The west of the island of Rügen is quiet and nestled picturesquely into a wide, rural marsh landscape. Every effort is made to ensure soft tourism here. Your holiday accommodation is on the coastline of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft national park.
Every year in spring, and especially in autumn, tens of thousands of cranes rest here. Your accommodation is on a 3000m² plot of land amidst nature and you can enjoy an unobstructed view in all directions. The west of Rügen is still characterised by agriculture, fishing, crafts and culture. Farms, country guesthouses, museums and markets invite you to while the time away. The communities of Altefähr, Rambin, Samtens, Dreschvitz, Gingst, Ummanz, Kluis, Trent, Schaprode, Neuenkirchen and the island of Hiddensee belong to western Rügen.
Your holiday accommodation in the holiday idyll of Rügen is in country houses typical of the island, built with great attention to detail. Lüßvitz is in the western region of Rügen, in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft national park.
The Kubitzer Bodden is less than 500 metres from the holiday house. The endless dyke leads past a little forested area, called Little America. The property is just outside of Lüßvitz and offers a breathtaking view of the water. Far in the distance you can make out the silhouette of the Hanseatic town of Stralsund with its church towers. If you turn a little, a panorama opens up over the gently hilly landscape, framed by the sounds of the natural surroundings. You will feel like you are both very close and very far away.
Your accommodation features a traditional brick exterior and all the necessary modern comfort in the interior for a relaxing stay. The big garden has been adapted to the natural surroundings. You can look for your own little spot, but you will be spoilt for choice. A special highlight is watching the passing cranes right in front of the house. Children will enjoy the pond and playground on site. Mudflat fishing is very popular by the Lüßvitz pumping station, a unique holiday experience. After the closed season, most of the pike are caught in the flat waters of the marsh. There is no tourist tax in the west of Rügen.
The large living and dining room is on the ground floor, with an integrated kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven and fridge. The room also has a cosy sofa, which can be converted into a double bed, a fireplace, satellite TV and a large dining table. The shower room on the ground floor has a coin-operated washing machine. The upper floor comprises two bedrooms, with a parents’ bedroom to the left with a double bed, and a children’s bedroom to the right with two single beds.
