Peaceful Pet-Friendly Cabin Rental in San Antonio Countryside, Texas

Make the most of a getaway to San Antonio or the Texas Hill Country by staying in this charming cabin located in the woods of a National Wildlife Preserve and horse ranch. This sweet cabin with interior wood finishing and is tastefully decorated with collector's art of wildflowers growing in the area. It comfortably sleeps four and can accommodate up to six glampers.



The bedroom has an oversized queen-size bed and large flat-screen HD-TV; the loft has two twin-size beds; and the living area has a couch that pulls out into a queen-size sofa-bed, as well as a second flat-screen HDTV. The cabin also has a roomy bathroom with a shower. All linens and bath towels will be provided, beds will be made, etc.—ready for guests to move in just like a lovely hotel.



Besides the overstuffed sofa, a coffee table and antique "school desk" plus a nice cushioned chair make a cozy place to enjoy the High Definition Smart TV with DVD player. Netflix and Amazon TV with thousands of TV programs and movies are included for free on both TVs.



The roomy kitchen is complete with everything a guest would need to make everything from a yummy snack to the perfect lunch or dinner. A stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker are included, as well as basic pots and pans, the more essential kitchen utensils, cutlery, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, and mugs. A screened-in porch with comfortable lawn chairs plus a wooden side deck make for a great place to relax and enjoy nature.



The living room is a great place to sit back and relax, either on the overstuffed sofa, or the nice plush chair. Here guests can take a break at the end of the day and snuggle up while watching the HD TV or a DVD. Netflix and Amazon TV are also installed, so the kids and Fido can argue over Air Bud or Homeward Bound, with endless titles available. The screened-in porch is a favorite of guests, furnished with comfortable lawn chairs plus a wooden side-deck.



Outside there are grills and fire pits, so guests can either enjoy their meals at the provided picnic tables or screened in porch. 30 acres of woods and countryside provide the backdrop for privacy; however, the owners live on the property for 24-hour convenience and security.



The property has so many shared amenities so guests can make the most of the outdoors, as well as enjoy a rainy day.



Fire pits, grills, barbecue smokers, an outdoor, fully equipped "Cowboy Kitchen" complete with state of the art grill, dockside tables, and chairs, as well as picnic tables are available for cooking and dining in true Texas Hill Country style. Parking is available right by the cabin.



BBQ pits and grills (both gas and charcoal) plus picnic tables on the lawn, in the woods, on porches and decks make for lovely outdoor dining and since Vicky is a gourmet chef, just about anything guests need to cook with is available—just ask!
