Find the perfect getaway on the Northern California Coast at this spacious Fort Bragg retreat, a 4,000-square-foot home on an acre of land right by the ocean!



The Space:

You'll be treated to a brand new private hot tub, panoramic ocean views from the living space and the deck, and an enormous game room with shuffleboard, foosball, Ping-Pong, and a poker table. The gourmet kitchen also offers every luxury for entertaining, including a built-in wine chiller!



The Neighborhood:

This home is stunningly set amidst the splendor of the Pacific Ocean, just a short stroll from Seaside and Ten Mile Beaches. A quick drive south will lead you to MacKerricher State Park and Beach (five miles), horseback riding opportunities in Cleone (five miles), and the heart of downtown Fort Bragg (nine miles) where you can ride the legendary Skunk Train, tour the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, and admire the treasures on Glass Beach. Drive another eight miles to the picturesque village of Mendocino, or return home to the comfort of four fireplaces, three showers, and two jetted bathtubs.

Incredible spot, Huge house

Quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach. Huge house with plenty of room for large gathering to spread out. Very clean, well kept, beautiful home. Communication with the property managers was simple and easy. Many of the games in the game room were unplayable(broken ping pong table, no ball for the foose ball table, no darts, and the hot tub was dirty, but the host got us sorted out fairly.

Great family space

Loved the area of property - great beach access, not too far from Ft. Bragg. House is very spacious, lots of room to do things together or separately. Fun game room. Clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

The house looks like its a mix between grandpa' s used furniture and flea market finds,.

We did not wish to extend our stay with a late checkout as we left a day early. Very unhappy with the accommodations. I would have notified you earlier however my phone wouldn’t work there I couldn’t email, nor did the WIFI work only one person at a time and very slow. The furniture was sparse and very uncomfortable. The only comfortable chairs were those facing the TV, we didn’t come to watch TV. The view out the front window which could have been spectacular had no chairs. There was a stiff wooden rocker and a funky low chair din corners (no view) without a table to set your non-working phone on. The beds were high, soft, and hard to get in and out of. It's not easy for elderly people to have to climb into these beds they should have had a step or something beside the bed, There were no condiments. I’m not digging into sugar bags everyone else has had their hand in. Who knows how old they were? How much is a box of sugar or creamer packets at Costco, how about a Keurig pot we can bring our own pods you supply the condiments? The dĂ©cor looked like it was great grandpas and garage sale items. The chairs at the dining table were like sitting on five-gallon buckets they were so broken down, and in the breakfast area, they were plastic and should only be used by children, scary for adults. The beach access was not there. I walked down to the beach access, and it had a sign this is not a beach access it was ÂŒ mile north, so I walked it and if there was any access, I didn’t find anything but weeded lots. I did get a call that the dryer was broken, thank you, a little inconvenient for the ocean. The towels were so rough it was like drying with a scratch pad. Take the skin right off. No dishcloth in the kitchen and only a couple of dish towels. We ran the dishwasher, but you will get a few bad reviews. Thank God for a good family and the beautiful ocean we could have stayed in a motel and had better amenities. How this house is kept is shameful. We will not be using it again

Beautiful home & location!

We loved this home and the gorgeous location! It had: plenty of room for the six of us to spread out in, a well-stocked kitchen (except for no potholders), super comfortable beds, and a modern laundry room. We will definitely return!

Beautiful location and neighborhood but cleanliness of home was an issue

We enjoyed this location and neighborhood because of the quietness and closeness to the ocean! Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean was spectacular! This home is very large so accommodating a big large groups is nice. The kitchen was well equipped with things for basic cooking of meals etc. Having 3 bathrooms was great however the water pressure was an issue as well as not having hot water for showers/baths if more than one person was using at the same time! The hot tub was nice but was dirty when we went to use it the first evening we were there. I called and they sent out someone to clean it the next day! The overall cleanliness of the home was a bit poor as there were spider webs/spiders throughout the house; the bathrooms had soap scum in both tubs; the floors had hair that was left by previous renters (I’m assuming); so this left us feeling like we needed to disinfect/clean before we could use anything! Ugh! Not what I had expected to have to deal with on our vacay! We made it work and made the best of it! But I was very disheartened as I thought things would be properly cleaned for us especially with renters being charged the cleaning fee!

