You'll be only a quick walk (a few hundred yards) from the shore with fresh ocean air to enjoy right from the deck. MacKerricher State Park is located both to the north and south for sights like the area's famed Glass Beach. A collection of shops and restaurants await in town a short drive away, including the delicious North Coast Brewing Co.

Perfect family trip

Spent 4 night with the family to celebrate our final kid graduating from college. The house was perfect with everything we needed. The backyard was huge! Great for cornhole and relaxing. Beautiful view of the ocean from the front deck. We will definitely be coming back.

Family get away

The house, location, and yard are quite lovely. The two K bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable as was the kitchen and living areas. Bedrooms 3 and 4 were separate and had very little ventilation. Only one side of the window opened in the 3rd bedroom and the kids room had a black garbage bag over the window so no ventilation at all and totally black without lighting. I would certainly stay there again, though, if these two rooms were upgraded.You couldn't ask for a better yard for the kids nor a view from the interior of the house. The management was very responsive to some of my questions.

Amazing location

The location of this property is lovely and exceeded my expectations. The house itself is a bit odd, and kind of split between what looks to be an updated area, and an older part, and we didn't end up using the older part at all. It took us awhile to figure out the lights, and they could really use better pans in the kitchen, but overall, it was great. The deer come through the back in the morning and the path across the street by the ocean is beautiful. We were there long enough to learn the house, and easily fell in love with it, and the surrounding area. The house was also impeccably clean. I hope we will be back, thank you!

Wonderful house in a magical location.

We’re already planning return stays. It’s such a great place and is better in person than in the photos. The location is perfect with a few steps you are on the beach. The house is very comfortable with lots of different hang out areas and amazing views. The bedrooms above the garage make for a great kids wing of the house. Some reviews mentioned cleanliness but it was spotless when we arrived. Very happy with everything. Definitely coming back!!

Great place to stay

We loved staying here for 5 days while on the Norther California coast. This place was super comfortable and very convenient to Fort Bliss/Mendocino. And the views...wow! All you had to do was walk across the road to the beach. Super AWESOME! For the location, size and connivence of the home, it was well worth the price.

Amazing beach front house

This place was well kept and had all the necessities and more. It has no air conditioning, but being on the coast it wasn’t a problem. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything you need!

This place has it all! Cleaniness, roomy, comfortable beds, toiletries, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, gorgeous ocean view, easy access to beach, beautiful spacious backyard, easy check-in and out. We would definitely stay here again!!

Awesome location and backyard

Awesome location, location, location. Beautiful relaxing backyard and deck. Great response and resolution from local support when an issue arose regarding lack of water pressure. Thank you for the rapid response and resolution. We did enjoy the home, however, some furniture is dated and needs to be repaired or replaced. The bed in the room over the garage is really sagging, there is no closet in the that room or a dresser to put your clothes in, so the occupants staying in that room had to live out of their suitcases. The bed in the room with the foosball table sags even more. There are not enough comfortable places to sit for the number of people allowed to stay in the home in the either the main living room of in the sitting area in the kitchen/dining room. With our party of 6, someone was having to sit on the floor when it came time for just kick back and relax inside when it got a little chilly outside. The appliances, specifically the stove top and the oven could use some updating too. If the furniture is updated, we would stay there again.

Awesome location but needs updating.

We've rented this house before. You can't beat the location and views but the house really needs updating. The bed linens are cheap and ugly, ripped upholstery, stained carpet, cheap pots and pans that need to be replaced. This house could really be fabulous if a fairly small investment was made in updating the bedding, linens, etc. Also, the eco-friendly dry pods of shampoo/conditioner, body wash are awful! Bring your own products if you rent this place.

Good.

We would stay here again. The location was fabulous. The kitchen had an excellent selection of usable stuff for us. We bring partially prepped food to cook our own meals. The backyard garden is stunning. Our kids loved the game table upstairs. The lock box was difficult to get the key out of. It took 3 of us to eventually get it open. I would classify this as a "cabin" quality vrbo. Furniture is battered and some of it has holes in the fabric. The white furnature is discolored. The up stairs bed is very hard my in-laws would not have been able to sleep on it. Its dated, old, and a little dingy like a cabin. Visible water stains on ceiling and the blinds were caked with dust. It's definitely corporate owned and operated... so it doesn't get the TLC a proud homeowner would give. Nevertheless, I have stayed in these types of vrbos before and would continue to do so. We loved our stay and would gladly stay here again. I just wanted to be honest about the overall state of the place.

Perfect Northcoast House

The location of this beautiful and spacious home cannot be beat. We loved everything about it: of course the ocean right outside our front door, but also the amenities, the beautiful yard, and the privacy. Each couple / person has their own space, and their own bathroom, and the shared spaces are wonderfully appointed. This home is pure luxury!

Undisturbed Paradise

We so loved this house, the property and the setting. Everything was so perfect that we wouldn’t change a thing except make it a dog-friendly rental so we can bring our pooches next year! Thank you for supplying us with precious memories: sunsets from the deck with wine & cheese, deer sightings under the giant cedars, long morning walks along the ocean trail, movie nights curled up in the cozy den and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. It was all so wonderful. We will be back, dogs or no dogs!

Perfect for our family!

This is our second time staying here and we plan to return! The home is in the best location ever, directly across from the beach, and on a quiet street. It has a gorgeous backyard and stunning ocean views from the kitchen and front room. There were plenty of clean towels, extra blankets, fans, etc. We loved the layout with the extra "wing" apart from the main rooms (which is where our daughter, SIL, and grandkids slept). The windows need some TLC, but other than that, it's in great shape.

Family gathering

The house was wonderful, great views, comfortable beds, spacious, and a great location. my only issues is with the managment company. Outside trash was left full as was the recycle at the beginning of our stay so we had no place to put the trach and recycle, and the dryer distroyed some of our cloths due to a broken piece, not a fault of the owners. We truly loved the house. Thank you owners for sharing.
