The Space:

Spaciously laid out, this cabin-style home is designed for elbow room. Everyone can help make morning waffles in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The centrally-located living room is perfect for game nights, especially if there's a fire going in the wood-burning fireplace. Outside, explore the deck and picnic area set up around by the private gas grill. The hot tub is private and towels are provided! Younger guests will love the fairy ring and fun places to play within the woods. When it's time to turn in, guests can pick out a bedroom with a skylight or a bonus futon.



The surrounding trees may make guests feel like they're staying in their own forest - and they're not far off! Van Damme State Park is within two miles of the home - enter at the official Van Damme State Park Campground just over one-and-a-half miles away. Try a game of Redwoods Bingo! For guests seeking a different kind of green, Little River Golf Course offers nine holes of fun just one-and-a-half miles away.

Great getaway and lovely cabin. Lots of redwood trees around, very peaceful and private. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and great layout of the dining/living room area. Hot water was limited so just need to plan showers accordingly.

We loved our stay at this property in Little River! We have stayed at many homes in the area, and this is one of the best ones. Communications with the host Casago was exceptional. When we needed to add our dog last-minute to the reservation, they responded within minutes and were very accommodating. The location of this house was excellent, near the Mendocino Village and the Little River Inn. We loved the forest setting and were awed by the big beautiful ring of redwoods in the driveway. The home was comfortable and spacious, with lovely wood paneling and accents. The skylights made it feel like you were sleeping in a treehouse. Our five year old enjoyed the “Secret Forest” out back and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a great hike at Jug Handle. This home has reignited our desire to purchase our own property in Mendocino. Thank you for sharing it with us!

It’s hard to find houses that have three bedrooms with large beds for couples. This one is great for 3 couples traveling together. It also set among beautiful redwood trees.

Deep in the woods was a beautiful cabin…

We loved our time at this magical cabin in the Mendocino Redwoods… SO beautiful! We had everything we needed and our bed was comfy! The woods were spectacular! We enjoyed using the high quality kitchen and sitting in the lovely living area with the fireplace and tv. The furnishings were so beautiful! Mendocino was close by too. Would definitely return to this lovely place.

We love this house!!!

My adult daughters and I did a mother-daughter weekend (along with my toddler grandson!) at this absolutely lovely and very, very comfortable home. Everything about this place is special - the furnishings are charming, the architecture is spacious, and the little fairy garden is magical.

Comfy, atmospheric getaway

My family of 7 cannot speak more highly of our experience at this Little River home. We arrived to find it clean, tidy, and just as advertised. Being nestled in the Redwoods gave us all a sense of comfort, belonging, and a fair amount of wonder. Oh and we all loved looking for banana slugs! Our stay was truly memorable.

Perfect Family Getaway!

It was so nice to get away and reconnect as a family In this perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed the home, especially the hot tub, well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The property was beautiful and felt very far away from home. We love the area and hope to have a chance to visit again!

Wonderful, warm, inviting home where many memories were made.

We loved our stay. Home was in great repair, warm and inviting living room with fireplace to gather around, great hot tub, bedrooms were all large and well decorated, and kitchen was well stocked. Will look forward to returning!!

Great place to stay!

We had a very relaxing time here. Our family stayed here - 2 adults, 2 kids. Plenty of space, the house and property are both beautiful. We loved the redwoods out the front door! Good location, lots of hiking nearby. About 8-10 min drive to downtown Mendocino.
