrounding area is characterised by vast polder landscapes and small forests. Swimming, cycling, hiking, fishing, sailing, surfing, canoeing, motor boating, tennis and saunas - everything is possible. The towns of Urk in the south with its historic lighthouse and Stavoren in the north are ideal for excursions by bike or car. Younger guests will love the small amusement park in Oudemirdum. The old Dutch speciality, matjes (salted herring), is best eaten while strolling around one of the well-known weekly markets in Lemmer, Sneek or Emmeloord. There are various events in Lemmer throughout the summer. One of the best known is the Skutjesilen with authentic old cargo sailing boats in July/August.
