The holiday apartments are part of a villa, a true oasis of tranquillity and relaxation near Palermo. It enjoys a magnificent panoramic location between the Gulfs of Palermo and Cefalù, by the Monte Catalfano nature reserve and the Solunto archaeological excavations.

The villa welcomes its guests in four elegant suites: three three-room apartments and a two-room apartment (a further two-room apartment is not available to let). They are fully equipped, air conditioned, soundproofed and have wireless Internet access. The villa consists of a main building and two annexes, of which one houses the three-room apartments and the second the two-room apartments. The villa was built at the beginning of the previous century and is the seat of the Istituto Internazionale Studi Avanzati di Scienze della Rappresentazione dello Spazio (International Institute For Advanced Studies Of Space Representation Sciences). The holiday apartment rentals serve the purposes of funding the research. Exhibitions and projections are sometimes held in the meeting room in the main building. The apartments do not have a washing machine, but the owner’s washing machine can be used if required.

The villa, which is surrounded by a shared garden with dense Mediterranean vegetation, is the ideal holiday accommodation for those seeking to relax body and mind and spend unforgettable, relaxing moments, such as in the pool, in the form of a natural pond with a water source and from which one can enjoy a wonderful view of Monte Pellegrino, the Gulf of Palermo, the Madonie and Conca d’Oro. On site there is also a central parking area.

A transfer service is available on request to and from the airports at Palermo, Catania and Trapani, as well as trips around Sicily. The house owner, who lives in the main building, is happy to provide information about trip destinations and boat tours.

In the centre of S. Flavia, which is just 200 metres away, one can find shops and services. You can go on boat trips to the Aeolian Islands, as well as fishing trips. Nearby there are the coastal resorts of S. Eli, Porticello and Aspro, where you can sample fresh fish and other local dishes. It is 30 minutes by car to Palermo, the famous Mondello beach, the little town of Monreale, as well as the little medieval town of Cefalù. It takes less than an hour to get to the mountains and the lovely Parco delle Madonie, where rare animals and plants live. There are many train and bus connections from S. Flavia station.

MandarinoMandarino is a little row house on two levels. On the ground floor of the romantic and elegant suite there is a living area with a dining table and a kitchen area. Indoor stairs lead to the upper floor, which has a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 190cm), a bedroom with two single beds (each 80 x 190cm), and a bathroom with a shower. A single bed can be added to the living room on request, which means the sofa must be removed.In the outside area, in front of the apartment entrance, there is a private veranda furnished with a table and chairs.Villa Paladino Solunto is a fully fenced property with two gates, one on public road and another on a private road between orange and lemon trees. The suite has a loggia furnished with a garden table and chairs, and a tent for separate from the neighboring one and guarantee the necessary privacy. From the loggia you can enjoy the relaxing view of the garden and an enchanting panorama of the hills surrounding the Gulf of Palermo and the well known Monte Pellegrino, defined "the most beautiful promontory in the world" by the German poet Goethe who in the 19th century came in Sicily and in Palermo he was admired by the beauty of the mountain overlooking the city.
