The Space:

Check yourself in via your own private entrance, take the stairs and make yourself at home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay right in the heart of the city. Relax and unwind on the inviting sofa loaded with cushions and blankets that sits opposite the large smart TV giving you access to all your favorite streaming apps to keep everyone entertained.



The gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped for your stay with quality stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker and all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils you could need. Sit out on the balcony each morning with a freshly brewed cup of coffee – or if you’re after something fancy, there are cafes just steps away that serve amazing coffees and delicious breakfast pastries that will transport your tastebuds all the way to Italy. There are two beautiful bedrooms within the apartment with each offering comfortable queen beds topped in soft, quality linen along with plenty of space to unpack. Bedroom two also offers a stylish workspace with free WiFi to keep you connected.



The two bedrooms share the sparkling modern bathroom that features a relaxing full size bath, an overhead shower, a vanity stocked with all the essentials and plenty of soft, fluffy towels. On the second enclosed patio area you will find the little laundry nook with a washing machine and dryer so you can pack light and wash on the go. Within walking distance from the apartment is Little Italy with many mouth-watering restaurants, happening bars, cafes, bakeries and great shopping all just a 6 minute stroll away giving you a great central base to explore the city.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full access and use of the unit 24 hours a day. You can come and go as you like and there’s an electronic lock, so there are no keys to keep up with! Guests have private access to the entire apartment and balcony as well as free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee and access to a washing machine and dryer on the patio.



The Neighborhood:

The home is located right in the heart of Downtown San Diego just steps from Little Italy giving you a great base to see the city with the popular Gaslamp Quarter just a 20 minute walk away. Whether you’re spending a few days indulging in the city’s myriad of beaches and surf spots, visiting the aquatic attractions SeaWorld San Diego and Mission Bay Aquatic Park, or exploring the inland offerings of the city, San Diego will not disappoint.



Perhaps the best place to start is in Balboa Park, 1,200 acres of pristine emerald green parklands right in the heart of the city. Here you can explore 17 museums then visit the San Diego Zoo which is always #1 on the best zoos list and definitely worth a visit. Find fun activities on the water at Mission Bay Aquatic Park, which offers everything from sailboat rentals to bike paths. Nearby, visit one of the region’s top attractions, SeaWorld San Diego or for a surf or kayak lesson, head to La Jolla, where water adventures are endless.



Explore can’t-miss shops and hangouts in neighborhoods such as the Gaslamp Quarter, the East Village, North Park and Old Town then be spoilt for choice when it comes to food with a mix of fine dining through to food trucks serving up some of the best fish tacos you will every taste. Walk to the Piazza della Famiglia, a central gathering point in Little Italy with 10,000-square-foot connecting India and Columbia streets that features a dramatic tiled fountain. Enjoy an afternoon stroll across the cobblestone street while relaxing before dinner.



Just steps from the plaza, savor the flavors of Italy in the Little Italy Food Hall. This new social dining concept offers six locally-driven food stations and a full bar with local beers and craft cocktails.

You’ll find delicious eats along Kettner Boulevard with distinctive eateries including Juniper & Ivy, Cloak & Petal, Born and Raised, The Crack Shack, Herb & Wood and Kettner Exchange. India Street is lined with restaurants featuring cuisines of both Southern and Northern Italy, including the classic Filippi's Pizza Grotto, featuring an old-fashioned Italian dining experience.



Little Italy also features some great local boutiques including Rosamariposa, Vocabulary Boutique, and Stroll where you can find fun women’s fashions and handmade local items, and the NoLi Art & Design District which encompasses a group of retail shops, design stores and art galleries. Klassic and Architectural Salvage are both worth a visit for home goods and unusual finds. Each Saturday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM, several blocks of Little Italy are shut down for the weekly Little Italy Mercado—a dynamic farmers market where locals shop for fresh produce along with gourmet goods, flowers, crafts and ready-made foods.



Getting Around:

There is no parking with this unit but there is street parking and getting around is super easy. There are on demand electric scooters and bikes that are just an app away and located all around the area. Most of my guest also use Ride Share programs such as Uber and Lyft.

This property is professionally managed and cleaned to provide stellar service for all of our guests! Think of it as a hotel-like experience in a spacious furnished apartment! All units are stocked with bath towels, hairdryers, Irons, and hotel-style body wash and shampoo/conditioner. If you need anything additional during your stay, please feel free to reach out! Please note that parking is not included with your stay however there is street parking and many paid parking options all within a block from the apartment.
