Midway Retreat is a tranquil, pet-friendly getaway in the San Antonio foothills. It is perfectly located to access many attractions the city offers, such as theme parks (Six Flags and Sea World), shopping malls, restaurants, businesses, medical centers, and entertainment. This family and pet-friendly family home is surrounded by many community amenities such as a pool, playground, dog park, basketball courts, and soccer field. Our open-concept retreat is completely renovated and is ready for you to enjoy its relaxing coastal vibe. It has a fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, and large island table with seating for 6, ideal for family gatherings. Each bedroom has a dresser, hangers, and a luggage rack. Bathrooms include bathroom essentials, extra towels, and hairdryer. Need to work or connect? There is a dedicated space with a desk and monitor, or hang out and grill on the backyard patio. The hosts are amazing and so responsive! The house is in a great little neighborhood with the added benefit of a community pool. My family and I stayed here for three months after we moved to San Antonio and Natalie and Larry made us feel so welcome, both to their home and the SA area! Definitely a great spot for families and pet owners - close enough to the city to be able to get there quickly, but far enough away from downtown that it has a country feel to it. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Amazing VRBO! Extremely well equipped for our long-term stay. The location is very convenient, the place is spotless, and the hosts are easy to contact with quick responses (for example, we asked if there was a small stool, the host brought a new one to the house that same day). Very pet friendly house with dog beds and bowls, and both a neighborhood dog park within walking distance and a larger one about a 10 minute drive away. We definitely recommend staying here!

The Midway Retreat is an excellent property. The neighborhood is very good. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. My wife thought the kitchen was a dream. She loved the layout and counter space. The house has plenty of space for everyone. Very clean. Easy access to highway and getting downtown. We will definitely stay there again the next time that we visit San Antonio.

The perfect home away from home

Our stay was great in this ideally located home. It was close enough to shopping and family while tucked away from too much traffic. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect fit for 4 adults. I would highly recommend it.

Family Stay for Graduation

I rented this property for family coming in from out of town for my son’s high school graduation. The property was clean, organized and had everything they needed. My parents couldn’t stop raving about the place! Lots of space and no weird smells. Looked so good I thought about staying there myself!

Wonderful Home

This house was cute and clean. There was plenty of comfortable seating, and a cute back yard. The kitchen was very well stocked. We will book here again if we are in San Antonio.

Clean and comfortable

This is a great stay, especially if you have a family. The neighborhood is precious and has great walking trails and parks around. The house was very inviting and cozy. If we are in San Antonio area again, we will definitely be back.

Are stay was great. I would stay here again. The house was beautiful and very clean. Easy check in and check out. The host was great and gave us all the information we needed. Don't think about it, just book it. Great area also.

This house was perfect for our Easter weekend with our daughter who attends UTSA. Super clean and we felt like we were in our home. The host were very thoughtful in setting the home up! Everything you need is there. We definitely enjoyed it!

Perfect retreat

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean & surprisingly spacious. It was bigger than the pictures made it look. Kitchen was very well stocked. Backyard has plenty of space to hangout also. Very convenient access to the interstate and right around the corner from Walmart & grocery store. Would definitely recommend.