First trip to Fort Bragg I

The house and views were amazing. The private beach that was within walking distance did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend. One down side was the water smelled like mildew which had me mildly concerned but nobody had a reaction or got sick.

Our stay was wonderful

This property was perfect for our family. It's so spacious and set up perfectly. The bedrooms and game room were on opposite sides of the house, so we were able to relax in peace and quiet, as others are engaging in friendly competition in the game room. The kitchen was really nice and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It was nice to open the windows and hear the ocean, while cooking or relaxing with a cup of coffee. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen had most things you would need to make a big dinner, but if you plan on cooking several dishes at one time, you may want to bring a few extra pots and pans. Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. The best part of this property is the beach access. There is a nice little path to the beach, just a short walk from the house. The beach was AMAZING. It was so beautiful and we had it all to ourselves most of the time we went down there. We highly recommend this property and we can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful and the location was amazing. So nice to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The house has a ton of space and we had a blast in the game room. Internet was awful! So bring a book. We were surprised by the owners knocking on the door Christmas morning while we were unwrapping presents asking us, when are we leaving? We paid to leave the day after Christmas. Then the next day was check out time 10 am. The owner was in front of the house at 9:58 waiting for us to leave watching us say good bye in the driveway to our family. We paid tripple the amount to stay here. The owners could of gave us some breathing room. It kind of creeped us out. We all left at 10 am. With the owners pulling in as we pulled out.

We'll be back!

Lovely spacious house with lots to do - don't even need to leave the house! There were 8 of us staying at the house, enough room to spread out. Beds were comfortable, game room is awesome - proximity to an amazing beach full of sand dollars was such a treat. We'll definitely come back. Two recommendations for owners: 1) need more information on the light switches - spent a LOT of time flicking switches to find the correct ones for the desired lights. 2) perhaps label the kitchen - this is a LARGE kitchen (awesome) things were spread out and didn't make sense (to the 8 of us) how things were stored - perhaps on the inside of the cabinets you can label what goes there so guests can find things, AND put them back :-) LOVELY PLACE!!!

Great vacation

We had a great time! The walk down to the ocean from the house is great. It was a bit unclear where the acreage was. I think a book with instructions and local amenities would be helpful. It is quite a bit north of town, but the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Cooking and eating while watching the sunrise/sunset was great!

Nice home with huge rooms, a walk to the beach

This house has huge rooms, lots of space. It was great in covid times. The game room was wonderful, as was the hot tub. And, being able to walk to the beach from the house was fantastic.

Best Event House

This house was perfect for hosting family out of town. The kitchen and game room were absolutely amazing. The location is incredible—walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to. This was our first time staying, but definitely not our last. Thank you to the fabulous hosts.

Gorgeous house on an incredible beach. Nice comfy beds and a great game room that our kids loved! Beautiful sunsets. We loved cooking in the huge kitchen. Only thing we missed at this home was wine glasses, otherwise everything else was perfect

Beautiful spacious house near the beach

The house is very spacious. There is small shot way in neighborhood let you walk down to the beach which is very great. Drawback is there are not enough supplies in the house. Would be better to provide the napkins. Refrigerator is very hard to open.

Family getaway before the strike of Covid and everything changed

Beautiful home. Excellent neighborhood and location. Love the beach, which is just moments away. Plenty of room in the house with lots of space. Would be great to have a bigger couch and more lounging/sitting furniture. Was crowded and uncomfortable to try and sit in the room together to talk, enjoy the view, or watch a movie. Fireplace did not work in master bedroom. Tried calling the property manager... such a nightmare. No one answered and automated number said we were the 80th caller, and they would call back. We missed the return call, and when we called back, we had to deal with the same thing again. Never got to talk to anyone and it never got resolved. Overall it was a great stay, right before shelter in place happened and we never traveled again.
