Welcome to this beautiful 3bd/2bth 1400 sqft home in San Diego's historic Little Italy/Banker’s Hill neighborhood. Eloquently decorated mid-century modern spacious unit includes plenty of space for family and friends and bonus outdoor living area with a fire pit, bocce court, synthetic turf and paver stone areas. A property this large and these amenities are rarely found in such a great location. Walking distance or short Uber to San Diego's top attractions (see below). Don't hesitate, book now!

Location, location, location! The home is the perfect location for anyone visiting San Diego for the first time or 20th time because of its fantastic walkability and closeness to San Diego's top attractions and activities.

The space:
This Spanish style villa was originally constructed in 1928 and has undergone a full restoration which provides modern comfort while maintaining the original style and charm. A chef's kitchen includes all the fixings and the dining room with table for 6 is perfect for hosting. Unit includes: AC/heat, walk in laundry room with washer/dryer, high-end stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, high end custom cabinets with slow closing drawers & hinges, under-counter LED lighting, beautifully restored original hardwood floors, recessed LED lighting and ceiling fans, solid core doors, custom bathrooms with high end tub and shower.

We are proud to provide a space perfect for the full family, including our smallest and furriest family members. We are pet friendly and this family friendly unit also includes a pack and play for the smallest members of your family. We've also stocked the unit with cards, board games and a Nintendo 64 to keep the whole family entertained.

The home is nestled in the heart of San Diego in the historic Midtown neighborhood and is within walking distance or a 10 minute drive to some of San Diego’s top attractions including: Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter, Waterfront Park, Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Seaport Village, Ocean Beach, San Diego Museum of Art, Old Town State Historic Park, the San Diego Bay, Harbor cruises and San Diego Whale Watching Cruises.

Walking distance to some of San Diego's best restaurants, bars and entertainment: Mister A's, Herb & Wood, Juniper & Ivy, Nolita Hall, Born & Raised, Kettner Exchange, Ballast Point Brewery, Ironside, Camino Riveria, Coca Maya, Cloak & Petal, Cucina Urbana, Azuki sushi, Crack Shack.

Fantastic place! It is our second time here. Plenty of room to spread out. Comfy beds. Living room is separated from the bedrooms so you do not need to worry about talking too loud in the morning for those that are still sleeping. Backyard is a big bonus for this area. Location couldn’t be easier to get everywhere near downtown.

The property is in a good location for easy access to the zoo and other sites we were visiting. It is in an airplane flight path, but the noise was not an issue for us. Our toddler granddaughter loved watching the planes. The property served our family well.

Great location in SD!

This is a very well located property! The place was clean, had parking, a nice backyard/fire pit, and the owner was very communicative. A couple things to note that don’t seem to be mentioned in the details or other reviews is there are a lot of stairs. A whole flight down to access the property and even some to get in a couple of bedrooms. Also, you can hear everyone walking in the unit above in the bedroom/dining room areas, as the unit is located on the bottom floor of the building. Still recommend!

Good Property but Very Noisy Outside

I wish I could give better ratings but it was extremely noisy while trying to relax outside. The airport flight path was so close you could literally see the copilot and the jet noise was deafening. The freeway is really close and very noisy as well. The property is well insulated so you don't hear the freeway noise while inside and the jet noise was muffled significantly, otherwise it’s a good rental.

Super Convenient Home

This was a great home with all the amenities. We were able to walk to Balboa Park, Little Italy, and the Embarcadero. (we were a party of all adults). It is also under 2 miles from the airport, which is convenient, but there is no escaping that you are very close to the flight path. The owner is very responsive and we had a good time hanning out there in our down time.

This property is very clean and easy for a family. The beds were great and the outdoor space was comfortable. Walkable to restaurants and Little Italy. The only downside or upside, depending on perspective, is the proximity to airplane traffic. We enjoy planes, they are close, but with windows closed for sleep you won’t have issues. Host was very friendly,prompt and accommodating!
